Had a 916 20 years ago with 45mm Termignoni exhausts. I recently sold my Aprilia RSV Factory with carbon Akrapovic exhausts. I very recently purchased a Suzuki TL-R with Yoshimura exhausts… And the TLR sounds the best of the 3, in my opinion. Sounds awesome!
As a former owner of a TRX850. I’m glad you put THE best sounding twin cylinder in the mix. Not long after I sold it, I heard it coming toward my house. But I thought it was a Ducati 999 I could hear. When I saw it was my old bike, I wept at my stupidity! They sound much like a V8 and deeper and throatier than the bigger bore 1000cc v-twins of the Honda, Suzuki and Ducati. I also have a soft spot for Guzzis. The V7 on your vid sounds awesome! Great vid! 👍
I gave the MT07 a honorable mention when talking about the TRX850 since they have the exact some engine configuration. Great sounding bikes none the less.
I actually have three of the bikes on your list: '75 RD350, '74 TX650A and a Guzzi - not a V7 but a 2004 V11 Sport. I rode around the USA on the 650 in 1978. The 350 I am currently restoring to running condition and the V11 is a daily rider. There is just something about two cylinders.
Yamaha RD 350 were produced from 1973 to the mid 80'ties The model shown in this video is a YPVS model, and it is the last RD 350 model and was introduced approx 1982
Jo, how are you guys. I bought a yamaha yzfr 125 from 2016 but my two buttons reset and select are not working, everything else is working. Can you help me?
Hey if you still like 1 cylinder i have 1 new bike from honda....sell in asia as honda rsx or honda winner it sound awesome even if its stock...1 cylinder, dohc nice color and light
Yamaha CP2 (MT07/R7/Tenere/Tracer) sound the same as the Nuda. I think they're interchangeable. In any case, they sound much better than the boxer twins of BMW, which sound farty.
My opinion...2 cilinders is bouring. The dull sound they make. I have 2 four cilinder bikes that make enough power on low rpm's. Z1000 2016 & z-h2(flashed). Don't get my wrong, i love every type of configuration, but the V-twin is so overhyped. (Sorry for my poor English).

TLR and RC51 sound similar to you??
Nice! I love that you mention the ignition (firing) degrees as it is a key to understand the exhaust note of an engine, especially for twins.

Definitely the best way to make a twin sound good is to make it a 2 stroker!!

The Suzuki 270° parallel twin sounds much better.
My GPz 500s (ninja500r) sounds nettef than a few of those tbh
Did I miss any bikes that should have made the list?
