They are sweet!!! I had them on my cb 500x and now on my tenere700, you can't go wrong with those 😊 good wind protection to, I dropped my cb 15 times and they never moved, very impressed
You do net get any tank “touching” issues if you have somekind of bar end weight with threded hole (so no need to use expander). I did my own from the oem bar end weight, much more secure.
Yah I saw your solution Marcus, very nice. Unfortunately I don't have access to a lathe etc so I gotta stick with the simple option, but pretty happy with it anyway 🤙
Hello Josh, They look Fin good and seem tuff stuff for the bike; I just got back from my Bike Tour; Broken Hill and Tibooburra ...weather was bloody wet! Where the Fk is Summer? Thanks for your instructions on the install.... David...Adelaide...Tiger 900GT
I actually mounted mine keeping the bar end weights with no problem. And it does not touch the tank. You might want to try that. Awesome gear they never bend
I don't use the stock bars so I can't thread the weights in, and I don't really want them anyway. It's ok how it is now I have angled them up a tiny bit more 🍻 Cheers
cool vid buddy..11:32 skewed mounting brackets...I have the X-Factory version which uses the same mounts and they come with 'inner shims' which are tapered to accommodate that weird skewed gapping where the clamp meets the bar.....
I dop my T7 a lot on super rocky trails so they take a beating, and these are WAY, WAY, WAY better than the Barkbusters i started with, and better looking too IMO
I ended up kinking one of these trying to straighten it out after a drop, eventually went back to Bark busters 😬 Glad you're having a better time with them 🤘
How's the acerbis guards holding up? Checked out your page for lever info. Forgive me if I missed it but what levers are you using? Any clearance issues with the guard and levers? Thx for the video and info!
mvdbr.com/tenere-700/ 4th pic down just stock levers cut down to 2 finger length (so no clearance issues obviously but I don't think you'd have any problems fitting the full stock levers in). As for the hand guards, got an accessory update video coming out tomorrow night as it happens 😁
@@MVDBR any issues with cutting the brake levers, mine are stick and boarder-line fit inside the handguards. I am assuming it's ok to trim the levers to save buying new ones? Thanks
Surely the standard set fit most bikes, these weren't designed specifically for the T7 (obviously 😬) but I guess it all depends if you have bar end weights and all that shizzle.
@@MVDBR will the bark buster brackets fit on don't get me wrong but bending the bolts like that will compromise the bolt I have acerbis stuff on my t7 and it is good
Great Job Josh and they look good too! 👍
Cheers Mark 🍻

Nice, that's what I like to hear 😁
They are what I have on the 950. They took the full force of that lie down. Just moved a little.
Bloody pigeons 😜
I thought yours were the same mate, yeah if they can survive the 950 surely they can survive the T7 😁 Bloody pigeons yep 😅

Nice video 📹 Josh...they look good 👍 What handlebars do you have on the... ? Cheers, Steve
Cheers mate. Running the Pro Taper Contour Pastrana FMX bars, there's a list of all this shit on my website too 😊 mvdbr.com/tenere-700
Very cool upgrade mate . looks like better wind breakers also.I 🤙
Yeah should keep pesky lantana and rocks from other bikes off my precious digits also 😊🏍

I know mate the weather still sucks, 12 months later! What a shit year. Good to hear you're out and about riding though David, cheers 👌
Not bad Josh, guess we will find out next ride lol. Wife says say hi to Nat,miss her.
Next ride done and dusted, no drops to test them out as yet 😎
Awesome Josh. Definite improvement
🙏 cheers mate
I have a set of flag-style Acerbis ( I pronounce it AH-CHUR-BEES) they seem okay but as tough as my wrap-around Moose ones! Good In-depth review!
Yeah you need wrap arounds to stop them levers breaking 😁
On fire with the vids lately !
🔥🔥

Did you had to do any modifications to the stock bar end in order to fit these
Who doesn't love new bling, they do look good . Let's see how long it takes you to break these ones 😂 .Cheers🍻
I hope to keep them in mint condition for at least.... 2 more rides 🤔😁
Interested to see how these go after a few rides.
Yeah me too mate. Well a few drops anyway 😁😁
I used to have those they bend easily inwards after two or three falls and that was on the 500 EXC
😭😭 nooo don't tell me that Oli. I kept the good old Barkbusters just in case haha

Those would have been handy 😁 cheers
Those Hand guards sure look like some Quality bit of kit. Would be interested in the performance gains and also your recommended torque Settings. 🤘🤣🍻
Immeasurable on both counts Pete haha cheers mate good to see you still lurking around 🍻👌

@@alexgray4357 🤷♂ I don't see any issues, only positives for me 👌
I use to use Acerbis for years. They broke way easier then the ego barkbusters. But acerbis has a better bar clamp and look better.
Strange how some people report they're weak and some say they're strong af, guess I'll find out sooner or later 😁🤙
Far out bro 😊 look good 👍🍻🍻
Hooroo 😎
Look good ! Hey Josh where's Bikerchick these days ?
Still not riding. Cheers 👍
I really rate the Acerbis handguards on my Beta.... can't get any for my Aprilia yet I don't think, although they could have somit now.

@@HippoDrones too many vibes without? T7 came with them but I got rid of pretty quick smart ✌
@@MVDBR aye, am not sure if they help, but don't like tingly fingers

What are those grips mate? 10:55
ODI Rogue lock-on grips, best ever 🍻
So whants thise guards.. Nice 🇳🇴☕
They are a little on the expensive side but not as bad as some 🍻
@@MVDBR about 140£ here. But dam, they looks good.
They Look great won’t be long before there all scratched and maybe missing a bit of plastic 😂 🍺🍺👍 cheers
😭 sad but true lol hopefully they stay nice for a while 🤞
Great vid but skip to the 5 minute for tutorial
Don't make excuses for badly made brackets mate
Ah I still like these better than Barkbusters, and they should do what they're designed to do 😁👌
