Mjx is definitely here to play! And here to stay. The 14301 drift truck is great and goes with me on vacations to hotels, and recently got the H14BM and its been a blast at the parks. definitely getting the 10208 V2 in time. The price to fun is just unbelievable.
Need more videos like that. Gives you better insight on size of car that you might want to eventually buy, but have hard time finding place where you could try it out.
Cool bro. You got yourself a subscriber. I can't wait to see that truck run. I've been waiting for Hyper Go to make a 1:10 scale. Knowing Hyper Go, I'll bet it's fast and a great deal for the money.

I really like how beefy the drive shafts are on all 3 trucks. I would think the Granite is an accurate 1/10 scale and the Hyper Go is as well. It would cost a small fortune to upgrade a Granite to match what comes stock on the HyperGo. I only own a 3s Granite but I must say it's survived quite a bit and if something breaks a local hobby store usually has what you need. The HyperGo is a beauty for sure and I bet it's faster than the Granite. Very nice comparison. Thanks for sharing. 👍🏆🏆🏁🏁
🤙 nice size comparison video, do some running videos, talk about the handling, suspension, do some flips... I watched another video on this RC and it looks way too bouncy and it was constantly rolling over.
The comparisons are interesting. In principle, the natural rival is the Rlaarlo but it is clear that it is smaller but it looks good and, like the MJX, it seems quite well made. The Arrma model, although it is already a veteran, is well designed and has in its favor the support of a recognized brand with good after-sales service and against that it needs to make some improvements. These types of models operate at a price level in Europe of €250 to €400 and the question arises between a cheaper Chinese brand and better equipped as standard or a more expensive recognized manufacturer but with more presence in the market and better basic quality. . I opted for a Team Magic E5 on my monster 1/10.
@nivin3 so the omni terminator just released a v2 as well. It just depends if you want something a little more big and rough (mjx) or small and precise (OT)
Thank you. Can you compare using the different hyper go sizes. I have the 16209 and would like to know if the 14209 or 10209 would be a size to consider.
If your considering either the 14th or 10th scale Hypergo's , you should go with the Rlaarlo carbon Terminator if you don't already have one. The Terminator is the best 12th scale basher out right now imo.
My omni Terminator is sitting on the shelf until rlaarlo gets their diff cups figured out unfortunately, I actually prefer the 2997a over the rlaarlo due to that problem. But the 10208 easily trumps both!
Hey thanks for watching! The esc and reciever are separate and can be changed individually. I already swapped mine. Check out the video! After bash video ruclips.net/video/ukBGa04itYU/видео.html
Great video! What I don't like is that you need a 4S battery to get similar performance to the granite on 3S. Maybe you can change the pinion size to make it more arrma-ish
@@VoltUpRCOh I see. Great info! I think designing a relatively small 1/10 with 4S in mind is a bit excessive. Even Arrmas tend to destroy themselves on 3S...
@@VoltUpRC Thank you for the information. Such a pity. It would be great if what they release in the west is a V2 with extra parts and adjustment like they did with the 14210. Looking forward to your future content :-)
Great video that popped up on my feed. I've actually been looking at both of these online wanting to get one and this video has definitely help sway me in the direction of which one to go with. I actually have a guy about 45 minutes away from me that I found on Facebook marketplace who also sells new and refurbished HBX cars and I'm highly considering messaging him as he has the 2997a for $130 brand new.
Glad I could help! There isn't/ wasn't anything else out there comparing them when i was looking! Thanks for watching! YT said you replied to my mjx size comparison video but I assume your talking about my hbx 1/12 comparison video
@@VoltUpRC yes that is what I was referring to lol. The video ended and the MJX started playing right as I hit send so I think that's how it happened. I am super stoked for that 1/10 MJX though!
@@VoltUpRC I do feel like a good comparison for the MJX would have to be the new Traxxas Stampede 4x4 VXL or the old Hoss (same exact truck though). It has a center diff, 4s rated motor, and similar size.

The hyper go is way more durable, an arrma level clunky basher for stunts and huge jumps. The omni terminator is a tekno style precision machine, but I wouldn't put mine on a skate park or it would come back in pieces. Both Beatiful in their own way. My omni is shelved for the time being waiting on rlaarlo to fix their faulty diff cups that kei wearing out
wow. same wheelbase. I thought hyper go is narrower because it seems like it. So the body cover is too wide its making wheelbase looked narrow. Narrow wheelbase allmost a dealbreaker for me. definitely will get one.
It seems the width is pretty identical, the Hyper go is a hair shorter in length, but I think the rubbing has to do with the soft tires and small cutout wheelwells. The tires seems a lot firmer on the granite and it has really large wheelwell cutouts. Both bodies stacked seem about the same width as well. Would probably be good to try the granite stock tires on the Hyper GO. Overall the trucks seem extremely similar in size, just the granite comes with taller tires and longer shocks making it seem a little bigger
I just watched the Mjx YT channel on this and im not impressed. The body popped off on every hard landing, so much to the point that they had to strap it to the frame and it broke a shock. For all that to happen on the first battery pack is not good. Hopefully they fix those week points before they start shipping these out.
@VoltUpRC yea I saw your video, they should put a spring lock like you suggested or even a turn lock might work but clearly whatever they got on it right now isn't working.
I'd be okay comparing it to this if it was a 3s truck. It's a 4s capable truck, therfore it should be compared directly to other 4s 10th scale trucks. The 4s Kraton, Outcast, and Maxx. It's gonna win the price battle at least. I don't like it's chances in the suspension department against any of them. All the run videos I've seen it bounces like the Maxx Slash or the little Chinese trucks. That's the one thing Rlaarlo nailed in my opinion. The Omni Terminator is small, had a terrible launch/pre sale fiasco, and isn't very powerful in either version but it's suspension works great. It lands smooth. It reminds me of my 8s Outcast exb landing. Making tiny light vehicle shocks with limited travel work is hard. Traxxas sucks at it even with big trucks. It looks like MJX copied not only the self removing body from my Xmaxx but the wonky shock action also. I hope it's successful and they continue to build larger rigs. I enjoy large scale a lot more. I want a Xmaxx/8s Arrma sized Typhon type buggy and 5th scale Mojave type truck. Like my SBR 2.0 and Mojave's had a baby. I don't care who builds them first, I'll buy both 1st day.
I hear what your saying, but the arrma 4s and maxx are 9th scale regardless of what the manufacturer says. Compare the 1/10 granite mt to 1/10 kraton and they're not even similar. Not sure if this works but check out this photo. cdn.msuk-forum.co.uk/monthly_2019_04/new_arrma_cars_scale.png.2e8ffb1f5f472deae5fceb1a83199de9.png I'm not sure there are any other 4s true 1/10 trucks on the market. I'd think though if you want to compare this truck to any of the ones you've mentioned, it must doing something pretty well. It does seem like a large hyper go 1/16 in feel but it shares nothing (aside from transmitter) with the terrible handling 1/14. That rlaarlo is silky smooth for sure, just like my teknos. I use those trucks for a different purpose, teknos I take better care of, this hyper go is a clunky basher and great for doing clunky basher stuff with it.
If shocks are not your taste...just open them drill more or larger holes on the pistons and change flyid to your taste ..They will work as a high end ones...and 200% better tben stock. Even Xrays or any high end rc can be better doing this....IMHO with experienxe doing that 😜

@Bswithjay idk man, these are currently available for $195 shipped on aliexpress and have a better drivetrain than 99% of rc's at most any price. I've recieved excellent customer service from them, and I think it's pretty beastly looking. This thing has been a tank for me and a ton of fun.
