@drewjayy8495 you can get good lift until you bind the front steering links, then they'll need replaced with some with more articulation. The hot racing are good shocks but I'm still working the best spring setup. Maybe stock

@sorrochazo hey man I appreciate you watching! I do have just over $100 in the truck putting what you see in the video at about $250USD. I think it's an incredible value at that price. Yeah the V2 part is just clickbait and I appreciate you clicking! This car is certainly not really comparable to a 6s kraton, but ABSOLUTELY is comparable to a 3s Granite and maybe superior! My kraton however has bent chassis on bash sessions such as this, until I got an m2c chassis, and was $700 into the kraton 6s. I'm having a blast over here and hope you are too!

Sorrochazo, no sé dónde vives, pero los precios dependen mucho de tu ubicación. Algunos en EEUU han conseguido el MJX por 150 dolares, que es lo que vale en China. En Asia la diferencia de precio entre un Arrma 4S es abismal. Yo tuve dos Granite y cualquier recambio me costaba un pastizal traerlo de EU o EEUU.

That's very unlucky. Mine came loose on first run but so loose it didn't eat itself. A couple of other guys had this same manufacturing issue. Tightened up properly and it's sound now. Very nearly ruins this awesome platform!

@ch-vs3fw it's actual the sc10 body, I didn't think an sct would be all that relevant to compare. I'm not in the traxxas politics, I just get tired of their watered down cars that pretty much force you into their overpriced and necessary upgrade plan. If they made good cars that would be one thing, but they neuter the cars as rtr and make it so they have to be upgraded. I feel they do this worse than any other brand. Just sell the car the way it needs to be, if the price is high, so be it, don't sell cars that are just good enough to last a couple packs before needing better parts

Sure do! I think the sniper will handle better but I can't imagine the durability is there. Of the three I've done, I feel it's Hyper Go is most durable and fastest, sniper handles best, and maverick is in the middle of both/ maybe best of both worlds

How's the spur gear holding up? DoRc stripped his.

No problem with the spur yet, and I locked my slipper. BUT I don't even have a full pack through it yet, and it's down waiting on a cvd.... time will tell, but if the spur goes I feel it's my fault. Do rc was running 4s, so he was just asking for it

This is only the second video in existence on this truck, it came out only a week or two ago. I think your referring to the original quantum xt? This is the all new quantum2 completely different check it out! The maverick website still lists both so you can compare

The old Quantum was not very durable at all, this new Quantum2 version is a complete redesign including new more durable plastics. The new MT Quantum2 version is proving to be a very durable little truck with lots of vids on the MT. This new truggy version is the same truck as the MT version, just a different body & wing added. However Kaos RC in Australia has stripped 3 crown gears, first run he stripped 1 crown gear. Then replaced that gear, second run he stripped both the front & rear crown gears. All the other vids iv'e seen including my own Quantum2 MT have held up well with no failures. But then I dont bash that hard myself.

@@harlyquinTires on the Quantum2 are 120mm diam x 70mm wide, hope that helps.

Maverick tires are a little shorter, about 5mm. Same width. However the fsr tires are flat where the maverick is rounded, which gives the maverick a much smaller look overall

Everyone reviewer does durability tests dating back to ultimate rc and the goat Jang. It’s good to know what they can stand up too. Volt rc is a new channel and I am guessing but he pays out of his pocket. The enjoyment of the hobby is tinkering with them. All rcs use to be kits there was no rtr. Sorry volt rc im not speaking on your behalf.

Yeah I had the Maverick quantum plus xt flux and absolutely loved it. I had sold it due to tough times. But I’m in a great place now and rebuilding my inventory. Love the look and hpi does great with the Maverick line.

@gamingbattlegames1225 those land wave ramps are probably a-ok but I personally can't justify the cost. I also prefer a kicker style. I'm fortunate enough to have a tractor and property that I can use to build dirt ramps with. Are you a member of any online fb groups that you could ask for assistance? I'd think there's people that would jump at the chance to help out and make a couple dollars by building you a wood ramp

@@davidwiese508 hard to say, I've been pretty gentle on it, only a couple hits and tumbles but no issues so far. Previous models have been fairly durable so I'd only expect this to be as good or better. If you check out ftx ramraider bash videos you should get an idea as they're the same base platform. I don't think it's arrma level but I think you can enjoy it without treating it fragile

@davidwiese508 so that's tricky. The diffs aren't sealed so they don't hold fluid well. I've only added fluid to the center diff on mine. Where I'd start would be 7500 rear 10k front and go from there. You want the rear pretty loose to avoid fishtail but don't want to diff out too easy, and the front you want as firm as possible for straight tracking but not so tight you lose steering. @Gerar79 I really appreciate your perspective, here, the kraton 4s costs about 60% more, but is probably worth the difference. I think the transmitter on this one is a bit better though.

Los precios es una locura como cambian según donde estés. Aquí en Japón el FSR son como 260 euros y un Arrma 3S, no 4S, igual casi el doble si tienes suerte de encontrarlo.

También te digo que dell FSR Sniper me acaban de mandar una oferta de Aliexpress en 349€ de 419€ que se acaba de lanzar y creo que seguirá bajando contando que lo más parecido que hay en el mercado es el ZD Racing 9021 esta en 290€.
