This evening I heard a hawker in Pune India selling garlands.. the garland which women wear over the bun on their heads is called Gajraa in Marathi language. He was saying Dahaladongajare - Dahaladongajare (2 garlands for 10 rupees) which sounded like the Tandanum-Tana.. the way he was saying it reminded me of this song and since then it's playing in my head.. I even listened to it several times..

I used to play local folk music instruments of my locality and we were taught vocally using these taals(rythm/beat i guess) and vocally narrating those taal would picturize the whole song without any musical instruments involved. To this day I find it easier to understand a beat vocally rather than using numbers and symbols..
What I like about both Shankhar Mahadeven and Ar Rahman is that they both represents infinity in their composition. AR Rahman is presenting godly infinity and Shankar Ji is presenting frequencies and notes infinity. Both are so good. Ek ishwar Ke Nam pe song Kiya aur dusra ne Sur me ishwar dhika Diya.
