I’ve been sourcing on my 30 min lunch breaks the past 2 days & it’s so freaking exciting lol 1000% not enough time BUT good practice which is all I’m doing this week. Studying & practicing. Definitely thought I found a product yesterday & today BUT after further review & going deeper I was able to find 1. Was unable to be sold FBA because it was hazardous & the other was on sale for a great price, piece of clothing BUT rank was super high. Welp again I go tomorrow, maybe I’ll go practice in Dollar Tree! Thanks Nikki K!
I spent $4K on inventory & it’s still sitting in my house & at 2 Amazon warehouses so THIS is why I decided to study & practice more before going & spending money before I at least have a really good idea of what I’m doing.

I try to sell new release toys which is coming in September, but Amazon already on the listing with 40 percent off. Does Amazon intend to sell them or they just be on listing as place holder for for product until other sellers come in? If they really intent to sell them, should I sell the toys?

I am trying to budget for my purchase of your ungating guide/products but I was wondering; is there an additional expense? I get that we have to buy items from a wholesaler bit is that included in the price of the guides?
Hi Laura, no you’d need to place and pay for your order but it’s all outlined how to maximize your money to spend less in the guide.
For the topical and grocery guide members are spending $220 including shipping to get ungated in all the categories and brands. There is a minimum $200 order with this supplier.
For the toy guide there is no minimum order and members are spending $280-320 to get ungated in all the big brands. It varies based on what you want to buy, and when. You can order one off or all at once.

I went product sourcing yesterday for the first time, very frustrating so far, i'm gated in almost everything. The few products that I've picked up and listed are not selling. Oh and my car got hit in the Walmart parking lot. Now i have a dent in the car too. ;(
That is terrible!. I had another new person to FBA (like me) tell me it took them only a few weeks of successfully selling as FB"M" before they started getting ungated in several categories after having a proven track record of successful sales and good reviews. He told me several categories that he was able to get into and suggested just get started with any random products just to get your reputation established.
@@MoverandShaker i tried selling FBM with no luck so far, maybe i need to go look for a different product.. Been selling a few things on eBay though.. Good luck to both of us!
@@rakszhanna I've been selling FBM since 2004 on everywhere online including even Amazon for a short time it's FBA that I'm learning like you but currently I went out and bought a bunch of stuff that I purchased for
Amazon FBA that was gated but I sold a lot of them on Mercari and eBay pretty quickly and they were toys! I just went up to Walmart grocery and grabbed a bunch of miscellaneous clearance items and when I mean miscellaneous I mean they are miscellaneous but these are going to be probably my first shipment to Amazon FBA try to grab random miscellaneous stuff and I did get over 25 items that will clearly make profits wherever i sell them but going to try FBA. I already have all the supplies for shipping. I am excited either way. Don't give up just yet!!! you can do this!!! we just have to learn everything to make FBA happen. Good luck!!!
@@MoverandShaker Its scary to send your stuff to amazon, its like you have no control over it anymore. You can return it to store etc lol I really hope it works out for the both of us! I'm learning slowly how to get ungated first.. Btw what do you mean by miscellaneous stuff? it's not just toys? or different kind of toys?
@@rakszhanna random stuff would be... go through the store and find items on clearance that when you scan it with the amazon seller app in the store and it does not say restricted and also makes you at least 5 dollars in profit if not more. Categories like Home and Garden, office supplies, hardware, anything that does not say restricted or gated. You have to get your feet wet with FBA shipping too. I noticed though Amazon prices for items selling are higher than eBay's prices. I bought some tatoo markers that are $4.50 selling for $27 on Amazon. Crazy example of high prices. I have sold a good chunk of my first trip on eBay and Mercari

Is any other way I can figure out the estimated monthly sales without going to Jungle Scout? Even with the Keepa paid version does not show it?
Jungle scout is free and it’s what I use so I’m sorry I don’t know another way

Honestly the best way to learn is just to start!
You can't learn by just watching videos you have to do practise for learning. You can just get an idea through video otherwise you can only learn by doing practise by yourself
