( and im neither a broncos or russell wilson fan )
Players --especially star qbs--don't ask to get their coach and gm fired every year...especially a long tenured potential HOF coach. That, combined with the fact that the Wilson trade was one of the biggest trades in recent history and how bad he was last season, and how Seattle looked better without him, makes it a huge NFL storyline. You just don't think it should be talked about or reported on?
@@Chris-dj5hy its simple. i think its a non-story. as i mentioned, russ probably talked to jodi about that he cant or doesnt wanna work with pete anymore(and the same with pete and jody) so one of them had to leave. the story could have been pete wanted to get rid of russell but that wouldnt fit in the russell wilson bashing narrative =/

It was Russ who it's now reported wanted Pete fired. Where's your evidence Pete's been wanting him gone? It makes sense he was traded only after Russ tried to get him fired. Rapaport thinks pretty highly of himself doesn't he? He thinks we care if athletes have a problem with him or that we care who and what he approves of. In the words of Bill B: "do your job." I think his reporting is ok but too much personal stuff about himself is in it.

@@marcoaranda84 Oh yeah for sure, most listed above were pissed off at the time. I get it but once the dust has settled, everyone (sans Thomas III) are back on good terms.
And all of their problems with Seattle. Revolved around Russell Wilson. And if you don't think Wilson was the problem? Wilson is in the prime of a NFL QBs career. And was traded. Not as Payton Manning was, old and hurt. Seattle kept a head coach, over a franchise QB. And they played better with a good back up QB. Wilson was definitely the problem in Seattle
Look, I'm a Broncos fan and my brother's a Seahawks fans so I've spent every year since he beat us in the Super Bowl trying to hate on Wilson. But I found it impossible to hate him before he became a Bronco, so to me this report is disgusting. It's a hit job. To me it doesn't make sense for Wilson to do this, plus you find that the Athletic report has no named sources. I get protecting your sources but Russell Wilson isn't China or Russia or the New York Mafia, he's not gonna put a bounty on these sources. So to me that's a massive red flag. So why would the Athletic do this? What all of the sudden become popular almost randomly with very little evidence this past year? Framing Wilson as a diva, which was evidently fueled by how horrible his season went. The article also suggested Hackett adapted his offense to Wilson, implying Hackett is a good coach ruined by Wilson having his playcalls inserted into the 2-minute offense. Well, our offense was at its best when Wilson was calling the plays before Hackett was gone. So there are just way too many red flags from this article for me to trust it. Of course, it might get proven true next year or later, but if Russell Wilson really is such a diva, isn't it interesting that the Athletic couldn't put a name on it (at least when the article released)? Not even somebody who wants attention? So unless this Payton-Wilson thing turns out to be a nightmare, it's safe to assume this article is nothing more than a clickbait.

never understood why this ever was such a big story.
Russell and Pete obviously couldnt work together anymore so everyone tried to figure out a way of doing so. Russ probably went to jody allen and said either he goes or i go which is happening every year multiple times with players and pete probably said the same thing.
guess because its russell wilson everyone wants to make a big story out of it cause everyone loves to mock him.
nonsense.
@@ChriSSorrow You say it's a non story but you're also making claims about what you think happened. It makes no sense.
You're saying the story "could have been pete wanted to get rid of russell" but that ignores the reporting. It was Russ who publicly named the teams he would want to be traded to. It was Russ who it's now reported wanted Pete fired. Where's your evidence Pete's been wanting him gone? It makes sense he was traded only after Russ tried to get him fired.
You can't say it's a non story and then explain what "PROBABLY" happened LOL
@@Chris-dj5hy whatever dude, i dont expect you to understand what i mean. all good
@@ChriSSorrow it would appear that YOU don't even know what you mean 😏
Pitch clock I'm baseball? I watch from now on if it's true
Bronco Country, let's lie... down and cry
I don't know how many "reports" we have to hear from former players, coaches, and media to finally come to the conclusion Russell Wilson is a two-faced cornball🤷♂
Is Russell Wilson any better than any Average Quarterback over the last 20 yrs..cuzzz im not convinced hes any better than a 2nd string guy getting a few starts because the #1 is injured. He certainly does not deserve HOF talk
Russell Wilson is beginning to sound like an absolute dumpster fire.
Interesting when you talk about other people's lives! Idk
Russell traded himself he was the only one that could pull the ripcord the Seahawks didnot need the BS so they let him trade himself
These nerd on nerd crimes gotta stop man
This isn't true. Once again, Pat and his show will chase literally any headline they can regardless of how plausible it is.
Is this Brett?
Rapaport thinks pretty highly of himself doesn't he? He thinks we care if athletes have a problem with him or that we care who and what he approves of. In the words of Bill B: "do your job." I think his reporting is ok but too much personal stuff about himself is in it.
Who said this tho?! It’s odd cuz marShawn Lynch was on “I am athlete” and they was sayin Pete was a con man 😅
Russ lied to the fans who supported him most. Hell lie again
Earl, Lynch, Sherm, Bobby, Russ.. they’ve all left on bad terms with Seattle. Kinda crazy how the throw all the negative press on Russ.
That ain’t true - you need to fact check there.
@@jasondousett3620 things are good now with most of them, but at the time alot of the former players had problems with the Seahawks organization and management
@@marcoaranda84 Oh yeah for sure, most listed above were pissed off at the time. I get it but once the dust has settled, everyone (sans Thomas III) are back on good terms.
@@jasondousett3620 how do you tell me it’s not true and then a comment later agree. 🤦🏼♂️.
DangeRuss is lying!
Be careful Pat. You’ll be sued by another washed up QB
Pat used to report on sports news. Now it seems he will chase any rumor. Gets views I guess.
Pete did cost Seattle a Super Bowl , run the damn ball !
No he didnt . pete called a run and wilson called an audible even former teamates have said it
If it worked we call it a genius play. Hindsight Harry’s are never on the field
@@Ccthomas-ks1hn the thing they expected a run too but we will never know we just have to move on and use that as our strength to avoid mistakes and know the right play for certain situations
