Well done Gareth, I really look forward to your videos as you show fishing as it should be, its about enjoying the whole day. I have to be honest and say the Knap never ever fished well for me but it still a great spot. Keep up the great work and all the best. Looking forward to the next one.
Thank you Rob, appreciated as always. Yeah that's it, I always enjoy it regardless and if the fish show up, it's a nice bonus. Ha you and me both, I've had many a bad session at the Knap, although it's a nice easy mark with parking nearby, so I don't mind giving it a go every now and then. Cheers as always, have a good weekend,👍👍
Just blanked down there fished the tides in and out nothing this video is spot on tight lines everyone watching like the main man said “anything can happen at any time “ great words mate believe and achieve 👍🏻
Unlucky on the blank mate but well done for sticking it out. I've had many a bad session down at Goldcliff but yeah, I guess there's always that chance of something turning up. Cheers for watching, much appreciated 👍👍
I really enjoyed that one Gareth. What a difference it made when the sun went down. Plenty of fish to keep you busy, and that dog fish was a right donkey. It was huge. Awesome job mate, stay safe buddy👍👍🙏🙏🎣🎣
Thank you Dylan. Tough session that was, the Knap can be a difficult nut to crack but thankfully a few fish turned up when it got dark, can always rely on the doggies to keep you busy ha! The fishing is hard work up here at the moment, bits and pieces but that's about it, will hopefully pick up soon. Cheers bud, enjoy your Sunday 👍👍🙏
Cheers Gareth ... Nice looking mark great just to get out somewhere like that catching the odd fish is just a bonus hope all’s well with you, thanks for sharing, take care 👍🎣🎣
Thank you Stephen. Yeah it's a nice easy mark in fairness and can produce some good fish on its day, although it can be inconsistent. Just nice getting out as you say, that's what it's all about. I'm good thanks mate, hope you are too. Have a good weekend 👍👍
Back in the day we never had much success at the Knap so it became a spot we went to less and less. From your shots, it certainly looks a lot different now. Some day I will have to take a drive to some of the old haunts and spark up a few old memories and laughs we had along the way. Great to see some hard earned fish Gareth 👍
Thanks mate, a difficult session but thankfully a few fish turned up. I wasn't surprised to be honest given the north easterly blow. I've not a huge fan of the Knap although I have had some nice fish down there over the years, can be good on its day. Yeah you should do that, will be nice to look at the places you used to fish, those memories will soon come flooding back! Cheers as always, have a good weekend 👍👍
I do love the Knapp , a pack of mackerel and fish venue , dogs and whiting were the rely on species , in the early 90s and a few extra yards the rays and hound started coming . A nice easy one to fish and pleasing to the eye and mind . Tight lines mate
Another great video, nice to see it being fished over low water, I think this beach is underrated as a low water mark especially for bass & rays, I keep promising myself a trip back one day…cheers👍🙂
Thanks mate, much appreciated. Yes definitely, over low water on its day it does produce some cracking fish. I need to fish it more often and moving forward, I think I will. Hope you catch a few when you make that return trip. Cheers for watching, enjoy the weekend 👍👍
The knap is like that hit one day nothing but a cold to go home with the next.its well known that easterly wind is a heart breaker. Nice doggies. Good vid mate. Always watch your vids buttie.
Thank you Dean. Ah yes, I've had many a blank down at The Knap ha, funny place isn't it. I've had my better sessions down there during the night. Cheers as always, take care 👍
Thank you Wayne, appreciated as always. A difficult session but still enjoyable and was good to see a few fish at the end. The fishing has gone quiet locally but hopefully it will pick up soon. Cheers 👍👍
Great video at a lovely mark, I fish a very similar looking beach at South West Scotland when I travel up there, sand with the small stones/boulders up the beach making for a very deep mark at high water and a go to mark for the hounds as well as other species such as Gurnard, Bass, Flatties, Doggies and Mackrell when they are in. Due a trip up there in July so watching this video has wet my appetite to make plans. Thanks for another great video Gar🎣🎣👍
Thank you David. Yes the Knap is a pretty place although it can be a funny mark in that it can fish great the one day and poor the next. In saying that, it can produce a number of species, particularly during the night time, all sorts turn up. The beach at South West Scotland sounds great and no doubt you'll get a few fish when you visit in July! Cheers for watching 👍👍
Another good watch, I used to enjoy the nap , always rely on the doggies😅, I had a 14lb cod off there about 20 years ago , Look forward to the next one 👍👍👍👍
Thanks Neil , appreciated as always. A 14lb Cod, that's a cracking fish, wouldn't mind catching one like that this winter! Ha yes, the doggies often come to the rescue, they were keeping me busy when it got dark and were keeping me warm too! Cheers for watching 👍👍
Another well presented video as always mate its lovely to see the scenery and background where yiur fishing...the knap can be hard fishing sometimes gareth mate but well done on sticking it out.and getting a few fish on camera....I look forward to watching your next video keep up the good work have a lovely weekend mate
Cheers Nathan, pleased to hear you enjoy the scenery shots. Yes you're right there, I've had many a tough session down the Knap over the years, my good sessions there have been few and far between, I'll keep plugging away though ha! A tough session but enjoyable all the same, the doggies were keeping the rod tips busy and they were keeping me warm, that north easterly wind was cold. Same to you mate, enjoy it! 👍👍
Enjoying the videos Gareth glad to see you still at it. Never fished the Knap myself . I look forward to seeing your videos , you inspire me and I can relate to almost everything you do. You're very much similar to myself. Cheers 🍻
Thank you Martin, nice of you to say, pleased to hear that you're enjoying the videos. Yeah give the Knap a go when you get chance, it can be a bit up and down but on its day it does produce some nice fish. This was a tricky session but I just about managed to beat the blank ha! Cheers for watching, have a good weekend 👍👍
Nice to see you again Gareth. Went fishing couple of nights ago, it snowed froze my cod's off, couple of small bites no joy. Love vids, all the best from south west Wales 👍
Shame you blanked bud but at least you gave it a go. I was expecting a blank at the Knap to be honest but thankfully a few fish turned up. Gone quiet up this way, hopefully it will pick up doon. Cheers as always, have a good week 👍👍
Not a bad session there Gareth. Persistence has its rewards. Must be starting to get a bit chilly there now and obviously getting dark quite early. It's the opposite here at the moment. Look forward to your next outing.
Thanks David. A tough session, although given the north easterly winds, I wasn't that surprised. Managed a few in the end though and it was good fun, can always rely on the Doggies ha! Yeah it's getting cold now, very frosty and cold at the moment with a little dusting of snow. Hope all is good with you, have a good weekend 👍👍
Thanks Leighton. A tough session that was, cold too! I just about managed to beat the blank, the doggies came to the rescue ha! I struggled to get decent footage of barrybados that day as it was so dark but it didn't look too bad in the end. Cheers as always, enjoy the weekend 👍👍
Hi gateth you ok pal, cheers for the watch again i enjoyed as the usual. It was the same on the humber in the 70's n 80's almost guarnteed a cod every session. It has been frozen solid up here for a week now, the problem we got is the fog ,the sun does not breakfrew n then it sets n just freezes over again. I go fishing on my electric mountain bike but its too dodgy at the min with all my kit. Well done on your large dog n other specis. It was my 50th on wed so i now join the 50club. All the best from GRIMSBY.
Hiya Carl, I'm good thanks mate, hope you are too. Great days weren't they, as you say it was good Cod every time, the Whiting were huge too. I don't think we'll see fishing like that again but I hope I'm wrong. Hopefully that fog will ease soon and then you can wet a line again. Same down here, frost and snow and it doesn't want to thaw. Happy belated 50th, hope you had a good one. I'm not that far behind you, few years and I'll be joining the 50 club ha! Cheers as always, have a good week bud 👍👍
Time for a Knap 😂 think thats what the fish were doing for the first half 🤣🤣 awesome vid as always buddy, some fish n wet lines, stay safe brother see you on the rocks ✌✌
Haha you're right there Matt, they certainly weren't interested in my bait, that's for sure! Thankfully a few fish turned up towards the end and the Doggies were keeping me busy! Hope all is good with you, looking forward to your next video. Cheers bud, take it easy 👍👍
Nice one Gareth , love having a beach to myself, I find even more mind freedom that way , complete isolation. totally ideal. Appreciate your efforts bud 🎣🐟👍🏼
Thanks mate. Yes I know what you mean, I'm the same. I've turned up at beaches before that have been crowded and I've gone somewhere else as I like my space, I've always been the same. Cheers as always, have a good week 👍👍.
Thank you Nigel. A difficult session that, although I wasn't surprised to be honest. A cold day but thankfully the Doggies kept me warm when it got dark ha! Hope you're well mate, enjoy the weekend 👍👍
Thanks Gareth, nice vid as ususl, lost count how many times i snuggled down in them pebbles and fell asleep woke up with a whiting on. I used to call it sleepy bay coz the pebble noise would rock me to sleep, omly ever had whiting and pout. Remember a huge pout that i took and fried up in a butty, bloody delicous better than a fish finger butty Had a small 5lb tuna this week think it might of escaped from the locsl farm, they have 3 rings in a locsl bay farming Tuna,Bream and Bass, only trouble is the feef they give them makes a terrible slimey mess to the local water. Keep well en joy crimbo mate till the next time greeting,s from Malta
Thank you Michael, appreciated as always. Ha yeah, I know exactly what you mean, the sound those pebbles make is very therapeutic and when the fishing is quiet, it would be easy to drop off! You can't beat a bit of fresh Pouting, a great tasting fish, I sometimes shallow fry them in a beer batter. Well done on the Tuna, I bet that gave you a good scrap, I've never caught one but I can imagine they're very powerful! Cheers mate, same to you, enjoy it! 👍👍
Well done Gareth. Tough session but at least you caught some fish. Great scenery shots mate. Brilliant video as always. Look forward to the next one 😃👍
Thank you Neil. Yeah a tough session that was but thankfully the doggies came to the rescue, they often save the day ha! Cold day too, the north easterly was unforgiving, although when the rain came later on it got milder. Cheers as always, much appreciated 👍👍
Thanks Mark, I'll bear that in mind. It seems that the English side is fishing much better than over here at the moment, a lot of my local marks are just not producing but hopefully things will pick up soon. Cheers for watching, have a good weekend 👍👍
That's right mate, will hopefully have some better luck on the next one, I'll keep the faith ha! No doubt I'll bump into you at some point, it's on the cards! Thank you for watching, enjoy the weekend 👍👍
Thanks Ian, pleased to hear you're enjoying the videos, hopefully more to come soon, will try and find the time. This was a tricky session but the Dogfish kept me warm towards the end ha! Cheers for watching 👍👍
Thank you Peter. Yes I couldn't agree more, great the one day and very poor the next, up and down like a yo-yo. Thankfully the Doggies came to the rescue ha! Cheers for watching, enjoy the weekend 👍👍
Thanks. Took me back to my childhood in Barry 60 years ago. We rarely saw rays like they catch these days. Occasional angel Shark and stingray in the old harbour. But the mullet off those rocks were fantastic fun in summer. Cod from the rocks at the end (school nights especially) was winter fare.
You're welcome mate. Sounds like you have some great memories of fishing down there. Yeah it's strange catching rays down there now, like you I never heard of many being caught when I was a kid back in the 80's. Yes those Mullet are great fun, I saw some close in when I fished Friars point a couple of months ago and there was a guy fishing for them. I sometimes fish for them on the tidal stretch of the River Usk in Newport. Cheers for watching 👍👍
That's it mate and he wasn't wrong ha! I can't ever remember having a good session on an easterly, funny old wind. Cheers as always, enjoy the weekend 👍👍
Thank you Johnny, appreciated as always. It was certainly a cold one, that north easterly was bitter at times but the slipping and sliding on the pebbles kept me warm ha! Cheers, have a good weekend 👍👍
Thank you Geraint, much appreciated. A tough session but I still enjoyed it and just about managed to beat the blank ha! Cheers, have a good weekend 👍👍
another great vid gareth as always . sadly my fishing on hold for a period as i lost my dad on tues morning and i know you loved that expierience of fishing with your late dad and i will feel that sad loss now going to the coast in the future without my dad at my side enjoying fishing to the max take care gareth
I'm very sorry to hear that mate, I appreciate how difficult it must be for you right now. I lost my dad in 2018 and initially I found it difficult going fishing as he was no longer there, although time does heal and it became easier. I still get my moments but generally speaking I'm ok with it now. I enjoy talking about dad in my videos as it keeps those memories alive and makes me feel better. You'll get there too, just take your time and you'll know when the time is right. Take it easy.
Another top quality video gareth, I personally love the knap as it can throw up all sorts, every tide is different as you well know. Keep posting these fantastic videos bud and have a cracking Christmas 👍👍
Thanks Yolo, appreciated as always. A difficult session but the Doggies kept the rod tips busy ha! Yes I agree, anything can turn up and it's a great mark on its day. I've not had the best of luck down there but that's probably because I haven't fished it enough, although going forward I'll fish it more often. Cheers mate, you too, enjoy it! 👍👍
A bad days fishing is still better than a good day at work 😂. Still a decent result for your efforts though Gareth. Personally I love the humble doggy, saved many a blank session for me. I was impressed by your optimism there, I think I would have packed it in a long time before you did.
Spot on Wayne, I agree with that ha! Yeah a tough session but thankfully the Doggies turned up. Me too, they often come to the rescue when it comes to beating the blank and I think they're a pretty fish. They get a bad reputation but they keep the rods tips busy and that will do me! To be honest if I wasn't filming then I probably would have packed up earlier but I thought I'd try and get something on camera and so I stuck it out. Cheers as always, enjoy the weekend 👍👍
Always a great video mate, enjoyed as usual. I fished the knap last sunday and got myself another thorny 5lb 11oz. Ill email you a picture. Saw a few rays come off that day but I literally didnt have a bite all day and was just about to pack up 2 hours after high when my rod went. Made my day 😊
Thank you Scott, it was a tough session but still enjoyable. A cold day but the doggies kept me warm at the end ha! Well done on the Thorny, you seem to be doing well down there at the moment, better than me anyway! Ok no probs, I'll look forward to seeing the picture. I love the Thornbacks, such a pretty fish and the markings are always different, pre-historic looking. Cheers as always mate, have a good weekend 👍👍
I agree totally I haven't seen a pouting for years in fact a distant memory. But I love sea fishing for the reason of unexpected catches there's definitely a slight difference in species
Yes me too mate, you never know what could turn up and I guess that's the appealing factor. Yeah shame about the Pouting, wound be nice to see them again in good numbers. The last proper Pouting I caught was in my first Nell's Point video and it was a great sight, brought back some good memories. Cheers for watching, take it easy 👍👍
That was great! I love the emotional roller coaster of a tough session. It's the happiest form of frustration I know! That was a proper chunk of a doggie, or "Mumbles Marlin" as we used to call them. They've saved many a blank! Take care dude.
Thanks mate, appreciated as always. Yes I know what you mean, a tough session keeps you on your toes as the anticipation comes and goes. 'Mumbles Marlin'...ha, I like it, very good! It certainly was a chunk and to be honest, they were keeping the rod tips busy which I was happy about. Cheers for watching, have a good weekend 👍👍
Nice one Gazza nice little session in the end bud, totally agree with the north-east to be wind here in the Chepstow area and seven beach. Fishing has been hard going since that wind has changed to the north-east.but I did manage a nice 3lb cod of seven beach Friday night, love video as usual buddy,if we don’t see you before Christmas. Have a good one and Merry Christmas to you and your fam.
Thank you Ben. A tough session but thankfully the doggies came to the rescue, they often do ha! Cold day too, that north easterly wind was cutting right through me. Yes definitely, although I think the winds are swinging around from the end of the week and the fishing will hopefully improve then. Well done on the 3lb Cod, nice fish in fairness. I'm hoping to wet a line this week but it depends on work etc. Cheers mate, same to you and your family, have a good one! 👍👍
Thank you Spencer, much appreciated. Yeah they are pretty fish in fairness, no two are the same. They were keeping the rod tips busy in fairness, they often save the blank. Winter is certainly here, it's been a cold week so far. Cheers for watching, have a good weekend 👍👍
Cheers Tone, it was a tough session but I just about managed to beat the blank ha! All the best for tomorrow, no doubt you'll winkle a few out, you always do! Thanks mate, will look forward to your video, tight lines 👍👍
Well narrated Gareth some tidy footage there bud, as you say that's fishing eh. Thanks for sharing /a video a week would be great if you get the time matey, tight lines
Thank you Keith, appreciated as always. Yeah that was a tough session and the north easterly wind was cold! Thankfully the doggies were keeping me warm towards the end of the session, they usually come to the rescue ha! Hopefully more to come soon, cheers for watching 👍👍
Thanks Matt. To be honest as soon as I got out of the car I knew it would be a struggle ha! Still enjoyable though and the doggies kept me entertained! Same to you mate, have a good one! 👍👍
Thanks Darren. I'm ok thanks mate, hope you are too. A difficult session this one but stil enjoyable. The north easterly wind didn't help but thankfully a few fish turned up towards the end. Cheers as always, take it easy 👍👍
Good video,I’ve been out for the last two nights and nothing ,west aberthaw and east aberthaw,,as soon as you put the black coat on you start catching ,
Thanks Andrew. Shame you blanked down Aberthaw, the fishing locally is hard work at the moment, or so it seems anyway. Ha yes, the black coat always does the trick, will hopefully last another few years! Cheers for watching, enjoy the weekend 👍👍
Thanks mate, it was certainly a tough session, although I wasn't surprised with that north easterly. The doggies came to the rescue, can always rely on them ha! Cheers as always 👍👍
If your line is not wet You are not fishing, or as I like to call it blanking, keep up the good work, I am planning a trip over to Portobello beach some time hopefully soon.
Yes very true that Jim! Haha I wouldn't worry, I'm usually blanking these days, too busy faffing about with the camera! All the best at Portobello beach, hope you catch a few! Cheers for watching 👍👍
I'm like you Gareth i prefer the other side of barry as i've never had much luck on the Knap besides Doggies so i tended to fish Jacksons Bay side and towards Lavernock. Great video though buddy so glad you had some good fish, The Cod should start falling soon lol
Thank Kevin, pleased to hear you enjoyed the video. Yeah that's it, the other side of Barry always seems to produce something, whereas I've had many a bad session at The Knap ha! Well it would be nice to get a Cod or two this winter, I've only had one so far and that was the one down at Nell's point last month. Newport has gone really quiet of late, will hopefully pick up soon. Cheers as always, enjoy the weekend 👍👍
Well done, another great video mate. The knap is one of my least favourite marks sadly for all the reasons mentioned by you and the other viewers. On a positive note I was chatting to another angler at Goldcliff last week. He mentioned you and said he used to fish with you and your Dad! (I didn’t ask his name)…….apparently your Dad was quite a character!…..keep the vids coming. Thanks. Paul
Thank you Paul, appreciated as always. Yeah the Knap can be a tough nut to crack, you never quite know how it's going to fish. Ah right, that's interesting, I wonder who that was. Dad certainly was a character, he was always pranking people ha! He was a caretaker of a school and one time, he put a Cod head in the headmaster's pigeon hole hehe! Good times, good memories, he is missed by many. Cheers as always, enjoy the weekend 👍👍
Another Good video Gar, shame the bigger fish didn’t show, my PB conger comes from the knap at a smidge over 20lb and my late mate holds the Thornback ray record from there at 18lb 1
Thanks mate, appreciated as always. A 20lb Conger is a good fish in fairness, well done. My best was 18lb and that was at St Brides years ago. That's the thing with the Knap, can often throw up some lovely fish, bet your late mate was super chuffed with that Ray, good stuff! Cheers for watching 👍👍
Thanks Craig. Was a tough session that, I threw everything at it but thankfully the Doggies came to the rescue! My last video down there was a blank and so slightly better this time ha! Cheers for watching, enjoy the weekend 👍👍
That was tuesday I think Gareth (??) I went there wednesday an hour before low but changed my mind so didn't fish. Tried St Brides at 5 in the morning on thursday and had a blank, along with four others trying our luck.
Hi Gareth, yeah that was on Tuesday. A difficult session but thankfully the Doggies came to the rescue. Shame you blanked at St Brides, the fishing around Newport is really hard work at the moment. A friend of mine fished down Swansea last week and had over 20 good size whiting...that's what we used to get back in the day, such a shame they don't show up in good numbers anymore. I'll be heading a little further down the coast soon I think. Hope all is good with you, enjoy the weekend 👍👍
its a easy mark for us oldies but gareth is right its a hit a miss venue have only caught ray blondes and small eyed not much but then its just as bad as some of the marks on the english side
Hi Paul. Yes it can be a funny mark, up and down like a yo-yo. I've had some decent sessions down there but they have been few and far between. The fishing locally has gone really quiet...I had a pleasure session Friday evening and had one bite in 4 hours, hopefully it will pick up soon. Cheers as always 👍👍
Thank you Kevin. A tough session but still enjoyable. The doggies at the end came to the rescue, can always rely on them ha! I think the winds are swinging around towards the end of the week and so hopefully the fishing will improve. Cheers as always 👍👍

Hi Gareth your videos just keep going from strenght to strenght, another great watch. Thanks again pall
Thank you Wayne, appreciated as always. A difficult session but still enjoyable and was good to see a few fish at the end. The fishing has gone quiet locally but hopefully it will pick up soon. Cheers 👍👍

Nice one mate 👍 like you said fish a chuck when it was dark 🐟🐟🏴
Thanks Rich. Yeah that's it, always the way down there. Funny place, can be poor the one day and on fire the next. Cheers mate, have a good weekend 👍👍
@@keepgoing1973 ?
@@castersfishingwales2038 I just blocked him Matt...another gutless keyboard warrior I'm afraid, talking nonsense. Have a good week 👍
Another good watch Gareth,
Didn’t catch what you wanted I’m sure, but you beat the blank and got out and blew the cobwebs off lol
Nice one pal 👍
Thank you Nigel. A difficult session that, although I wasn't surprised to be honest. A cold day but thankfully the Doggies kept me warm when it got dark ha! Hope you're well mate, enjoy the weekend 👍👍
Thanks Gareth, nice vid as ususl, lost count how many times i snuggled down in them pebbles and fell asleep woke up with a whiting on.
I used to call it sleepy bay coz the pebble noise would rock me to sleep, omly ever had whiting and pout.
Remember a huge pout that i took and fried up in a butty, bloody delicous better than a fish finger butty
Had a small 5lb tuna this week think it might of escaped from the locsl farm, they have 3 rings in a locsl bay farming Tuna,Bream and Bass, only trouble is the feef they give them makes a terrible slimey mess to the local water.
Great video Gareth, beat the blank with a few fish, you enjoyed yourself, great stuff.
Thanks mate, hope all is good with you. A tough session that but I just about managed to winkle a few out. Cheers for watching, enjoy the weekend 👍👍
Beautiful filming mate,fantastic quality.
Thanks Nick, much appreciated. A difficult session but still enjoyable. Cheers for watching, enjoy the weekend 👍👍
Great video Gareth couple of fish beat the blank good job look forward to the next
Thank you Chad. A tough day that was but thankfully a few turned up and the doggies kept me busy ha! Hope all is good with you, enjoy the weekend 👍👍
Gareth on the English side I always do well with lug or crab or black at a push
But great video as always keep the faith and keep them coming!
Thanks Mark, I'll bear that in mind. It seems that the English side is fishing much better than over here at the moment, a lot of my local marks are just not producing but hopefully things will pick up soon. Cheers for watching, have a good weekend 👍👍
Gareth no 2 tides the same as we say. keep plugging away boyo hope to bump into you one day .keep those vids comeing
That's right mate, will hopefully have some better luck on the next one, I'll keep the faith ha! No doubt I'll bump into you at some point, it's on the cards! Thank you for watching, enjoy the weekend 👍👍
Always enjoy your videos Gareth Always interesting and informative and great to see you, hope you get to do your one a week 👍
Thanks Ian, pleased to hear you're enjoying the videos, hopefully more to come soon, will try and find the time. This was a tricky session but the Dogfish kept me warm towards the end ha! Cheers for watching 👍👍
well done gareth least you caught a few,a very frustrating venue is the knap
I think it was Issac Newton said when wind is in the East fish bite the least . Another great video from you. Tight lines
That's it mate and he wasn't wrong ha! I can't ever remember having a good session on an easterly, funny old wind. Cheers as always, enjoy the weekend 👍👍
Nice video Gareth... glad to see your well 👍
Thank you John. A difficult session but still enjoyable. I'm good thanks, hope you are too. Have a good weekend 👍👍
Thanks
Thank you Jon, appreciated as always! Hope all is good with you, cheers for watching 👍👍
Cheers Gareth! I could feel the cold there just watching this! 🤣 Glad you bet the blank! 🐟🐟🐟
Thank you Johnny, appreciated as always. It was certainly a cold one, that north easterly was bitter at times but the slipping and sliding on the pebbles kept me warm ha! Cheers, have a good weekend 👍👍
As always a cracking video great to be out nd some fish topman
@@riversidewithme thanks gareth for your kind words
Just as I was looking for something to watch, up you pop Gareth, at one of my favourite venues!
Hi Gareth, another great video. Always like the dog fish beautiful markings. You can tell winter is coming by the wind & dark skies. 🥶🥶
Thank you Spencer, much appreciated. Yeah they are pretty fish in fairness, no two are the same. They were keeping the rod tips busy in fairness, they often save the blank. Winter is certainly here, it's been a cold week so far. Cheers for watching, have a good weekend 👍👍
well done mate great video , im out in the morning "saturday" for a 8 hour session not sure where yet lol. take care gareth see you on the beach matey
Hopefully more to come soon, cheers for watching 👍👍
well presented video as always mate. I fished the knapp during those North easterly winds. always a nightmare. hope you have a great Christmas mate.
Thanks Matt. To be honest as soon as I got out of the car I knew it would be a struggle ha! Still enjoyable though and the doggies kept me entertained! Same to you mate, have a good one! 👍👍
Great to see you back on the screen Gar, hope you’re keeping well pal. Tight lines as always 🎣👍🏻
Enjoyed the video looked hard work but you got some in the end well done
Cheers as always, enjoy the weekend 👍👍
nice video bruv, you seem like a nice person.
Thank you Sandor, I appreciate it. Hopefully more videos to come soon. Cheers 👍👍
Another
Good video Gar, shame the bigger fish didn’t show, my PB conger comes from the knap at a smidge over 20lb and my late mate holds the Thornback ray record from there at 18lb 1
Another nice video
Thank you Gary. A tough session but still enjoyable. Hope all is good with you. Cheers mate 👍👍
It's on my list for the new year great video 🎣🎣
Thank you Michael much appreciated. Good luck for when you fish it, hope you catch a few! Cheers 👍👍
Nice one Gareth you did better than me there 🎣
Thanks Craig.
Don’t know if this will reach you
Have a good Christmas
You have brought a lot of happiness 👍👍👍👍👌👌👌👌
Thank you Matt, I appreciate that. Hopefully more to come in the new year with a bit of luck. Have a great Christmas, enjoy 👍👍🎄
Too video that ❤ sub from us here in jersey 😊😊
Thanks bud, appreciate it. Cheers for watching 👍👍
its a easy mark for us oldies but gareth is right its a hit a miss venue have only caught ray blondes and small eyed not much but then its just as bad as some of the marks on the english side
Another great video Gareth 👍
Thank you Kevin. A tough session but still enjoyable. The doggies at the end came to the rescue, can always rely on them ha! I think the winds are swinging around towards the end of the week and so hopefully the fishing will improve. Cheers as always 👍👍
