I'm no expert but some marks you could try are Friars Point in Barry, The Knap (pebble beach) in Barry, Ogmore Deeps which is close to Porthcawl and Porthcawl Pier itself. There are loads of marks but the ones I have mentioned are accessible and fairly straightforward. Good luck 👍

It's called Outfall Lane, there's only a couple of parking areas towards the end of the lane. Then you continue walking up onto the seawall. If you want easier parking and don't mind a longer walk, you can park in the free council carpark next to the Lighthouse Inn (now closed), walk up the steps in front of you and go right, takes approximately 15 minutes or you can just fish right next to where you park, big area to choose from. Thank you Colin, much appreciated. I try to keep it real, showing the good and the bad, hence the blanks on my channel ha! I can't rely on the fish so much these days as there's not so many about and therefore I tend to focus on the deeper side of angling (I caught more fish when I was 10 than I do now). I'd love to fish West Wales more often, although most of those marks is a 5 to 6 hour round trip for me and with working full-time etc I don't get many chances to head that way.
