Great to see Ritesh smiling all the time. Can everybody in the room cheer up as well? (It feels like I'm watching the L1 interview round for an entry-level position at my company - my panelists also wear the exact same expression while grilling the poor candidate.)
@@wth12345Come on buddy, you get what you paid for. Nobody goes with Oyo unless you're on a budget and you consequently often have to deal with cancelations, hotels asking you for extra money on check-in, dirty rooms and poor customer support. But hey, atleast you got a cheap room to spend the night in. 😅
Oyo has once cheated me Rs.800(on discounted rate) has never refunds me the money back after Hotel owner refused me to let the room because of high discount given by oyo. Really Ritesh that's one of the crazy experience of mine with Oyo. That's just disgusting
I booked a room through other such website, but it was Ono registered too. Made a big mistake, it was unclean, I arrived at 11 in the night, had important meeting at 8 in the morning. So I didn’t bother to book another one which was few kms away. That’s the only time I have been in oyo room. It was a big mistake.
If Ritesh had listened to Masoyashi about appointing an OYO representative at the reception, we wouldn't be encountering this recurring problem of price discrepancies between the OYO app and the actual cost. Even after booking through OYO, hotels often demand additional payment upon arrival, which significantly detracts from our overall experience.
Nikesh Arora who Ritesh mentioned has himself very rough relationship with Softbank. He made his bucks as big ass salary from Softbank while creating zero value (his investments fall flat) for softbank's stakeholders.
Masayoshi Son is the guy who blew billions of dollars through his stupid vision fund. His “grand vision” about companies like “WeWork” was a disaster and will be cautionary tale that will be analyzed in future business studies.

Ritesh I am listening to your speech from tomorrow , u inspired me . 16th k cr networth 😮 , youngest billionaire college dropout. Even though I have one idea I want to build a business like you . Can nikhil or you guide me building a mine business. Genuinely I need help to solve problems with my ideas .I am doing work in an adani company as a civil engineer. I don't have any idea how to start an entrepreneurial journey. But I assure you as you help me I will definitely give effort. I live in Mumbai chawl on rent. Earning a little bit , my father is having a betal shop . Ritesh & you (nikhil ) always inspire me . I have a dream to create a startup like you . I want to be wealthier. Kindly support me 🙏
Gonna be honest with you, no one's there for you. You have to start your own thing with your own efforts and research. I am kind of in the same stage as of you. I tried starting several things but one thing that always restricted me is capital and connections. But I think I have done enough research on businesses to give you some insights. To solve a problem( which most of the startups do, some pretend to) you should ask yourself are you the right guy to solve the problem. For example if you don't have enough knowledge about medical sciences and computer science, you can't start a med-tech startup. Another parameter is capital, you need to ask yourself do you have the required capital to start your thing. And if you have checked all the boxes, DONT WAIT, start working your startup now.
Bro, just get yourself registered with CPWD under class V and start working as contractor once registration complete. Job can not change your financial status.

Oyo quotes price that hotel owner doesn’t agree with. They have horrible customer service which disconnects after 2 mins and u have to tell your problem to the next rep again. Oyo is the worst possible startup ever. It solves no problem and creates only frustration

😂 this is not the place to complaint boss..
Exactly ... I don't understand how people are expecting Ritesh to read this and return them their 800, 900 rupees 🤣

Masayoshi Son lost the plot

You must be successful investor always commenting in hindsight

His ARM investment makes up for all of his failures now. In the VC world you just need 1 huge success among the ocean of failures

The wins far outweigh the losses. That is the game and he can and has (son) pulled it off
pls do not keep making hmm sounds when person is talking. really distracting. content was great
That sound makes the guy speaking gives a feeling he is being listened to
Few times hmm is okay, but using it lot of times is irritating
Good stuff @nikhil, loved how you poured the water and made sure everyone’s hydrated
I wish this episode was longer and had the entire interview of Ritesh Agarwal; I am a huge fan of Ritesh.
Why is the table tilted? Because the water in the glasses are inclined at an angle!
It’s not tilted. Table is having an acne breakout
It's just a glitch in the Matrix...
wtf fund link not available in description
Again a very nice episode , specially the good that rites us Jared about advice from Son san.
Very good podcast
@nikhil bro you are so big ! You don’t need to do that short video in the end! But the fact that you did the short last vid in the end ! I love it
Masayoshi Son has given such precise feedbacks for a business like OYO.
And if you experience OYO, you'll realise OYO is failing at all of the points.
nice answer, but Nikhil Kamath plz stop mm,mm after every 5 second

Why is Nikhil even doing these podcasts? He looks the least interested out of all. Doing random 'hmms' every now and then never helps.
Counting how many times Ritesh used 'I think'.🤔
Great content, can totally avoid the “hmmm”s, they are really off putting.
Nikhil isn't asking crucial questions to Ritesh... Oyo is one of the dubious companies I know having used it's services..
Dubious as if?
Dubious as if you book a hotel somewhere , when go there to occupy there is no accommodation available in the Oyo hotels
Oyo quotes price that hotel owner doesn’t agree with. They have horrible customer service which disconnects after 2 mins and u have to tell your problem to the next rep again. Oyo is the worst possible startup ever. It solves no problem and creates only frustration
