The best place to buy in the area of Concho is actually outside Snowflake, some lots have been grandfathered in to accept any building without being inspected or being code compliant as long as the easements of the property are followed and they are located in Navajo County, building codes have to be followed in Apache County where Concho is located.
Looking for a change in my life and found some land in Concho that I want to buy in to however like you said they have all the clause fear factors about tiny homes or RV living off gridders, restrictions etc..I’ve lived off grid in my younger days in Maine and it was ultimate challenge … now a single 64 year old woman and no kids in tow I’m looking to leave Maine and go where winters are not so harsh. Am I wrong in thinking I’ll be met with restrictions and ordinances that could possibly make it impossible to establish my land if I invest in 10 acres in Conch? I just want to live peacefully the remainder of my years and have have a few garden pots and live free as possible from human made constraints if I buy the land. And I’m am in no way talking that I’m hippie puke as some call it but do have many unique skills for building
Hello Alma and family, I've been watching your videos and did buy property in Honcho last year. I'll start building in the spring and for now living in my tiny house on wheels. I used to build nuke plants and high rises and I'm a mechanical engineer who has devoted my cute to building every off the grid power supply and intensive agriculture possible. I'm looking forward to meeting you at some point, but for now flying under the radar with my life. I intend to give free seminars to show people how to live within their means and become self-sufficent and reliant. It will all take place this summer. Thanks for your videos and good luck with your lifestyle.
I bought an acre plus, in Concho recently but not as cheaply as you did your 2 acres. But the thing I like about it, is the area I bought into is fairly isolated. I just found you all and subbed you. Thanks for the video :)
@@UndocumentedHuman I don't know anyone at the moment looking for land. I was fortunate enough though, that I got an adjacent 1.04 acres, from the same seller, for a little bit less money, about 6 months ago. The seller said that the demand for land is increasing, so I am thankful that I snagged mine when I did. And restrictions on building or placing an RV is virtually non-existant.
I AM THINKING OF BUYING LAND AROUND CONCO OR VERNON, dang caps anyway, lol, would be nice to get to know some locals in the area, will try to contact you in late spring or early summer, thank you for video
Hi Humans, I found your channel awhile back and been watching as you travel about. I bought land in Concho two years ago on the internet and building off grid on it since. It's near the post office and I had hoped to meet you at some point, but i see you've settled for Snowflake. I had a bad feeling about that place so i only go to Poncho Villas junk yard and Wally mart when I'm there. I'm a mechanical engineer and building the most green houses and vehicles possible. I'm just getting started not long ago but one day at a time and I'm in no hurry. Keep up the great videos and take good care of your family.
Very nice video Alma! You guys are doing some awesome work! I really appreciate it. You are making the world a more beautiful place. Keep it up! Cheers! :-)
Alma, are the people at byexample.com still doing a website and off grid workshops and such? I went to the page and saw their newsletter stopped in 2010. Are they even still out Concho way? I have land there and really like their website with all of the wonderful info of growing your own food and farming.
Ignoring the definitions of Fiat & Taxation to be found in multiple dictionaries, and the ideas of Jury Nullification & Local Populations Voting for the Laws which govern themselves (the Peelian Principle) for now ...it is interesting to note the Justification used by certain Statists, specifically "Just doing my job" - for which they cling to to "survive" financially, when in retrospect, it would indeed free them from those financial obligations if they themselves simply went "offgrid", since they would literally not need a job (and most likely be healthier & happier from homesteading activities) ...just thought I'd point that out =-)
We are looking at an off grid home and land in Concho. Our family is looking to put the rat race and city life of California behind us and enjoy all the earth has to offer. I admire your life and ideals. We are a family with a 16 month old child who share many of the same common law and ideals as you speak about. We are searching for a place where we can live free of forced vaccinations and forced debt. We are in the process of selling our home and hope to enjoy the same lifestyle and freedoms we are entitled to in America. Hope to share ideals with others like you. Very appreciated for your videos and courage. Bless! Bitcoin is off the charts right now.
That's when you get a civil rights lawyer and Sue the living s*** out of never been on probation in my life until I moved here I was here for three months but there's a saying come here on vacation leave on probation like she said it's a money-making thing could we live in one of the poorest counties in Arizona so they have to make money somehow so they put people in jail or on probation and make a lot of money doing that and forget about the public defender they will just play it down and drag it out so you still have to pay money it's sad
So true and now they are arresting people without charging them for dui’s. Stealing their blood with a warrant from Maricopa county. 🙄 People must challenge Jurisdiction. Cause now you have to wait up to seven months for your blood test to come back. Correct me if the time is wrong. But they can charge you at any time. So you sit around and wonder for almost a year quite possibly, or you are going to have to go to jail, or court, or pay fines, or hire a lawyer. It’s sick. #decriminalize
