The Electrolux machines are very well engineered and built. Once they’re dialed in, you should be golden. Get whoever you bought those from to follow up on the sale and get those machines working. Good luck. I’m a Danny D’Angelo fan too and I hope he was able to help you.
Please know that I am rooting for you, man. I really want you to succeed especially since I am on the same path as you. Your videos provide GREAT insight into the traps that are ahead of me. One thing I want to mention about Danny's training is he says *do not get a laundromat unless you can figure out why it is failing (or failed) in the first place*. In my scouting, I found a terrible laundromat (smells and has spray painting on the walls). However, it is in a fantastic location! It's in a very high traffic area with a Dollar General, McDonalds, and Food Lion. All great stores for the demographic operators look for. Why is the store a complete disaster? It has NO parking. All the parking spaces in front of it are full with other customers. This is killing the laundromat for the current operator. If can't solve parking, then I'm not going to pursue this laundromat. In your situation, the mega-chain store killed the previous operator over a year ago. You did not know this so you signed a lease and are facing the same tough competitor the previous operator faced. And, with his equipment already paid off, it's going to be extremely tough to match his pricing and remain profitable. You didn't solve the failure of the previous operator. I hate to throw good money into a bad situation; however, the only suggestion I have is to switch to card and do half-price Wednesdays where this price is *slightly* less than his. And, you will have to get flyers out to market the heck out of Wednesdays. In full honesty, I do not know if this will work so take this idea with a huge grain of salt. Good luck, bro!
I appreciate that. Yes I do believe that every problem has a solution. This business doesn't require a lot of intelligence but it does require you to be a problem solver. I hope you do get a laundromat that's successful! It sounds like you've been doing your homework🙏🏼
Yea, but 2 weeks ago he was complaining about how Danny lead him astray with his course, how he was not even close to opening, he posted an hour long conversation with Danny… then all of a sudden he opened!
Claudio, you and I have VERY similar positions. I've also just finished Danny's course and plan on opening a laundromat very soon. I really appreciate all your videos and I feel like I've been there with you and your progress. Quick question, how much did you spend on electrical and plumbing for that building?
The electrical was about 2k. That was for paying an electrician to collect the machines up. The plumbing ran me about 6k. But that was because I chose the trench drain. I could of kept the old PVC system and avoided that cost.
@@justinvestclaudio WOW! You must have taken over an already very updated store. My closed down laundromat is being quoted at 60k for plumbing and 20k in electrical. I'm told everything is outdated and must be renovated.
@@meisworld1427 My advice would would be to get multiple quotes. Talk with your distributor and see if the store really does need to be upgraded. Can I ask, who told you that you need an upgrade?
Contact your distributor to work out the kinks. It will be under warranty. Do a soft opening for 1 month and do some marketing to get people in the store. Don’t drop your prices. Keep them the same cleanliness of the store, new machines and performance of the new machines will keep customers coming back. You’re gonna kill it.
The distributor will give you projections at what you can price your machines at and what to expect off 3 turns per day. 3 turns is the general consensus of what average is. All that's is good and fine but one of the mistakes I made was not looking at my nearest competitors price. He prices his washes way below what is considered average. His whole game is volume. Now the other guys around me are priced at reasonable prices. Long story short, I wasn't worried about his price because I knew that I could provide everything else better... But his prices are so low, that all the other stuff might not matter to the community. Lesson here is, it's very hard to beat cheap.
Glad to see you got the store up and running. Now let's get that place packed with clients. 👍

The distributor should be hooking me up with a technician soon. Thanks I appreciate the support 🙂

I don't know how I stumbled on your first videos but I'm glad I can watch along as your business grows. Good luck man!
I'm not sure either but I'm glad you're here! 😄 Thanks for the support
LETS GOOOOO LAUNDROMAT IS LOOKING FRESH AND CLEAN BABY!! CONGRATULATIONS!!! Now you got to market the bad boy lol
Oh, we gonna be marketing hardcore brother! 😀 Lets go!
Let me know if there is any way to get in contact with you brother! I would love to learn from you!@@justinvestclaudio
Congratulations!!! 🍾🎉🎊🎈
Thank you!
I’d love to stop by your store next time I’m in Houston just to check it out.
Feel free to stop by anytime ☺️
Congrats on the opening , I’m in the ATM business , and ready to make a move in the laundromat game !
Thanks! I'm actually looking to get an ATM one of these days for the laundromat.
I’m glad Danny got you opened!
Danny didn’t get him open. He opened himself. He only did the course not the consulting.
Yea, but 2 weeks ago he was complaining about how Danny lead him astray with his course, how he was not even close to opening, he posted an hour long conversation with Danny… then all of a sudden he opened!
I said that it was not free. And it was not free. Where was I complaining?
Also if you watched that call Danny says himself that we never talked. So I got the mat opened by myself but nice try
Oh my bad I’m only loosely following. I thought you talked to Danny on the phone! I’m glad your open
Congrats 👏, I was following your videos and your struggle and I am really happy for you brother!
Thank you! It for sure has been a long road but nothing good comes easy. 🙂
Claudio, I was looking forward to having an update from you. How was your first Sunday? Everything going well? Progress report please
I did a quarter collecting video but I'm not happy with the quality of the video. I'll post an update this weekend.
Just remember don’t expect them to show up the day they say they will. It’s the same with every brand
I'll keep that in mind ☺️

Claudio what sizes washers did you end up getting?
I have 20, 40 and 65. The biggest machine that Electrolux makes is 65.
@@justinvestclaudio good to know thank you.

This was the exact game plan bro✊🏼 Appreciate the support!
I want to be like you one day! Great job and you will succeed! 🎉
Thank you! We BOTH will succeed ✊🏼
I have been in every laundromat in my town. If I see one I'm stopping in. How did you set your pricing without going to locals stores?

Them price sound like they from the 80's and 90's to be honest.
Completely agree. They could double their prices and still be very profitable.
So your open but have no running water? I hope the dryers are working.
We have water. The machine that was acting up, the valve leading to it was stuck partially closed. So the washer wasn't getting enough water.
Congrats
