This paved the way for what European Golf is now, from 1985 we had 1987, 1989, 1995, 1997, 2002, 2004, 2006, 2010, 2012, 2013, 2018 and 2023. All Ryder Cup victories and I am proud of EACH AND EVERY ONE!!
This was the first Ryder cup i ever saw i was 14 at the time it was amazing for Europe to win the Ryder cup. For me the Ryder cup is up there in terms as one of the great team sports there can be alongside a football cricket or Rugby world cup or olympic games
@@richardandrews5972 agree. The Ryder Cup is so intense, so passionate, it has got to be very tribal now with fans of both sides booing the ooposition. Almost like a football derby in a way.

I started watching in 1983. This must be one of the greatest ever Ryder Cups. Whatever happened to Paul Way.
I remember watching it Live as a 10 year old
Brilliant times, real legends around then, on both sides. Great matches. The sound of Langers strike with a 4 iron when he nearly holes it....magic! 🎉
When Torrance put jacklin on his shoulders , that looked very dodgy , Paul way was concerned , that would’ve been a bad ending
