As you know I have the Marcy tree…definitely can use minor upgrades like my storage horns get thicker towards the attachment point-meaning I can’t slide my fringe plates fully on. They kinda get stuck in the middle of the horn. But it works great as an accessory storage unit. Hang my belts, towels, gloves, wraps and collars on it. Still a great value! Looking forward to buying more plates soon-will need another tree, BOS here I come!!!
I agree, like we said in the video, the Marcy product isn't bad. We still have ours. The Bells of Steel tree is just a definite upgrade and we can see the reasons for the dramatic difference in price! I still would be fine with starting with the Marcy if I was on a budget because it ultimately did get all of our bumper plates off of the floor like we wanted.
I’m glad Carp asked us to do it! I think reviews are much better when they are in response to an actual audience request so we’re giving people what they want instead of what we think they should have!
Between the beefier construction, increased weight capacity, better support for bar storage, and the ease with which it rolls, this definitely justifies the jump in price. Great comparison of two options that really satisfy two different levels of need.
Thanks for the info on the plate tree, plates, and BOS. I like those plates (especially the pink ones). I do like the mayhem ones too, but they are way too expensive to justify purchasing them. Hopefully by the time I'm ready to build, I can find some plates that are cute, functional, and not too costly. Initially, I was thinking of getting the FT2 functional trainer bc of the smith machine. But, now I'm thinking of the Vesta Pro balanced. Great video.
You’re welcome! The plate tree is Bells of Steel but the pink plates that we like the most are from RitFit. They are holding up much better than our Pink Flamingo plates from Fringe Sport. Thank you for watching!

Appreciate the in depth look at our weight tree! Thanks for sharing, John and Naomi!
Glad you liked it!
love these type of reviews on storage! Not enough are done! Definitely the beefier the better 😇

Also, record time from question to video response 😂
We do what we can 🤣🤣🤣
Perfect way to describe the difference between the two!

That thing is ginormous 😮😮. Lol at all that left over space. 😮😮
That’s where we’re installing the alligator pit. Save money on security cameras that way
I like that it’s a lot beefier. Nice shirt, better review!
We tried to get it done for you as fast as we could!
@ if I upgrade to a new rolling one, it’s probably gonna be this one
@carps_gym 💪
The space, me, is very noticeable. That extra room could prevent accidents.
@@CharlieBsr you say that but I plan to use that extra space for a Slip n Slide-trampoline combo 🤣
@GarageGymLifeMedia 🤣🤣🤣
The look in her eyes. It's almost like she was looking at D'Resmond 😅
@@CharlieBsr D’Resmond has been relocated to a hut in the backyard. No central heat or air and no indoor plumbing 🤣
@GarageGymLifeMedia 💀💀💀🤣🤣🤣🤣
Got a little mailbox outside and everything so you can write to him 🤣🤣🤣
