About our views on Oikawa : He's genuinely one of the best written characters in the series and most of us have a love- hate relationship with him. I mean its impossible not to like him, come on.
The comments made on Asahi when they were walking into the venue were just rumours based on his appearance- he looks a lot older than he is and he hasn’t been held back. The situations that came first were fabrications- whereas the second situations were what actually happened. Also can I just say I’m so hyped for you to get to the later seasons, the growth is impeccable 😌✨
You've mentioned of "what-if's" of additional series that would include more insides of Nekoma & Kenma - there are such ones - these are called OVA series - in the further seasons there are some OVA's that explains the Nekoma more, also they are mostly around the Kenma, so we get to understand him more - you deifnitely should watch it (in future, when you will be up-to-date with whole series, as they are based near the 3rd and 4th seasons)

Victoria: **talks about how cool it would be if haikyuu characters were actually casted as actors** Me: **remembers the Haikyuu live Action** Also me: **starts fangirling over how awesome the actors are** ^I simp for Oikawa's live action actor so much 😅😆
Victoria: *talk about Tsukki being too sour* Well, it's all because of him being a sour that's why we, haikyuu fandom called him "saltyshima" short for salty Tsukishima.
Its funny how Vic talk about Tsuki like they were a "thing", and she complains how their relationship falling apart between them as Tsuki hardly there anymore/"hes a changed man, you're not the Tsuki I once adore". lol😂
@@lh2293 yup, i've seen all the ep/season up to date. Tsuki haven't really "fall in love" with volleyball. By the time he did, Vic will fall for him all over again😂
Honestly, I love that you refer to Karasuno as “us” and “our” I think we all started it at some point watching the show😂it just came naturally And about the thing about different perspectives in shows and movies and so on, I’m thinking about that so often, but in Haikyuu it’s like at some point you will probably start not only hoping for Karasuno to win but also for the other teams because the characters and backgrounds and everything is just so well portrayed that you will end up asking the universe why there can only be one winner - or I’m the only one, also a possibility 😂😂 Edit: The English voices really don’t fit the characters in my opinion. But, I don’t know, not just in the I’m used to other voices kind of way but in the the voices just don’t fit their personalities kind of way. Does that make sense?😂 No hate on the VAs of course💗 Edit 2: Sorry, that comment just gets longer and longer😂 but with the movie cast you remembered me of the Haikyuu Stage Play which is soooooo good! I love it and it would be so cool if you reacted to these, too!! The actors are also so on point! 🥰❤️ Edit 3: Well, about Oikawa, you will find many people who love him but also people who hate him. In my opinion he is a pretty realistic and authentic character with flaws and insecurities that many people have to face and deal with. And also much skill for which he worked hard and a great character set up.

I remember seeing somewhere that the author said Oikawa and Kiyoko are the hardest characters to draw because of their good looks. Honestly at first I didn’t like Oikawa because he seemed too self-centred but now he’s one of my favourite characters along with Kuroo (and Bokuto and Tendō who you haven’t met yet). Oikawa is such a great character because he’s well aware of the strengths and weaknesses not only of himself, but also the rest of his team, and I think he can really bring out the best in people which you’ll see more in season 2. Honestly he really shines in season 2 and that’s definitely the time you’ll start to like him more.
About Oikawa.. everyone respect him after they watch the show. Maybe not all of us love him, that's taste, BUT we all RESPECT HIM. Trust me, and you will love this show even more that you can imagine
That last shot of Hinata falling gracefully after spiking is so badass. Also I just REALLY hope you don't get spoiled Victoria. So much of this show is hype and tension when it comes to the tournament games. Knowing who wins or who does what takes the bite out of it a bit. Be careful with the comment section!

The ending of episode 15 always give me goosebumps. The way hinata slowly falls to the ground like hes flying and the feather of the crow falling is like poetry in motion.

47:42 When he said "It hurts! Not even my coach hit me." is a reference to the "bright slap" scene in the original Gundam series... Bet most of Haikyuu! fans didn't even know it.
The thing that's so great about Haikyu is that not everybody can win and the show doesn't shy away from showing you the bitterness and frustrations that follow. There are no bad guys in Haikyu. There are just teams... and they all want to win.
@@sindri1447 Exactly, I always loved how both sides get equal screen time so even when you feel happy that "our" team won you feel the sting of the losing team as well!

21:10 I think the scene with tanaka about girls is just his preference becuz he's talking about having a girlfriend, and a minute ago we saw a very strong girl punching daishi.
If you want to like Tsukki, don't worry, his time will come and I can't wait for you to get there. The vibe on Oikawa is fantastic, he's got such an incredible character arc for an antagonist.
there was a bit of flashback in the golden week camp though, when ennoshita told hinata and kags about them running away from training. but yeah, it was very brief
You know what you were saying about the movie? Haikyuu actually has a bunch of stage plays, and the actors somehow embody the characters so well. The actor who played Asahi for most of them, Justin Tomimori (he's Japanese-Australian, which is why he has an English name, and is actually why he's taller than most of the other actors) looks so much like Asahi, it's uncanny.
First of all: Love your reactions Second: Talking about dubs and subs: The "poem" that Takeda-sensei (the teacher with glasses an green jump suit) it`s poorly subbed. It really translate to "Each one of you are strong / All of you are strong/ Let the people in here know / Behold, the heroes of old / the Karasuno Resurrection" (Netflix has the absolutly worst subtitles in the entire translation bussiness. They ripp appart the meaning of phrases and quotes)
@@chrisrvn6 Unfortunately I don’t think she’d be willing to pay for a subscription just for that. Do you know if the Netflix subs will butcher oikawa’s famous quote about talent?
The three characters you don't feel like you know at all, don't sweat it. They really haven't gotten a chance to shine yet and haven't even been properly introduced yet. To be fair Takeda has this childish aura to him. Asahi and daichi both look older than him.

If she does watch the OVA’s then i feel like she should watch the first one after the training camp in season 2

Well, it's all because of him being a sour that's why we, haikyuu fandom called him "saltyshima" short for salty Tsukishima.
Its funny how Vic talk about Tsuki like they were a "thing", and she complains how their relationship falling apart between them as Tsuki hardly there anymore/"hes a changed man, you're not the Tsuki I once adore". lol😂

The pain in my heart when she fast forwarded through Date Techs cheer is indescribable
Honestly, I love that you refer to Karasuno as “us” and “our” I think we all started it at some point watching the show😂it just came naturally
And about the thing about different perspectives in shows and movies and so on, I’m thinking about that so often, but in Haikyuu it’s like at some point you will probably start not only hoping for Karasuno to win but also for the other teams because the characters and backgrounds and everything is just so well portrayed that you will end up asking the universe why there can only be one winner - or I’m the only one, also a possibility 😂😂
Edit: The English voices really don’t fit the characters in my opinion. But, I don’t know, not just in the I’m used to other voices kind of way but in the the voices just don’t fit their personalities kind of way. Does that make sense?😂 No hate on the VAs of course💗
Edit 2: Sorry, that comment just gets longer and longer😂 but with the movie cast you remembered me of the Haikyuu Stage Play which is soooooo good! I love it and it would be so cool if you reacted to these, too!! The actors are also so on point! 🥰❤️
Edit 3: Well, about Oikawa, you will find many people who love him but also people who hate him. In my opinion he is a pretty realistic and authentic character with flaws and insecurities that many people have to face and deal with. And also much skill for which he worked hard and a great character set up.
Exactly my thoughts! Everytime I watch their games, I cheer for both teams 😆.. And Oikawa 🤧
@@alhaitham.s Good to know that I’m not alone😆

For real! Middle-school Kageyama just pales in comparison hahaha.
@@isabellafiguerola7450 to be fair I think that's how we all reacted to those girls like how do you hear the entire band stop and still think you can cheer???
to be fair. Atsumu is right. He dictates the offense and has to navigate the block. The points his hitters win are also his points.
"Anyone who can't hit one of my tosses just sucks" - Miya Atsumu
"I wish I could see how they'd look irl"
Haikyuu theatre live actions: allow us introduce ourselves

First of all: Love your reactions
Second: Talking about dubs and subs: The "poem" that Takeda-sensei (the teacher with glasses an green jump suit) it`s poorly subbed.
Is there a way she can get access to the version with better subs?

Haikyuu is one of the shows that doesn't have a character that you can't hate. Every character is great, rounded, and has their own back story.
The three characters you don't feel like you know at all, don't sweat it. They really haven't gotten a chance to shine yet and haven't even been properly introduced yet. They're all 2nd years just like Tanaka and Nishinoya. One of those nameless crows is probably most suited to being team captain whenever the 3rd years retire... but don't really think about it too much.
