This honestly is how torb turret should always work. Giving him more innovation would be healthy for the character. People know most the turret spots by now

I've been doing something similar to this for a while, only using the petal to lift up the turret and bring it down whenever it's in danger and the enemy team always tries to find the turret and some of them just end up dying 😭
I'm in the same boat and think it's still not possible, tried pretty much everything to make that happen. Unfortunately the legacy weapon swap felt so incredibly clunky to me after already being used to the current one that I had to sacrifice the dash on the ground and nerf myself. We really shouldn't have to choose though, hope they change it eventually.
