Dental schools look at all grades so they all make a small difference in some way. But I personally don’t think those other classes are that important. Grades in general aren’t the sole thing they look for in an applicant. It’s great to be a well rounded applicant and to show that you have improved over time with grades etc !!
Hi I have a question about shadowing so I want to shadow at a dental office but how will the dental school know that I actually shadowed their office is there a specific paper they have to fill out or what ?
I took the DAT in 2020 before I submitted my application. I think it’s best to take it during the summer before your senior year just in case you want to have time to retake it. It’s also best to make sure you’ve taken the undergraduate classes that will be tested on the DAT. Not required but super helpful!

i got a 19 on the DAT as well :-/ but my gpa is 3.70 so hopefully I can still get into the schools I want

if I fail a class (something which is not like a requirement for example history) or like get a D in it. Does it affect my application a lot?

There isn't a specific paper to fill out but I did have my own spreadsheet logging my hours that I had the dentists sign.

gpa 3.9 mine is like a 3.5 according to the ADDAS after this semster 🥲
