I'm so glad I watched this video. This man is what I call a real mechanic. He took his time n effort to actually demonstrate n tell every lil detail on how to take off the brakes and how to replace them. This town I live in needs a mechanic like him. Now it will prepare me for what I need for the rear brakes on my car. Thxs so much for sharing..🤗

omg i've been trying to put in the backside pad upside down, no wonder it wouldn't fit i was even thinking of shaving it down like you said in the video but for the wrong reasons..before i did that i decided to look at what side the metal pin was and i saw it was at the bottom and mine was at the top ..now i see why they put it there
Hope this helped you out
Can I still use my car if my E brake bolt broke ? Just so I can get a new part
More involved than doing the front
I always thought that the back would be easier
Hope this helps you out.
What was it that you put on the caliper bolt?
It was a little bit of antiseize
I hate these damn Malibu's so much. First job I had to do that with the piston. Normally a C-clamp does the trick

Will work for 2022 Chevy Malibu rs
It should be a similar procedure.
I just use the cube to collapse the piston

For a mechanic. Don’t you have the piston tool? The cube one with all the different nodules? Just use a ratchet and extension and press same time while turning. Easier.
We do, it is pretty quick to doing them this way.
I have a 2007. Rear is drum and shoes not rotor and pads
Thanks for watching
Yeah they sell a tool ...but who needs the tool ment to keep from ripping the boot up and maring up the Piston...joey grab my channels 😂😂😂
Thanks for watching
It’s a impala
Thanks for watching
Except that's an impala NOT A MALIBU
Thanks for watching.
