That is a GORGEOUS aircraft! I can fly them but I can't justify building them. I've been building and flying RC aircraft for almost 5 decades. I'm amazed at how things have changed. The first "jet" I ever saw was a ducted fan aircraft and it was too heavy to get out of ground effect. Then the Byron Originals came along. It has just gotten better and better since then. The radios have especially gotten better. I started out with a little 3 channel radio from Hobby Shack in California. Then when I got out of high school, I got an EK Logictrol. I'm sure some of you remember them. The servos and battery packs were huge and the radio was SLOW! My hat is off to the builder and flyer of this beautiful aircraft! It looks completely real!

Das Ding hat ja ein fantastisches Flugbild! In der Regel erkennt man ja im Flug sofort, ob es sich um ein RC-Modell handelt oder nicht. Hier wackelt nix, absolut scale. Liegt das nur an der schieren Größe und der hier offensichtlich herrschenden Windstille oder gibt es in diesem Modell eine elektronische Stabilisierung?
Das wippen kann ich dir nicht genau erklären, da ich nur der Kameramann bin. Aber das Modell ist nagelneu und sicherlich noch nicht zu 100% fein abgestimmt. Das wird sicher noch korrigiert. Gruss, Markus
Ich schätze mal einen Speed um die 300 km/h könnten möglich sein, aber da das Original "nur" ein Jet-Trainer ist, wird das Modell nicht umhergescheucht, sondern schön scale geflogen. Und man kann so ein Modell bis zur Sichtgrenze fliegen, ab da wird es zu riskant, da niemand ein so teures Modell riskieren wird. Gruss, Markus

Allein von der Größe und der Bauausführung ist es nicht genug zu loben. Jedoch muss ich Punktabzüge geben für die Lackierung. Dieses Flugzeug ist doch einmalig in Deutschland, warum wurde sie nicht in Originaltarnfarben lackiert, z.B vom JaboG 43 in Oldenburg?
