i feel like the best way to work the class sytem is three parts 1. remove the RNG mechanic and tone down the grindyness of the system. seriously that was one of the worst experiences. 2. you can only combine TWO CLASSES at a time. something akin to Remnant 2's class sytem that way you can control the flow of balance easier AND still keep class identity a bit more 3. certain perks and skills granted by this system, due to how powerful they'll be on certain classes, should either not be available outright *or* be heavily nerfed in its class system version. a fighter's sprint should not be punished just because rouge is using it as example
I really think for free to play players should have 2-3 character slots. At least allowing them to have a main, and being able to experiment for other classes. However, people crying that they're locking content behind $30 price tag after playing this are gonna cry when they play Destiny 2. Instead of $30, it would be like $300 for all the content. And even then, the only thing that you cannot do (if we ignore the annoyance of only 1 character slot), is high roller. Bosses, items, and classes are all unlocked. Everything gameplay wise except the mode is unlocked. They only locked off the economy bits of the game so the chinese gold farmers need to at least spend $30.
Am I way off or are normal items only accessible for F2P ? Because that's the main critic, along with the only one charac slot which is stupid. Those two features restrict way too much the gameplay for a "dungeon crawler extraction" thing. At least to call this a "F2P game". Just call it a demo at this point. Then you sometimes had an extension which added so much it could basically be called "a 2024 full game". And dev PAID people to beta test their game. Now you got D&D in 2024. Launched in alpha with F2P plan. Saw people were ready to pay, so they did go B2P. When the game was not on steam anymore, they planned to make 10 bucks class unlock (which they didn't because of the uproar from players). And now the alpha/beta game comes back to steam as "F2P" but then asks you to pay 30 bucks (again for an alpha/beta) directly in game via their platform to unlock all the game. So no Steam refund. And then players tell people that point that out are whining ? Waow. What a massive positive evolution in the gaming industry standards and practice. Sorry to be very skeptical.

They knew it wasn't ready, we knew it wasn't, then why did ppl proceeded to look at it like it's a finished feature? It always was just a test and as a test it was highly successful because granted loads of information and showed game systems flexibility. And I'm big on systems flexibility seeing some devs like BSG got bit in the ass by the lack of it.
People don't want to play a "test" they don't enjoy so they will just stop playing? If they want to "test" things they can put all the crap together into the test server and make it accessible for everyone instead of thirsting for money

You actually demonstrated a good argument why locking the Test Server behind a paywall can be a good decision. To filter the feedback towards ppl that care enough to pay that much rather then those that don't actually care at all about the game's future, don't care about anything but their immediate pleasure.

Free to play players should be separated from paid players now you can bring in better gear to normals. I’m a new player but not being having access to the trade market seems kinda pay to win. Me grinding to find gear compared to someone picking optimized gear from the market doesn’t seem balanced imo. I guess that’s just their sales funnel
Skill Issue, Is Full but not HR, Not More than 1 character and No marketplace, Why? To avoid Chinnese and Cheaters from ruining the game. If you dont like it you can just delete the game from you library.
it is not F2P, unless you pay 30 dollars you cant even equip the items you looted, what a joke of a game, F2P version is an eternal limbo of looting for nothing since you cant use any items above common rarity
No one can use items above common rarity in normals. Watch the video next time before you comment. No amount of money paid allows you to bring higher tiers of gear into normals.

demo is not the full game. Dark and darker is a full game, you even get the data packs of future updates. It is a DRM priced game. if you don't like it buy it like the OGs have. did you support Ironmace vs Nexon?
