New Rogues remember this; after every run get rid of your upgrades (blue and better) and throw them in your stash and sell everything else. stay under 25 gear score and just polish up your pvp skills as well as get used to the maps if necessary as much as i hate the perk for the game, use Creep. it is probably single-handedly the most broken perk in the game
Hey man! Just started playing. Rogue is awesome and ranger too! A ranger guide would be appreciated but a rogue guide is essential! Thanks for this. (I said that about the ranger cause the class is almost self explanatory and very forgiving to play, having a lot of fun!)
Glad to hear it! I probably wont make a ranger guide. Like you said, it is a little more straight forward. I don't think as many people would watch it.
Rupture and posioned weapon lead to some nasty damage over time. But personally, Ambush plus back attack and Dagger mastery can deal an extra 95% bonus damage or more depending on the Target's armor. And if you pick up thrust and weakpoint attack, you can kinda just say no to armor. You could also Take Poisioned weapon, Ambush, Back attack, and Dagger mastery plus rupture to deal both massive damage and hurl and enemy straight into the DOT's kill range.
Thanks for the guide! Ngl this game is frustrating as hell, making one mistake against some random skeletons punishing you so hard is so wild. Feels like I'm never going to get to the point of being able to PVP
hide is really good in parties but with the creep perk, I don't use hide in solos. it's so easy to just walk up behind someone with no invis and now you get two damage or utility skills to help secure the kill
Rogue guide? More like drum throwing guide Jokes aside, i'm completely a new player to Dark & Darker tried some of the classes (Warlock, Barb, Cleric) but they just didn't really feel like my style. Tried rogue had some fun so i decided to stick to rogue, your video helped me with the basics (especially switching to rapier) but later on i'm planning to try dual dagger after i get a bit more experienced so thanks my guy! Loved the vid and had a laugh on the rapier gameplay part. It also reminds me of one of my favorite childhood game named Arx Fatalis but casting spells is just easier (if you know you know). Ps.: Still don't know what stats should I build other than dex and agi, and i'm still horrible when it comes to PvP but we'll all get there at some point
New player here. why do you equip the crossbow in one weapon slot and the dagger in the other? can you not equip both on one slot? And why not equip 2 daggers? is that not more dps? you seem to equip one dagger in the left hand only, why?
typically only use 1 dagger at a time, so whichever attack it uses, youll use that. You can use 2 daggers but the minus move speed usually isnt worth it.
I have a seemingly dumb question, but why do you run a single offhand in each slot? is it just a move speed thing or preference? I've been debating a dagger hxb and rapier hxb but i wasnt sure if that was too much or something
Question: Im new to the game. Played f2p for a day and bought it. Im buidling a rougue now. My last perk was gonna be Jokester. And i get what it does. But i dont see the numbers move on my loadout screen. I thought everything would go up? So i watched you equip and unequip jokester in your dagger built, but the numbers dont move either. How and when is this calculated?
its 1 damage 4 times, so 4 total per attack. Then it says it can stack up to 5 times but if you test it on a training dummy it will tick for 4 damage with default kit. the 0.5 means how it scales, so its 50% scaling as you beef up your kit. If you add +true magic damage or +magic damage it will scale at 100% for those stats.
true magic on most pendants is good. True means it doesnt get reduced by your enemies magic resistance. You only want +true magic dmg or +magic damage if you run poison weapon perk.
It's surprisingly strong. Against casters you have three seconds of complete freedom to swing away. And for other classes they cant sprint, second wind, roar, eat biscuits, and whatever else right. So it's pretty good with the right kit.
considering you do most of your dmg in under 3 seconds, it can stop a barb shout, a warlock phantomize, a wizard from casting invisi, you name it. it eliminates escape options
One dagged used to be better, you move faster with only one. They recently added armor pen to a couple of the daggers, so now its better to use those two daggers together (typically).
Is there anything wrong with stacking dex and pure damage? Usually i tend to stack dex and physical damage, not caring about strength or agility because when a gight happens I invis and sneak around stabbing then behind. Also i use kris daggers.
poison damage is magic dmg, adding additional damage to it is rly useful. its 4 dmg for 4s (1 damage a sec) and ofc stacks up to 5x so 5 dmg a sec. that additional adds to the total dmg over the 4s

as a new player this is the best rogue guide i could find, good job
This video made all other videos look like they weren't this video. 10/10
Best guides right here. Dude helped me from being straight garbage, too still being straight garbage but realizing I could be doing so much better 🤘🏻
Lmao, I love it. I'm glad it's helped at least a little bit. It'll just be practice from this point. Good luck brother.

its all about the movement speed, if you equip 2 weapons in the same slot you double -movement speed

primary or right click attack? when to use each?

Its bc the movespeed loss from each
When I have two dagger equip or even a rapier and a dagger, how do I know when I should left click or right click?
secondary is always right click. im pretty sure the only "main weapon" daggers are the kris and Rondel but i could be wrong
@@zacharyjackson1829 that’s not what I’m asking but I don’t really even play the game anymore anyway
@anthonyontv1061 it literally was exactly what you're asking (secondary is and will only ever be on the right side), but fair enough 🤷

the jokester perk buffed when you’re in the game, pay attention to its next time when you’re using the perk

14:14 is the Rapier build not good for Solo?!
Rapier can work in solo
Got a question how do you get that fur cap??
Its part of the skeleton skin, it only appears on that skin when you're not wearing a hat or when you wear the shadow mask
Dont poisoned weapons glow in the dark? feel like it would ruin stealth
They do have an animation, it could give you away if you sit in the dark but its a pretty hard to see.
Dcoi here 🎉
Im startibg the game, just saw one video of a dude that stealths and he can move while stealthed. I cant find that perk (lvl 4)
The perk is called Stealth.19:29
@@dcoiyt saw that while reading this lol, My Bad. Thank You!

i am not a f2p but i dont know why with the dagger build you using magical dmg
stacking poison
poison damage is magic dmg, adding additional damage to it is rly useful. its 4 dmg for 4s (1 damage a sec) and ofc stacks up to 5x so 5 dmg a sec. that additional adds to the total dmg over the 4s

Isn’t jokestet better 1st perk since u kinda need 15 strength on rogue to make it playable?
Definitely Poison weapon ist useless if you don´t have MD build
Jokester is good, but I dont know why you'd 'need' it. Poison weapon will give you more damage than jokester as a level 1 rogue.
