The passing of Bea Arthur, Rue, Estelle and now Betty are tragic, but everyone gets old. I just wish they all could have all lived forever. Talent, perhaps my selfishness, but I hope many people get to see reruns to enjoy and hopefully get the humor, maybe, or have it explained to them. I'm so glad my kids loved this show.
Thank you SO much for this. Golden Girls is my favorite TV show. I'm 52, so I watched the show as a teen and young adult. I recorded many episodes on VHS tapes and rewatched them. I love watching your reactions, because they are so similar to mine. The Golden Girls has helped me cope with trauma, stress, anxiety and depression. I can escape. The writing is so wonderful and the acting is so good. I feel the girls are family, the episodes are so comforting. And SO funny. Thanks again for such a simple, but powerful video.
Great writing. Great actors. This show was loved by all ages and still is as it was so good. People didn't take comments or digs so personal back then like they do today. People kept things light and fun. Lighten up America. Betty White/Rose was 61 in 1985. Rue/Blance was 51 in '85 Estelle Getty/Sophia was 62 in '85 Bea Arthur/Dorothy was 63 in '85
My FAVORITE 80’s show!! In my clubbing days, I always had the Golden Girls on when I was getting ready (it aired on Saturday nights). BEST times of my life ❤
'' The Golden girls '' is a series that I adore . Sofia is my beloved character and her relationship with her daughter Dorothy is hilarious and sweet in the same time ... The great , almighty , Queen of the one line savage roasting . I believe that she had a secret son , named Niles in the series '' The Nanny '' , a joke ... I believe Dorothy took some of her sarcastic character . RIP , Betty White , beloved Rosie Nylund!
I got the seasons for Christmas one year and before that watched it 3 x a day on lifetime so I can say lines with them and still LMAO when I see these iconic women. I love them so much.
They’re still on TV channel 41 where I live they’re on Saturday mornings and Sunday mornings and boy are they a pleasure. Something funny something just a little enough of me to be interesting.
What’s interesting, Rose said: In Little Falls the jeweler is Jewish. That is 100% accurate. The jeweler in Little Falls, MN is Goldsmith Jewelers. I live just down the street.
actually Rue McClanahan aka Blanch was still the youngest born in 1934 surprisingly she was still in her 50s toward the last episode but Estelle Getty aka Sophia was younger than Dorothy and Rose

Sophia and Dorothy are definitely the reigning queens of savagery. Their deliveries are unmatched.
Sophia had no filter , she was awesome
Sophia was absolutely the best character on the show. She had no filter and didn't hold back whatsoever.
Damn, she was brutal!!! 🤣🤣🤣

The character had a stroke and lost her internal ability to regulate what she says. It's why they all kind of tolerate it from her.
I love your “ stop the chuckles” technique! Subbed!😊
Sophia is so funny 😆

I failed 🤣😂🤣
I'm looking forward to getting older and having no sensor on what I say. And not carrying if anybody is offended.
Sophia is like that because of a stroke that destroyed the part of her brain that acts as a filter.

Sophia was the oldest but Estelle was the youngest. lol
Actually Rue the youngest
She was in her that thru the whole series
You have to see when they were on the game show Grab that Dough.
Actually no, she was in her mid 60's by the time the show ended.
I meant Blance were in her 50s in that comment Rue was born in 1934
The show ended in 1992
Rue aka Blanch was 58
Hi T its been a while
You're there... But, not really! You'd be perfect, to take to a movie! Wait... I don't think people go to the movies anymore! Anyway... ✌️
Sophia was actually the youngest of the four.
actually Rue McClanahan aka Blanch was still the youngest born in 1934 surprisingly she was still in her 50s toward the last episode
but Estelle Getty aka Sophia was younger than Dorothy and Rose
Still blown away that the actress that plays Sophia is the youngest.
She's not she was born in 1923
Rue-Blanch was born in 1934
Fun fact.... Dorothy was actually older than Sophia!
