I'm aware that the 'intention' behind ppl saying this is different and stupid as it is - BUT - at face value, as of the line itself, they're actually not wrong imho. Metal as it stands has its roots and has since split into some more or less major sub-genres we all know. What Babymetal produces though falls often outside the known, western spectrum of what is typically considered 'Metal' - so in a sense, they're not wrong. Imho Babymetal nearly creates its own sub-genre with not many other bands falling into it - through the combination of highly contrary styles and concepts, they manage to create something different, 'new' (at least for western audiences) and special. I too would feel bad to say that Babymetal is 'just' Metal - because for that their music is just too different overall.
Thanks again from Japan 有難う💛。When you see this video, you should close the curtains and lock the door. What if your neighbors or family members saw you watching a video of dark ceremony where a young girl was being crucified? 😄 Anyway all necessary information about this song has been already told here. No further ... Oh oh! Just one thing, I witnessed newly arranged BABYMETAL DEATH 3 times at Budokan on Feb.19, Apr. 14 and 15, last year. That was short but much heavier than this and I saw Su, Moa and Momoko (one of Avengers) all crucified. 🤣
You do a great job describing what its like to experience Babymetal. Can you imagine any other band getting away with crucifying a teenage girl on stage? Doesn’t matter how many times you see this you get chills every time
There's a lot of symbolism going on here, all about where the band was at that time and where they were going. Other commenters will fill you in on most of it, I'm going to focus on this being BABYMETAL's transformation song. The band has a delightfuly silly mythology about the girls and the KAMI being selected by the Fox God to spread heavy metal around the world. When the band members take the stage, they stop being Suzuka, Yui and Moa. They are possessed by the heavy metal spirits and become SU-METAL, YUIMETAL and MOAMETAL. This song was usually played at the beginning of their concerts and it's the moment when they transform. SUMETAL DESU! is like saying 'I AM SU-METAL!', which is like the anime trope when a character transforms into a super-hero, like Sailormoon's 'Moon Prism Power....MAKE UP!' In interviews, the band often referred to this as a real thing, like they would play-act at it being real, and they would let themselves think they were becoming someone else. I remember seeing someone talking about watching them rehearsing for their collab with Rob Halford and they said 'but they weren't really BABYMETAL yet'. I think it might have been one of the reasons that they were able to be so fearless on stage when they were younger.
There are many performers who have very different real life personas, but with very different stage personas when they inhabit their 'stage' selves. It's much like using a 'stage name' for their performing, and their actual name off-stage. Sometimes performers refer to it as "taking on the character". For example, Ashley has said that her "Halsey" persona does things she'd never do as herself. Some years back I recall an actress talking about a VERY risqué transparent dress that was worn without underwear - she said it was something she wouldn't ever wear as it was too revealing, but that her character would flaunt it, and that's how she wore it in the scene. IIRC correctly, it was Rene Russo (sp?) about her character in the remake of "The Thomas Crown Affair".
Which I think they appreciated so much seeing Metallica off-stage and on-stage performing live at the Summer Sonic festival. They could see the 2 sides.
@@GOTGames And in Japan they usually shorten Desu to just Des. And to the Japanese ear Des and Death sound exactly the same. So....Des = Death. That, and they did this ceremony for each of the girls on their 16th birthday where they "Died" and were reborn as Metal Goddesses.

Excellent reaction / experience, thanks! :) Song's name is "BABYMETAL Death" and that concert was Legend 1997 (SU-METAL seitan sai) aka SU-METAL 16th birthday party and took place on December 21st, 2013 at the Makuhari Messe convention center in Chiba. Lyrics are quite simple: "B-A-B-Y-M-E-T-A-L" "SU-METAL desu", "YUIMETAL desu", "MOAMETAL desu", "BABYMETAL desu" "Death death death death death death..." etc Desu (the U is silent so it sounds like the English word death, pretty much means "I am, you are, we are" so they were introducing themselves. This was usually an opening song but this time they used it as a closing number. The meaning of the whole thing is the sacrifice of SU-METAL, giving up her mortal life as a human and Idol to reborn as a metal Goddess. just want to add 2 short things. 1. 1997 is Su-Metals birthyear, that's why Legend 1997 - secondly in addition to Tony Griffin: I am/we are in japanese is "desu". As the u is silent, it's pronounced like dess. They simply changed this to death and that fits perfectly. Greetings from Germany. Kitsune up!

In a word: classic! It's that simple! Absolutely Amazing performance! Good react again bro. No more words! Believe me, you need to see Iine (iine) live. 3 different styles in 1 song. See you in the next 🤟🏻🦊🇯🇵🔥🔥🔥
btw this concert dedicated 16th birthday of Suzuka Nakamoto (lead singer). 1st song of this show was Avemaria intro + headbanger night of 15 mix (dubstep version of Headbanger) (u can check it out if u like dubstep (scrillex style) ). Yes Babymetal doing pure dubstep. Not sure why. Maybe Suzuka like this style? :) They perform dubstep version twice. on 15th and 16th birthdays of Suzuka. its called "Headbanger Night of 15 mix". But its not live singing and 100% backing track. because lot of electronic effects on voices.
And this is how you celebrate your 16th birthday and become Su-metal. Great reaction and yes, I expected your jaw to drop on the floor. Usually this song was used as the opener to introduce the girls/Babymetal but for the 10th anniversary shows the made a shorter (shin) version without any lyrics that, in my opinion, is slightly harder hitting (if that is possible lol). I think you are ready for the updated Babymetal guide by CrypticMisery to get some more Babymetal knowledge and then we’ll see where it takes you. See you in the next one! Edit: sorry I completely forgot. Did anyone mention #notacult yet? :)
You have witnessed the sacrifice of Jpop Idol to become into a metal queen goddess. Praise the Fox God, he has blessed all of us! 🦊🤘 Song is called *Babymetal Death* not "death" alone; Legend 1997 is the title of the live show and is referred to SuMetal's birthyear. -NotACult-
LET'S GOOO! BTW, The giant statue which eventually crumbles at the end of the video is an homage to Metallica"s "...And Justice For All". The neck brace is an homage to Japanese metal band, X Japan, because their drummer head banged too much that he broke/injured his neck requiring him to wear a neck brace. 🤘🦊🤘
🤯 Full blown Gobsmacked!! This is what I love to show people who think BABYMETAL are not metal. Which band crucifies their lead singer in front of 20K chanting DEATH!? Only a band consisting of 3 small girls. That's metal! I also have been a metal fan for decades and have never been so emotionally tied to a band before BABYMETAL. It would probably take me pages of writing to get my thoughts out about why I love BABYMETAL as much as I do and I only found out about them in the past 3 years. Now I am going back to watch this reaction video again... I think your jaw dropped on the floor a minute into the intro... 🤣 🤘🦊🤘
I have this concert on dvd. This has to be my favourite babymetal concert of all time. If you ever get chance to watch it yo won't be disappointed. plus love your enthusiasm to all your reactions.
Lmao! Bro, so much fun! Spoilers are over. You can watch the guide now and then we can start being specific. Lots of amazing stories to come! #notacult
i've seen that performance so many times but it still gives me goosebumps every fucking time i watch it, i cant wait to see more of your babymetal reactions!!
⚡ 💀 💕 / 💀 💀 💀 Just to clarify, the song title is 'BABYMETAL Death', not "DEATH Legend 1997". This concert was Legend "1997" Su-metal Seitansai. Fans will often shorten that to 'Legend 1997'. Seitansai means "Holy Birthday". It's often used in Japan to refer to Christmas. That December 21st, 2013 concert celebrated lead singer Su-metal's birthday. Su turned 16 the day before this concert.
I noticed that you are learning many Japanese words. I want to support that so I want to recommend these channels -- * ruclips.net/channel/UC_baaXG7DrT5_eC6lvIqPug * ruclips.net/user/MrYabatan because they put English subtitles on videos and they are very cheerful. someday please visit to Japan!.・🌸
If I remember correctly this was Queen Su's 16th birthday as well, not only that but they crucified her on a further 3 occasions, and people still say babymetal isn't metal
It s fun and sad at the same time the fact this part of the show was for Su-metal's birthday and she didnt see nothing of this amazing madness cause she had her eyes closed the whole time lol
always fun to see the confusion of a new babymatel fan who watches this performance for the first time, thanks for the reaction. if you want to see a completely different side of babymetal i would reccomend Akatsuki the unfinished version: ruclips.net/video/nwsinmxTxbo/видео.html Or if you want to see a little bit more from the band Rondo of Nightmare at Budokan black night with the Mischiefs of Metal Gods intro
It's like an Alice Cooper show. The part where he gets hung, or beheaded by guillotine. Then comes back and finishes the show with a vengeance. It's just next level masterpiece stuff
And this is how you turn your intro song into your closing one. Death is their introduction song due to the wordplay between desu (silent u, translates to I am or we are) and death. In the 5 years they performed this song Su was crucified around 5-6 times but this perfomance and the one from the Baptism XX show are the best. After Yui left they changed their intro song to "in the name of" which is also amazing.
"After Yui left they changed their intro song to "in the name of" which is also amazing." It ended up working out that way, but 'IN THE NAME OF' had its debut at the 'LEGEND S - BAPTISM XX' concerts, and Yui was intended to perform at those shows.
Yes and now: They used 3 different songs as Opening songs since Yui left: - "In the Name Of", usually followed by "DIstortion" - "Future Metal", usually followed by "Da Da Dance" - "BabyMetal Death" shin ver, that debuted ad the recent Budokan 2021 shows!
Please remember this song is called "Babymetal Death" not "Death" alone, arigato 🙏 During Metal Galaxy live tour 2019/2020 they used another cool short intro called "Future Metal" usually with "Da Da Dance" or as an intro of it but without performing on that intro. During 2021 live shows at Budokan they performed 4 times a new short version called "Babymetal Death" Shin Version (even heavier sound). And just like Rick told you, this would have been performed with YuiMetal at Legend S, along with "Distortion", but sadly she couldn't. Thanks for sharing info and keep commenting 🦊🤘
"You dont watch this, you dont listen to this, you experience this" You sir have described Babymetal to a tee. You are completely right. "Don't think, feel."
Now that you've seen what they did for Su's 16th Bday.... You should checkout In The Name Of for the Legend S Baptism XX concert to see what they did for her 20th....
SO, SO GLAD to see you've dived into the Fox Hole headfirst without any regard for your safety and sanity. The Fox God loves that kind of attitiude - as do we! Although simply a play on the verb 'to be', since the only 'lyrics' are just "I am SuMetal/ I am MoaMetal/ I am YuiMetal/ We are B-A-B-Y-M-E-T-A-L!", this is the performance I recommend for anyone doubting BabyMetal's Metal credentials. I thought I was very Metal going to see Sabbath on my 16th birthday (and having a sneaky pint of lager too to make it really edgy!) but SuMetal is always going to have the best story about what she did on her 16th..."Oh, you know, the usual. Birthday cake, my friends sang Happy Birthday, lots of cards and prezzies, got crucified in front of 20,000 people while an incredibly skilled Metal band played." 🦊🤘🤘🦊
Ok so we Crucified Su on her 16th Birthday show ! She got better and is our Metal Goddess now 😁 you being given all the info about it . Can you imagine this song opening there show ! ( minus the crucifixion) the girls come on stage at a slow march and when they put there arms up and the fast music starts at stadium/ Arena type shows huge circle pits start up all over . There shows are an experience everyone should experience they did not win best live band twice for nothing and Su Metal Goddess twice . Su , Yui and Moa are something special ❤❤ ♥ 🤘🦊🤘
If you had any doubts left about Baby Metal being heavy metal, just ask yourself this, How metal is it to crucify your 16 year old female singer on stage. Nuff said.
I HOPING YOU WOULD REACT TO THIS ONE!!! 🤘🤘🤘 I knew this one would blow your mind. One of my favorites 🦊🤘🦊. You should check out Su-Metal rap in Japanese on BxMxC...
#Babymetal is wonderful! It is the experimental laboratory of Heavy Metal, carried out with coherence, creativity, originality, passion and the highest level of professionalism. These are girls who donated their lives and work to Heavy Metal rock. Please more #Babymetal #SuTheQueen #YuiForever #Moa #Kamiband #MikioTheOne #KitsuneGod
You really need to check out the Babymetal song No Rain No Rainbow it's a slower song but it really showcases just how good a singer Su-metal really is
In This Song Su Gets Crucified Witch Is Why She’s On The Cross & When She Does That Scream With Her Mouth That’s When Su Comes Back As A Goddess & Near The End With That Big Statue At The Back Of The Stage Well Her Head Falls Off & She Is Marry Meaning Marry Who Gave Birth To Jesus Christ & Yes That Show Is Su-Metal’s Coming Of Age Show Witch Is Why It’s Called Live Legend 1997 Witch Is The Year Su Was Born.
Hey man, it's literally jawdropping isn't it. I think you're ready for the next phase. Try watch anything from Legend S Hiroshima, maybe No Rain No Rainbow, or anything really. It's a transition point between old and new Babymetal. It's quite sad actually, but it's a must-watch.
8:04 recently saw a comment about this moment saying something like … crucifying su and moa just fixing her hair “you’re doing great sweetie,” lmao and now I always think that
yeah "death" is so popular in Japan! even Japanese Prime Minister said "Invest in Kishida death!" at the City of London on this month! ruclips.net/video/pEUk5IV6lXM/видео.html yeah my dad tied me up on tree when I was kid, but that was not my birthday.
Great reaction - I think your jaw literally dropped for a while there. You already have all the info about this song and performance I would have normally posted, so for once I won't repeat it all. There is nothing stopping you from watching CrypticMisery's "All you need to know about Babymetal" guide now - no more spoilers to see. Oh yes #Notacult
I agree, I hope the guide comes soon because I'm super excited for him to see it and take in all that info! Edit: He should definitely do BxMxC first though! Since the guide shows a clip from it, which will spoil it a tiny bit.
For the next one you should listen to their very first song "Doki Doki Morning", or one of their newer ones "BxMxC", or the trilogy of light "Starlight" "Shine" and "arkadia". Or maybe it's time for a guide?! Can't decide they are all so good.
I've said it once I'll say it again No Body is ready for Death. Lots of tidbits going on here. Music nod to Metallica, Neck brace nod to X Japan and breaking the statue at the end another nod to Metallica. And yet as hard as that was Babymetal still manage to have their Kawaii moments. Near the start when their pointing at each other Yui and Moa are nodding to each other, and Moa is almost giggling. Later when they're putting the neck brace on the kawaii smiles Yui and Moa give each other. and moments later Yui has to fix Su's hair because you know she has to still look good up there. Lastly Su would later mention she felt the flames were too close to her and how much she could feel the heat. Since then, I have noticed the pyro at their shows have gotten farther away from her. Next up how does Babymetal top the song the use to introduce themselves in concerts. Check out "In the Name Of" from legend S. Also, the even harder version of Death they did for the 10 years of Babymetal at the Budokan. The Death Shin version. Not as long because they didn't do the extended crucifying part. Can't wait for the new album to drop.
Since it's her 16th birthday... part of this might be a bit of a reference to the fact that Japanese idols / JPop girls from manufactured bands tend to have their career end right around then. Sometime between 16 and 18 depending on the band / genre they're stuck in. They're no longer shiny young and new enough to be the perfect manufactured plastic product, now they're almost adults with opinions and feelings, and no one wants that. Congrats on growing up, Su. Welcome to the rest of your career.
You are not ready! Haha! I'm ready! Very good very heavy. 1 minute later.... They crucified Su.... NO, I'm not ready yet! 1 minute later. Ok I'm ready! 1 minute later.... they began to worship Su like a cult.... No, I'm not ready yet! 1 minute later. OK! I'm ready. 1 minute later.... The head of the statue fell off. What did I just watch!!! Hahaha 😊😄😁😂🤣This is your BabyMetal experience.
babymetal know how to put on a performance, mamamoo and band maid also can put on insane live performances better than most and then babymetal who steps it up even higher. I have been around for decades I guarantee the metal and rock bands of the 70s and early 80s did crazy stuff but none of them had the balls to crucify a teenage girl on stage.
Girl #1: "On my 16th birthday, I had my first kiss.
Girl #2: "On my 16th birthday, my parents gave me a brand new car.
Su: "On my 16th birthday, I was crucified while 10,000 people bowed in worship before me. I then died and was brought back to life as a goddess"

🤘🔥🦊🔥🤘
💯
In a word: classic! It's that simple! Absolutely Amazing performance! Good react again bro. No more words! Believe me, you need to see Iine (iine) live. 3 different styles in 1 song. See you in the next 🤟🏻🦊🇯🇵🔥🔥🔥
One of the best ever
🤘
Thank you for all your time and effort getting baby metal videos up I know it's a real pain in the Butt
You're back! And I hope they bring this back as well when they perform live again. Babymetal Des! 💀🦊
🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
Epic! Nothing like the transformation of a 16 year old J-pop Idol into a metal Queen & Goddess!
Arigatou! 🦊🤘 #notacult
btw this concert dedicated 16th birthday of Suzuka Nakamoto (lead singer). 1st song of this show was Avemaria intro + headbanger night of 15 mix (dubstep version of Headbanger)
(u can check it out if u like dubstep (scrillex style) ). Yes Babymetal doing pure dubstep. Not sure why. Maybe Suzuka like this style? :)
They perform dubstep version twice. on 15th and 16th birthdays of Suzuka. its called "Headbanger Night of 15 mix". But its not live singing and 100% backing track. because lot of electronic effects on voices.
babymetal is High Art. Mixture of Metal, Kabuki Theatre, Modern ballet. Musical, and a play as you suggest, and horror movie. Insane
"What's going on?" - Just the cutest snuff film of all time. Great reaction to a wonderful performance.
Song is called *Babymetal Death* not "death" alone; Legend 1997 is the title of the live show and is referred to SuMetal's birthyear.

Ah love that! 🤘
🤘🦊🤘
I have this concert on dvd. This has to be my favourite babymetal concert of all time. If you ever get chance to watch it yo won't be disappointed. plus love your enthusiasm to all your reactions.
Now that was some serious performance art!!
they're actually saying "Des", I believe and it it's a play on words to sound like english "death" but means "babymetal des" or "we are babymetal"
That's correct! Though just FYI, although it sounds like "des", it's technically romanized/spelled as "desu".
Lmao! Bro, so much fun! Spoilers are over. You can watch the guide now and then we can start being specific. Lots of amazing stories to come! #notacult
Guide to come soon! 🤘🤘
this isn't a song
its a stage show about the lore of the band
Never seen anything like this 🤘
Always love the " blank stare and jaw hanging open " reactions to this video lol
i've seen that performance so many times but it still gives me goosebumps every fucking time i watch it, i cant wait to see more of your babymetal reactions!!
⚡ 💀 💕 / 💀 💀 💀
Just to clarify, the song title is 'BABYMETAL Death', not "DEATH Legend 1997".
I want to support that so I want to recommend these channels --
* ruclips.net/channel/UC_baaXG7DrT5_eC6lvIqPug
* ruclips.net/user/MrYabatan
because they put English subtitles on videos and they are very cheerful. someday please visit to Japan!.・🌸
Ah I didn't know! Thank you 🤘
Oh I been waiting for this one lol
This was crazy!
If I remember correctly this was Queen Su's 16th birthday as well, not only that but they crucified her on a further 3 occasions, and people still say babymetal isn't metal
You just experienced the BabyMetal "cult" in full force....I mean ermmmm....fans........🤣🤣
#notacult
Heaviest? Wait till you see Sis Anger.
I wanted to unlike this and then like it again.
Alas... there is another... the heaviest of them all...
😮
It s fun and sad at the same time the fact this part of the show was for Su-metal's birthday and she didnt see nothing of this amazing madness cause she had her eyes closed the whole time lol
😂🤘🤘
The birth of our Metal Queen, 👸🙌

always fun to see the confusion of a new babymatel fan who watches this performance for the first time, thanks for the reaction.
if you want to see a completely different side of babymetal i would reccomend Akatsuki the unfinished version: ruclips.net/video/nwsinmxTxbo/видео.html
Or if you want to see a little bit more from the band Rondo of Nightmare at Budokan black night with the Mischiefs of Metal Gods intro
😂😂🤘🤘
Very impressing and creative Song it shows how awesome good the Kami-Band is
Really is so awesome!!
"After Yui left they changed their intro song to "in the name of" which is also amazing."
It ended up working out that way, but 'IN THE NAME OF' had its debut at the 'LEGEND S - BAPTISM XX' concerts, and Yui was intended to perform at those shows.
Yes and now: They used 3 different songs as Opening songs since Yui left:
- "In the Name Of", usually followed by "DIstortion"
- "Future Metal", usually followed by "Da Da Dance"
- "BabyMetal Death" shin ver, that debuted ad the recent Budokan 2021 shows!
Please remember this song is called "Babymetal Death" not "Death" alone, arigato 🙏
During Metal Galaxy live tour 2019/2020 they used another cool short intro called "Future Metal" usually with "Da Da Dance" or as an intro of it but without performing on that intro.
💯💯💯💯💯
"You dont watch this, you dont listen to this, you experience this"
You sir have described Babymetal to a tee. You are completely right.
"Don't think, feel."
"So, Debbie, what did you do for your sweet sixteen?"
"Not that."
Now that you've seen what they did for Su's 16th Bday.... You should checkout In The Name Of for the Legend S Baptism XX concert to see what they did for her 20th....
This could be their heaviest song, but Sis Anger gives it a run for it's money. Especially the live Tokyo Dome version.
Rondo of nightmare with kami band intro next... You will love it... thx me later... Nice video and keep up the good work...
😂 best way to dive in! Act first think later!
@@GOTGames 😂🤟🦊
Ok so we Crucified Su on her 16th Birthday show ! She got better and is our Metal Goddess now 😁 you being given all the info about it .
Can you imagine this song opening there show ! ( minus the crucifixion) the girls come on stage at a slow march and when they put there arms up and the fast music starts at stadium/ Arena type shows huge circle pits start up all over . There shows are an experience everyone should experience they did not win best live band twice for nothing and Su Metal Goddess twice . Su , Yui and Moa are something special ❤❤ ♥ 🤘🦊🤘
The first time they did this it must have been absolutely incredible to witness!!
Try In The Name Of. Another mind blowing performance
Exactly the right reaction! Can't wait for the war and covid-19 to be over so I can see BABYMETAL live! I hope it happens soon!
🤘🤘🤘
Now that you’ve seen this, “in the name of” should be next on your Babymetal list
Just gets more and more awesome the more you see of them 🤘
You are now ready for doki doki moring.
Yeah they're all fantastic you know I think the girls were about 15 years old when this came out
BABYMETAL - Tamashii no Rufuran
MUST WATCH
I don’t usually listen to heavy metal but this one is a banger
too early for #notacult ? :-)
😂🤘
Another video to check out is pa pa ya it’s pretty good
You really need to check out the Babymetal song No Rain No Rainbow it's a slower song but it really showcases just how good a singer Su-metal really is
yeahh babymetal again. i hope you react babymetal - Iine
💯🤘
I don't think I'm ever ready for any Babymetal song 😂🤘🤘
100% agree on No Rain No Rainbow from Hiroshima
I think you handled it pretty well man.. nice
Nice one!
🤘🤘🤘
BABYMETAL FOREVER
#notacult (wink)
I also wonder if the Neck Brace is also a nod to Yoshiki of X-Japan and his neck surgeries. The narrative of suffering for Art.
It is :-)
8:04 recently saw a comment about this moment saying something like … crucifying su and moa just fixing her hair “you’re doing great sweetie,” lmao and now I always think that
😂🤘🤘🤘
Never a bad hair day at a BabyMetal concert 🔥🦊🔥
yeah "death" is so popular in Japan! even Japanese Prime Minister said "Invest in Kishida death!" at the City of London on this month! ruclips.net/video/pEUk5IV6lXM/видео.html yeah my dad tied me up on tree when I was kid, but that was not my birthday.
Remember, Babymetal is not a cult...
🤘

Great reaction - I think your jaw literally dropped for a while there.
You already have all the info about this song and performance I would have normally posted, so for once I won't repeat it all.
There is nothing stopping you from watching CrypticMisery's "All you need to know about Babymetal" guide now - no more spoilers to see.
Oh yes #Notacult
I agree, I hope the guide comes soon because I'm super excited for him to see it and take in all that info!
Edit: He should definitely do BxMxC first though! Since the guide shows a clip from it, which will spoil it a tiny bit.
Well. That's how a metal goddess being born. Nice Reaction!🔥🤟

💯🤘🤘🤘
For the next one you should listen to their very first song "Doki Doki Morning", or one of their newer ones "BxMxC", or the trilogy of light "Starlight" "Shine" and "arkadia". Or maybe it's time for a guide?! Can't decide they are all so good.

The funniest thing is the completely shocked face at the end of the video.
Pls watch "no rain no rainbow" best vocal song of them
I've said it once I'll say it again No Body is ready for Death.
The actual video for it, during an interview Yui and Mo said it was scary making the video.
The video for it??
Since it's her 16th birthday... part of this might be a bit of a reference to the fact that Japanese idols / JPop girls from manufactured bands tend to have their career end right around then. Sometime between 16 and 18 depending on the band / genre they're stuck in. They're no longer shiny young and new enough to be the perfect manufactured plastic product, now they're almost adults with opinions and feelings, and no one wants that.
Congrats on growing up, Su. Welcome to the rest of your career.
And now chek 2021 versión for this song
Happy to! 🤘
Out of htis world!!!!!!!!!!Kitsune Up!!!!!!
That's how you close the show
You are not ready!
Haha! I'm ready! Very good very heavy.
1 minute later.... They crucified Su.... NO, I'm not ready yet!
1 minute later. Ok I'm ready!
1 minute later.... they began to worship Su like a cult.... No, I'm not ready yet!
1 minute later. OK! I'm ready.
1 minute later.... The head of the statue fell off.
What did I just watch!!!
Hahaha 😊😄😁😂🤣This is your BabyMetal experience.
😂😂😂
So cool! You should definitely check out Colter Wall.
Definitely!
babymetal know how to put on a performance, mamamoo and band maid also can put on insane live performances better than most and then babymetal who steps it up even higher. I have been around for decades I guarantee the metal and rock bands of the 70s and early 80s did crazy stuff but none of them had the balls to crucify a teenage girl on stage.
Would love to one day see them all live! ❤️🤘
Waiting for Baby Metal's PA PA YA with F Hero.

Still waiting for Rondo of nightmare with Mischief of the gods intro 😆
You won't regret it bro 😉
