Yep! I recently had an experience like this with a man who ticked all the boxes plus ones that I wasn’t even aware of. Unfortunately, he didn’t want to be in a committed relationship, so I let him go. So much about him was what I am looking for for myself and my son, but if he’s not choosing me or us, then he’s not the one for me.

It doesn't matter how much you love someone, they have to love you. Even if you are 100% in, if they aren't 100% in, it's only 50%
A quote that helped me a lot was "Now that you have chosen yourself, perhaps now you will be worthy enough for someone else to choose" once you choose who you are truly you lose the inner feelings that you aren't worthy of someone else's affection.
We have a hard time with this because we feel, "how could he or she not want me? They just don't understand what they've got! I have to make them understand."
That’s the ego getting in the way. Trust in the process of life and know that when you meet that person you choose each other.

You can't force someone to want you. It isn't fair to you. Be good to yourself. You'll know when you meet that person.
Offen times what people want is deeply rooted in their upbringing. They need something emotionally, it could be even, they need to be with a drug addict, and if you are not an addict in some way, they don‘t feel emotionally connected to you. Or it could be that they need someone who has suffered a great loss in their life, because maybe they grew up with someone like that and were loved by someone like that, and now it’s whah they need emotionally. There’s nothing wrong with you in that case.
That's what heartbreak love songs are all about..somebody loves more..

True wisdom. Thanks Matt. The right person can only be the right person when it's two people choosing each other. No matter how beautiful/handsome someone can be. No matter how much money they have. No matter how whatever the good qualities are. If they don't choose you, it's a dead end. May all of us can find someone who is meant for us, who truly wants to be with us, who loves us with every fiber of their being. That will be the two ways relationship where both of you pour into each other, where you don't feel like crying all the time. Thank you for this wisdom. Truly.

Although I agree with the core of what you say, it’s more than that. I don’t necessarily miss these people. I miss myself when I was at a certain point in my life. I miss what they took from me, excuse me, I miss what I gave to them. I don’t blame anyone but me and that’s even more difficult to deal with.
No one wants to hold on to pain,how ever ,when you have genuinely invested in loving someone it takes time to get over this.,so everyone who wants you to magically ,wants you to move on like your a robot,must be mind full of when they speak. I guess there heart has never been broken💯
There is no denying that healing takes time. I’m going through the same situation right now. I told my ex that I cared not about the money or the time invested and that I only cared about the energy. There’s a lot of pain and hurt, and I still carry that with me. We broke up a little over a month ago, but I’m still over analyzing why it didn’t work out. I’m trying my best not to let ego take over and I’m trying to not hold any resentment because I genuinely and whole heartily cared for them. I worry that they’ll fall into the wrong hands, I don’t mind if they find someone else so long as they are respected and happy. Every time I think about the situation I just send them love and say, “May the force me with them”. It’s hard, I definitely get it, I’m there right now. This was actually my first relationship. I’ve been through steeper obstacles, this one just seems to be the steepest because it is the freshest but I know that it will just be a matter of time before I’ll feel okay. The storm is just temporary. Hang in there. “The dress only fits one person”.
So simple…yet so profound! We have to choose that person each & every day. ❤ it!!!!!!
I was with her 16 1/2 years. 3 kids and she still left. We were best friends at one point then lack of communication ended the relationship real quick when a man showed her some. We were in love and she still bolted. Just don’t know anymore. Trust has flown out of my body but more importantly out of my heart ❤️.

You’re jewel is probably a narcissist and suffers from NPD. Narcissistic Personality Disorder which is no jewel at all. Get knowledge and knowledge is power read up and see if he fits this NPD. Then you’ll realize the reality of who they are and the reality they took from you to not let you see they are not a jewel if this person does and did this to you. Find out how to stop this person who taking away your joy, peace and reality. Best wishes.

Nobody can keep their promise to love you anymore then they do in this moment only. Not even yourself. So, live in the moment and know we have no control over anyone else let alone our own bodies which we don’t even get to keep when we die.
It's all about "symbiosis" - it comes naturally and in time. Both are so involved with each other that no other outside distractions can pull them apart and others won't even dare to try because they both walk together in total trust and respect. This is so rare - but it exists...both must absolutely want the same things....

I’ve always felt like guys would force themselves on me. Push a relationship that I didn’t want. I would give hints or say Im not ready for a relationship or etc in hopes of not hurting their feelings. I eventually would give in and try to make it work in the name of “friendship” and it has always turned out bad. Bc I didn’t want them the way they wanted me we were both unfulfilled yet surprised it and tried to find ways around it bc we had found comfort in not letting go. Or hurting the other person feelings. 😣I’ve learned to read signs. Be honest with yourself. And to not force anything. For both parties.

So interesting, about choosing. This one has so many meanings and outcomes. Are couples going to choose to stay in a relationship and make it work. If it’s not working for one person but the other, does that person choose to stay or go. If the relationship no longer works for either person who is going to be the bigger person and choose to end it. Or will they choose to stay in a relationship even though it’s not their true dream relationship.
Both should be honest and leave. They aren’t being fully poured into by each other. And there is a reason. What is the reason? But regardless if it could have been fixed then both would be interested in fixing it. Separate while they can and seek someone they want. Don’t stay bc it’s become the norm. Go find what you truly want !
