As a Cleveland fan, Guards org treated Tito bad his last year. I knew he'd be back. Cleveland fans should direct their anger towards ownership who doesn't care about winning. Congrats Cincy fans, you have a great coach. Hope you win it all! You have a lot of promise. Sincerely.
Good post. Cleveland's great Division winning season might have upset him that it could have been his. That is, if penny pinching Dolan had offered him the moon to stay on. Working for a cheap skate in any endeavor is a crappy job.
how did they treat him badly? He missed all the covid season, he missed multiple other stretches in 2022 and 2023. Sometimes it's just time for a change.
They've trained the fans to be satisfied with mediocrity. AL Central is the weakest division in baseball. The elephant in the room is how lopsided the payrolls are in baseball.
Cincinnatian reds fan for life!!! If we had tito this year, we would been in playoffs. We missed by 8 games, and lost 27 games by 1 run , half them late in game, blown opps by relivers. With losing a Cincinnatian, who devolped into best player who ever played the game in Peter Edward Rose. But we got picked up by hiring tito!!!!!!
Oh great, I knew this would happen. We could have given Tito a year off to recover instead of panicking and hiring a ROOKIE manager. Wish Tito the best, but wish he was still the Guardians manager. He's one of the best in baseball.
I'd think the Reds are fine with Derek Johnson as pitching coach. A definite big need on the hitting side though. The big thing the Reds need (besides a corner OF with solid pop and possibly a veteran starter) is health. I believe the Reds entire five-man rotation and a couple of depth guys were on the shelf at one point late in the season. Losing Matt McLain for the season was a big blow too. I thing the FO would consider making some moves and spending some money, but the possible loss of a TV contract could throw a big ol' wrench into those plans.
I don't think he's a traitor or anything, but I'm mad for the sake of him throwing picture perfect ending with Cleveland. I'm never going to look at his last game in Cleveland the same. Managers usually don't get those type of send-offs in MLB & I feel like he threw it away.
He's getting a pass from many fans and media, because the Guardians are currently in the Playoffs. If the Guardians were losing, possibly a different story in how his short retirement was viewed.
I have no hatred or vitriol for Terry... however, I will say it appears he gave up on the team because the front office gave up on him last year. Hence, the owner and GM flying to Houston to explain why they traded Rosario and Civale
First Dusty Baker, then Bruce Bochy, and now Terry Francona. Baker and Bochy both won championships since their return. We will see if Francona joins them in doing so.
C'mon now, there are a lot ignorant people in this world. There's always someone that has something to say just about everything. I think you guys are addressing a nothingburger
I've got a big problem with Jay and Jason saying it's tough to pick which team has the better roster. Seems like they were seriously leaning towards the Reds but said Guardians bc they work on a Cleveland sports talk show. C'mon, do better yall! Cincy ain't touching us Tito or not!
Francona is a good manager, but he can't win in the playoffs or world series without a high payroll, like in Boston, he blew the 2016 world series, by starting and leaving bauer in game 5, he has a terrible playoff record with the Indians, great person, but so what my mailman is a great person, he way overrated, if he was so good then how is it that the cheapskate Dolan replace him with vogt, who had no experience, and vogt did a fantastic job, with minimum offensive talent, this means vogt is as good as francona, francona is overrated
liked tito.. but 2022 Blew a 2-1 lead.. / 2020 AL Wild Card Series Lost, 2-0 2018 AL Division Series Lost, 3-0 2017 AL Division Series Lost, 3-2 2016 World Series Lost, 4-3 / 2013 lost the al wild card play in vs TBB
@@titansrule72 yep, and blew out the arms of Kluber and Miller along the way. Unfortunately, my memory of Tito is blown leads as you mentioned and teams celebrating on our field. You can also add silly moves like putting Kipnis in center and starting Straw.
Reds fan here. Love this signing.
When the Reds come to Cleveland next season, Tito will get a standing ovation
Couldn't get a better guy. I'm excited over the teams future now for sure.
Red Sox fan who moved to Cincinnati, I haven’t been this excited about baseball since David Ortiz said “this is our fucking city”
As one of those hybrid Reds/Browns fans I absolutely love this hire
Me too,from Springfield Ohio.
There aren’t many of yall. Born and raised in Cincinnati and I loathe the browns 😂.
Thank god it’s not just me. My wife looks at me like I’m crazy when I wear a browns jersey and a reds cap.
I'm happy for Tito this is why we should never be upset. FOR THE LOVE OF THE GAME!
@@JayBow-lc8ek well said!

Doesn’t care about winning but won the division this year 🤣
We'll take him, we'll see u guys next year, good luck in playoffs indians.

Awesome signing I believe. Go Reds in 25'. We lost a legend earlier in the week. Hit King for life. #14.
Cleveland loves Tito- he was special - wish he was still in the Land- but wish Tito well

With the magnitude of the injuries I don't think anyone could have won enough games to make the playoffs.

I think Tito stepped away for health reasons, just like he said. I hope he likes Cincinnati.
nice hat and shades dude

Welcome to the Nati Tito!
If you get a chance to live in Kentucky, you take it
Nothing better.
Better than living in ichigan

Wish him the best, but we'll see how long his health lets him manage.
Tito? Tito? What the F? That was his dad!
We got Derek Johnson in cincy still I don’t imagine he plucks Carl Willis
Is it already 10° in Cleveland?
Maybe Celsius. At night 😂
@RyanCooperSupporter just curious why they're dressed like it's Thanksgiving
Going to the Reds isn't being a traitor. Going to the Yankees would be being a traitor.
@@jimmccullough5496 I've rooted for the Reds and whoever the Yankees play, throughout my entire existence!
The Reds jumped the gun on this firing of Bell because they knew Tito was going to be hired by someone else soin if they didn't.
He is help, but not the long term answer.
Reds are the class of Ohio sports. Always been. Go Reds
Will yall feel some type of way if the Reds win it all under Tito?
