Francona had retired from baseball due to health concerns, but has had a year away from the game to recover, and said the Reds opportunity "just felt right."
I'm excited about having Terry as the Reds New Skipper!!!,All the Reds Players should be as well!!!,Can't wait for February to get here,Bring on Spring Training!!!!!!
I’d love to see Francona grab Charlie Montoyo as his bench coach. They’re very similar in their approaches and Charlie is a heckuva player development guy.
The most knowledgeable man of baseball is sitting in the middle of the table between Nick Krall and Brad Meador. The knowledge Terry Francona has of the game, along with his ability to build a structural sound and discipline team is a big part of his success during his career. The Reds hit it out of the park with the hiring of Terry Francona! Structure and sustained success is a big part of Terry Francona’s resume as a skipper, and he will bring that to Cincinnati. Welcome to Cincy Tito!
as a Cards fan, I welcome Francona to the NL Central. I wish the Cards would've hired him, (when they had the chance in 2012) I know we would've won at least one championship by now. Congrats to the Reds for picking a great manager.
I think Terry Francona will be a great manager for the Reds.

Great hire. Happy for the Reds.

Don't get greedy. Most fans root for teams that haven't seen any championships.
It doesn't matter who you put in as a manager, they will still lose and it's because of the head office who doesn't want to spend money on players
Francona had success in a very similar situation (Cleveland). The Reds will be a contender every year he’s here.
They couldn’t wait till the end of the playoffs to announce this?
