Thanks to the hackers who made this FREE available effect manager. Upload and exchange all the effects of the Zoom MS-50G, MS-60B, MS-70CDR, G1on/G1xon or B1on/B1xon pedal to any of these pedals. Programmer Alexander Puschkarew improved the 'Zoom Effect Manager 2.1.1.' It is now available on www.zoomeffectmanager.com and it's constantly getting better. It also serves custom effects and it's even safe now to unplug your pedal in 'update mode', without breaking the DSP of the Zoom MS pedals. Enjoy! :)
YES - new info for the CDR! Glad you haven't totally given up on it, Kenneth. After seeing your older video, I downloaded and used the effect manager. Will definitely get the new version - a fantastic upgrade! 👍
I love this pedal. For the price, what it delivers is unparalleled. I wish some of these mods could bring about the possibility of sound trails when we switch between the patches that have same effects but different levels. Much like a snapshot
Absolutely love this pedal. I just got it this month and it fits so well within my Hx Stomp's FX loops

I want to thank you again (and the Russian guys along with the programmer) for your first video (it's so much fun!) and now this new one. Greetings from Panama.
Nice. Something I think you missed - he also shrunk the size of the effects by about 15-20% by deleting unnecessary coding, meaning you can cram an extra 15-20% worth of the new version effects onto the pedal before it says the memory is full. And all these new effects are included with the app!
I got a zoom MS 50, again, last weekend and reinstalled the effect manager and a full pedal stock came out of something like 79% full. They used to be somewhere in the high 80s or low 90s if I remember correctly in their stock configuration.
So cool. Thanks for letting me know. Playing samples live is hard but so fun as well. I'm happy to hear you also decided to go that route. Thanks for the nice words, too.
Saludos Kenneth ❤❤
I had no idea you could completely take over the Multistomp! Digging it out and dusting it off. :) And if you don't make something out of that Bass Synth Drum thing, 16:11, you're crazy.
As an owner of MS-100BT the software and video is very instructive. I wish that somehow MS-100BT would be included in the roster. And a custom IR loader that would change the destiny of the multistomp series.
I am a fan of Guitars within Effects, like you have...this is awesome...I olay synths and Guitar but in ine Instrument is much more powerful.....cool..
Really cool if you already own one, but now there are pretty cheap options that can take advantage of more advanced and convincing technology when it comes to amp & cab sims...like the Nux or HB units. I wonder if one day we will be hacking those units in a similar fashion.
Hi Kenneth, I love your channel! I have a question for you. If I have my presets created for my songs but I want to add effects with the zoom manager, do I lose all my previous presets or do I keep them along with the new effects? Cheers from Argentina.
Somehow Zoom nebwr really figured out there "amp sounds" even though they might be the deepest ahead with *the 3 layer IRs* . Zoom...figure some stuff out!
I use the PARA EQ with +-12db, set 20Hz - Q=2 and -12dB , another Fq to 40Hz - Q=1 and +10bB und the Subbass area sound so good on any Subwofer, inkl. sound system. I use KRK10.4
I was wondering if the editor will ever work with the Zoom MS-80IR, as my aim is to only own 1 pedal for all my needs and the 80 seems to be the only one of these series with newer generation amp simulations...
Great to find the latest version of the master editor. I would donate but as you say this option is not active. BTW Has this been scanned for malware? just saying. I should be ok via a VM.
My company accepts this software without any issues and my anti virus software doesn't mind. I think it's fine. But of course - everyone should do that at their own risk.
Cool, but is a stereo compressor available? All stock compressors in the MS70CDR are mono, not that great for stereo drum sounds. Oh and +1 for Flat Eric
I cant get a ms70cdr, but I can get lots of ms50g. I know all the hacking, but are they different pedals? or are they just the same pedal? I still hope to find a ms70cdr.
Question, it would not read my pedal. Shows not connected. I already tried press holding the up and down scrollers and it only offered firmware update. Is the software not plug and play? Im online and using zoom usb. It worked with zoom lab, but not with this. Help pls
Ive loaded mine with tizz and reverb together but where are you trying this in your signal chain? No way to get fuzz in front of ano and reverb in effects loop is there?
Yes!
It's not much of an update really he should make it to where we can use the new effects on the new versions of there ms series pedals like the krampus distortion was one and they got a lot of effects types from like line 6 and fractal and boss and stuff and new amp types I don't want to buy a new zoom pedal just to access a handful more effects on each different unit and why not bring back the sitar simulator too
It is a limit of the memory chip I believe, but it is thousands of times if not ten thousand. Unless you are flashing the drive many times everyday you are not likely to reach the limit
Not yet. I instantly wrote them an email that all of us would be happy if they would add the new MS+ series as well. And they said: They're working on it.
My mistake, the effect is imported, the problem is that I have always used athe tonelib editor and this does not see the added effect but by manually scrolling through the effects, the effect is inside. thank you.
I tried with other effects and the good thing is that it imports all the effects I want but they are not visible to any available editor, not even the official one MS-50G Effect Manager.
I strongly recommend do not setup any of “software editors” in your computer from the “russian hacker guy” even if it works as a “secret musicians hacking useful tools”. Keep digital hygiene on, be aware.
Im sorry but this comment is extremely stupid, the source code of the project is here for you to read on github, nobody would write such a niche program in python and assembler in order to "hack" some musicians or whatever you are implying here
Why didn't u address the new + pedals... You didn't tell us why u haven't used the new pedal and again u ignore the fact that the old pedal has WAY more effects 🤷🤷🤷
Didn't ignore that at all. This video is about the current state of the software. I mentioned many times now that the guys are working on a version with the new + version. So far we only got what we got.

Is it working on the plus version like ms50+g
@@yuikisumii think plus versions have dedicated mobile apps for it. Older versions don’t have any app.

This is one of the very greatest pedals ever. And they just released a new version! The effect manager is such a great service to the world.
The new pedal doesn't work with the effects manager and has way less effects
@@boimesa8190 Yeah, new hardware old software. I'm sure it's a matter of time before new software comes out for it.

Where did i get those drum samples? Dope.
These samples are from a standard 909 kit. I collected many different ones from analogue drum machines. Now I don't know where they all came from.
Cool, but is a stereo compressor available? All stock compressors in the MS70CDR are mono, not that great for stereo drum sounds. Oh and +1 for Flat Eric
Need to check that. Wasn't aware that only mono compression is available.
Perhaps compressor compresses mono input or on a stereo input it sums it up and then splits it out to stereo. Not sure.
@@musicman4christjesus So the left and right output contain the same signal? That's not what I'm looking for.

in the cdr model does it turn what would be mono effects into stereo? if so this would be helpful to use with a sampler

The CDR would be a great pedal if its sound character wasn't so crappy.
It's definitely not high end but I think it's usable for several purposes in different live situations. I suppose (almost) nobody would notice.

Can't make it connect.
It looked so straightforward and easy when you did it but I've had no luck. Might be a MAC thing.
Unless you have one of the pedals on the list, it wont connect.
For some strange reason this app uses the GPU of my machine… without rendering any 3Dgraphics

Is this compatible with the Zoom G5 or has anyone tried?
Not yet, but I know that the programmers are working on more compatibility with other models.
It would make more sense to just have a sample pad on a stand in front of you then to have it (inside) your guitar....ya know??
Didn't feel like it. I simply don't enjoy having too much stuff on a stage. This way it feels more special and fun.
