I always loved Prince. But to tell you the truth after what she went through with him, if it was me I would be so upset and find it hard to forgive him. But she truly loved him and forgave him and still spoke well of him in her book. I many have not been so nice.

My Matthew passed on Christmas morning, 12/25/83 and sometimes it feels like yesterday. My heart breaks for your loss.
Well Amersboo read the book. I expected to feel as you do but after reading the book I found it to be an expression of her life which, yes, included Prince. It was in no way disrespectful.
Mary Riley I agree with you. She didn’t bash him. She just told what she went through and I thought she told a very nice story. She told both their goods and bass. But we all have good and bad things about ourself and in our lives.
I believe this is incredibly sad. No matter how you slice it.
But I mean u have to realize she was very young when she started knowing prince. He's all she really knew. And that life she had with him and in that circle and then if just stopped so that's essentially the primetime of her life. The time she'll always remember and know and think of all the time even if she wasn't necessarily all of his life he was hers.

Seems like a nice person but I lost a lot of respect for her when she did that Hollywood Wives show and paraded around in Prince's underwear she had kept from their time together ! And, discussing him although she knew he was very private and did not want anyone speaking about him in public especially on that tacky, low class show she was "starring" in. She also did a scene where she allowed the cameras to film her using the bathroom. Yuck and tacky. She must have really needed the money back then. The money from the book she sold probably sustains her now financially

it makes me angry that Prince made her go through a C-section for that malformed baby. The doctors were advising them that something was wrong and Prince ignored them and simply prayed instead.
I work in a medical field can't nobody tell a person to get a C-section that's the doctor's decision if the baby is in danger.

That really bother me..I know he was only on this earth for a week but you carried him for 9mouth, you had your son ,you got the chance to have the love of being a mother,even though it was taken so soon , you bring a baby into this world ,some wamen don't get that Im sorry you lost him ,maybe Prince would be here today,But I believe he was so sad,lost hurting, felt alone and something he always wished he could have is gone and for you to say it's only ashes he burned. Unless you were actually around them during their marriage, you don't know what truly happened. And let's not act as if Mayte is 100% innocent here. I have compassion for her because she lost her child, but with Prince's death she saw an opportunity to not only exploit him, but their child as well. She couldn't wait to put that book out right after his death.

I believe this is ultimately why prince got addicted to fentanyl yea he had hip pain but he had emotional pain from loosing the love of his life and his baby that ultimately it took him down he was very unhappy I think for years emotionally after this.
