I have a very good friend that come to the USA from Germany in about 1960. Love her dearly, and she's around 83 yrs old now. We have a lot in common, such as gardening, and talking about German and other countries in Europe. Of course I'm 53, but who cares she is dear to me. I worked in her restaurant for many many years helping out as well. We live in Georgia....and by the way loving your channel.
My family is from Bavaria, and one of the last times my Tante Johanna came to visit she brought sheets of bees' wax and we cut them in different sizes and used shoelaces for the wick. They came out very nice. Hope you enjoyed your date night. Stay well and safe.
From one German to another, neat, orderly, and detail oriented are our good qualities. Won't mention independent and possibly opinionated, or so I've been told. My family came in 1852 from Baden.
I'm fairly new to your channel. Thank you for your interesting, informative, and relaxing videos. I spent a lot of time when I was young, in Central California, making candles, so this took me back. Do you remember sand candles? Before your time, I think. My mother was from Germany, so I particularly enjoy your cozy references. Her twin sister's grandson was here to stay with us last year -- what a joy. Thanks again! ❤
I have been wanting to make desserts with Avacado. Yours looked easy and delish! Thank you for sharing your date night. Hope your husbands back is feeling better. 😊 I know first hand how that feels and I cant sit on chairs like that till my back heals up.
Hope you'll give the avocado chocolate mousse a try! And yes, my husband is feeling better, thank you so much for your wishes and kind comment 💛 ~ Anja
Everything looks so delicious! Beet powder, I grow beets, slice and freeze dry them, then powder them up. Beet powder. The pasta looks oh so good. Your poor husband 😕
Love this video! We need to see more sweet date night ideas.❤
Thank you! So glad you enjoyed it 💛 ~ Anja
I love your husband helping to cut the beeswax into chunks. That was seriously the sweetest.
I am lucky! Wouldn't know what to do without him!
Your voice is so soothing and sweet ❤
Aww … you are so sweet 💛

I made avocado mousse. I wanted to lick the bowl it is so delicious. True, true, true, you do not taste avocado at all, just rich chocolate.
Did you know you have a doppelgänger RUclips channel named Mary’s Nest? 👭
Haha, yes, I know Mary from Mary's Nest 💛
