Avocado oil is a great clean oil. Good for high heat cooking as an option if you’re interested. I love your videos they’re so peaceful, loving, I love learning from you.
Just joined . I cook a lot of salmon and mostly make my immune suppressed dogs food with frozen sockeye salmon. I go through about 4 large bags of frozen filets a month. My husband and I both like salmon patties. I love your healthy cooking and recipes. I'm a 79 year old homemaker who loves to pressure can and water bath foods, bake sourdough breads, pizzas occasionally now that I don't use my wood fired oven as often and watching diet. My husband is a cyclist and races and eats a lot sometimes so he burns his calories much better than I do.
I love that you can say ‘lemons from my garden’ when all I can say is ‘slugs, snails, dead geraniums, and a hair ball from next doors cat from my garden’. Waiting for summer!
Aww … I know … on the clock we are behind but in terms of things growing in the garden we are way ahead. We almost have the Elderberry blooming 😊~ Anja
I always get hungry watching you cook the amazing recipes. I would love to grow those spring onions, would you know what kind of seed I should be looking for? I tried looking it up and Nodding Wild onion seed came up, although it kind of looked more of a chive, so not quite sure what you have? Thank you for the inspiration in the kitchen. 🤗
I am so happy to hear you're enjoying those videos! Apparently you can find them all throughout North America: foraging.sycamore.garden/plants/edible-wild-onions-garlic 😊 ~ Anja
Regarding your phone blacking out, if you go into settings on your phone, there is an option you can choose to keep it from doing that, thereby enabling you to follow a recipe without your phone blacking out. Google can tell you the exact steps once you’re in settings. 😊
For years I was afraid to eat salmon because of suppers of patties with bones and skin in them. Thank God, I tried the skinless and boneless salmon and salmon fillets.
No, that has wider leaves, that don't come together at the base. Wild garlic looks like lilly of the valley. These might be walking onions, babbingtons leek, or something similar, if they just appear all over the place in the spring
Yum...all of your recipes look so tasty 😋 Thank you for sharing! 😊
Yay … I am so happy you enjoyed them 🥗🍲😊 ~ Anja
Everything looked so delicious and beautiful, I am inspired to add the Risotto and salmon cakes to my next week’s menu. Thank you for sharing.

Is there a printable version of your Risotto? I couldn’t find the recipe.
No but I made a short 😊: ruclips.net/user/shortsFlhFds1KmIs?si=_tRj2dD-91D9VVCo

My son makes Baerlauch butter.
Yummy! The best 🌱🌱~ Anja
Is this like Baerlauch? WILD garlic?

It is similar and in the same plant family 😊 ~ Anja
