Hi George, My goodness I didnt really think it was to bad until you started. That Ivy just takes over everything. I dont mean anything nasty towards the owners or any thing like that by asking this question, How long would it take for the carpet of Ivy? Or what ever it was to get that bad?? They will get more sunshine now you trimmed and cut the tree infront of the window. You are so particular with what you do it does make a huge difference from other channels i have watched. Such a small piece in front of the house and it took a lot of work. Just take the ivy down or the overgrown grass by the big bush. That was really hard work. When I saw the house in new clothes and decoration, it was a pleasure to look at it. I think the owners are also very happy. And you also washed their path and the area around the house, the difference in the bush was striking there. For me it's always an adventure when you work, it's a wonderful change every time. You did an excellent job of uncovering a gem. English ivy is nice in the right setting, but I know first hand how "out of hand" it can get. Had to pull a ton of it off my house when first moving in. Your attention to detail is a pleasure to watch. This job is a 10-+ out of 10. The fact you power washed their wall and part of the drive is a bonus the homeowners probably didn't expect. Kudos to you.
If you ever take a 13845 km occasional walk let me know, it may involve some light swimming. Great job. Some may view ivy covered homes as charming but it can get pretty destructive. You opened up his yard and most likely opened up his heart too.

I would say quite a few years for it to get to that condition. I did speak to the owner about keeping weed spray on it all to keep it under control 🙂

Hi Pat, i used to have helpers, but i work alone now. I live in Tasmania, Australia and with the mower blades we mainly use a a four blade system 🙂

We’ve seen orchards, tight spaces, tons of blackberries, beautiful gardens, and some incredibly steep properties that’s typical with a coastal community. This job, while small, was a huge project.
