The Hot Trains of La Plata - A Week On The Marceline Sub - Day 4 - June 15th, 2022

It is day four of our trip along BNSF's famed Marceline Subdivision between Fort Madison, IA and Kansas City, MO. On this day, we opted to stay near our hotel in La Plata and scatter some spots along this stretch of track near the famed small town. Some spots include La Plata's Amtrak station, Santa Fe Lake On the outskirts of town, and Gibbs, MO at an overpass. Train action on this day remained rather steady, with some heavy spells, and some dead periods. La Plata's Amtrak Station was still under heavy renovation during the time of our visit, as you can see in this video. Thanks for taking the time to view this video, and until next time!
