Thanks for your nice and clear video. I must say you are a lot more patient than me... Now that i know what we have to go thru to change just one battery pack, this wheel is not for me. I will go with the Begode Extreme thank you.

I have a new Patton coming in a few weeks, thank you for this video. Very interesting. PS: I bet you guys are so thankful for the modern bit drivers tools. My wrists hurt just thinking about installing all those screws by hand.

use power tools, not electric drill, but electric bolt/screw driver. No more stripped screws heads

Thank you for very detailed video. Despite the already given info, would like to ask you couple of additional questions.
    1. Aluminium body with lots of threaded holes. How do you see the durability of all those very short (case thickness) threads?
    2. How tight are you tightening all the screws? As I can see you are using some manometric wrench, where is the information about the specific torque to tighten the screw?
    3. What can be done when you eventually break the thread? I assume that it is only the matter of time... aluminium+short threads.

Guess any Patton owner who plans on doing their own work had best invest in an electric screwdriver. Despite all the screws, it still looks like a very nice wheel..
A question for off-road riders with experience with both large and small wheels: Will the larger diameter wheels (Sherman S, Master Pro, etc) traverse rough terrain better than a smaller diameter wheel such as the Patton? The Patton would have torque due to its small size, but would that be negated because the smaller wheel/tire would struggle more with the rough stuff?

Have you noticed any clunking sounds over rough terrain, from the batteries bouncing up and down inside the boxes?

At 6:54 a breach in the battery pack can be seen at the bottom of the pack where the battery cable come out to join to the other pack.

I heard its only youtubers and testers that recieve the battery separate, it lowers shippingcost. When us normal dudes get our pattons, there should not be any battery installations. Its good to go.

Thanks Kevin. Do the wheel not come with the batteries pre-installed or will everyone have to install the batteries themselves?
Have you noticed any differences from the beta version to the production version?

No difference apart from new firmware updated.
