Fun Fact: The Broncos were watching the outcome of the NFC Championship game and we’re shocked but relieved when the Vikings lost. That distraction nearly cost them this game until they finally refocused!
The players were already on the field by the time the Vikings vs Falcons game was ending. They would’ve only been able to see or hear the score. There was no distraction. They’re lying because they don’t want to admit they were losing 10-0 at halftime to the Jets.
@@canesinsider9353 yes it's true. I was there they were warming up and they were playing the ending of Vikings/Falcons game it was a huge distraction at first
Had the Jets not blown this game after going up 10-0, it would have been Parcells 3rd team he had taken to the Super Bowl in his career (Giants and Patriots previously obviously)
Speaking of the Jets and The Patriots, The Jets have had some wierd luck against the patriots. Who knows how good the Jets would have been had Vinny testeverde not gotten injured against the Patriots in game one of the 1999 season and who knows if tom brady would have even had a career had jets linebacker mo Lewis not injured drew bledsoe

4:07 / 7:29 This play is a thing of beauty. It's what OL coaches dream about. Everybody is blocked but on safety who the HOF runner easily beats. Their running game was at another level at that time. Teams are still trying to duplicate it today.
How the F&$& was McCaffrey that opened? You just scored and too excited and got blown coverage and let that team get back into rhythm so quick killed you🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️
I’ll go to my grave saying this. Elway is the most overrated QB of all time not named Joe Namath. He was a mediocre passer. If it weren’t for Shanahan and TD, he would have retired with no rings and probably wouldn’t have gotten into the HOF. He only got to those 3 SB’s in the 80’s because the AFC was a flat out joke and the 4 best teams in the league were in the NFC (Skins, Niners, G-men and Bears). Had Elway and the Broncos been in the NFC in that time period, they wouldn’t have made it to the Super Bowl. At best, they were basically the Buddy Ryan/Randell Cunningham Eagles of that same era.
john spano he was a mediocre passer who had a QB rating of under 80 and even in that era, that’s average at best. Elway was overhyped his entire pro career. I can name at least 10 QB’s who played in the same era I would take over him. Dan Marino, Joe Montana, Warren Moon, Troy Aikman, Brett Favre, Steve Young, Jim Kelly, Randell Cunningham, Boomer Esiason, and Bernie Kosar. Also, the clutch Elway myth needs to die. He has 3 TD passes in 5 Super Bowl appearances.
john spano Elway led the NFL in passing ONCE in his 16-year career. He NEVER lead in passing TDs (highest finish: 2nd, 1993) He NEVER lead in QB rating (highest finish: 3rd, 1993) He NEVER lead in YPA (highest finish: 3rd, 1987) Most years, he wasn't even close
Maggot 1986 those are all just stats. Most people forget that Elways numbers were held down because of Dan Reeves. He only asked Elway to let it rip like Marino when they were desperate in a game. It caused a riff between Elway and Reeves. The broncos owner once stated he fired Reeves because he knew Elway was fully capable of putting up numbers like Marino or Kelly but knew it was Reeves system holding him back. But like I said, those are just stats. QB stats are determined by the offensive system just as much as they’re determined by talent.

Great game
Wish it’s was the Jets vs Vikings in this Super Bowl
How come there isn't official NFL highlights on their RUclips page?

This and the 2009 championship game the two most crushing games of my life as a jet fan obviously followed by 2010
