I have small set of carbothello pencils. Would like to get the other two brands but they're a little pricier.

Just buy them in singles rather than the sets... you could get away with just buy one White... faber Castell or Caran d'Ache Azurite white.

6:24 What did you mean if area is fresher use Faber castell or caran d'ache and if it's not so fresh use carbello pencils?

Hi Gina, it is when an area seem to glow more and bright and fresh, where the fabercastell or Caran d' Ache white gives the right results. I use carbOthello white when the area is more subdued. I then glaze over the white will colour.
