Even if a fake one does appear, the differences between it and a genuine Aeron are easy to spot. When you buy a new chair directly from Herman Miller, you can be sure it's authentic. The same applies when buying a refurbished chair from reputable sellers in the US!
The original bolts are just DIN7981 with TX drive and not anything rare or special.
