    Not to make you feel praised but sir ‘You are the best Teacher I’ve ever met’. I can’t believe I enjoy lecture videos just like the way I enjoy movies. Very simple way of learning, I laugh most times at your use of pun and funny comments😂. Thanks for making the world of learning a better place.

    While using succinylcholine as muscle relaxant respiratory paralysis occurs. This paralysis is not antagonised by acetylcholinesterase inhibitor. By giving ache inhibitors like pyridostigmine, Ach increases and increases the duration of paralysis.

    Hello sir i have sort of a private question, did you finish studying medicine in Egypt and what medicine universities do you think are decent? Love your videos keep up the great work.

    • @MedicosisPerfectionalis
      @MedicosisPerfectionalis  3 года назад +44

      Most of my medical education was in Egypt. Most universities-that teach medicine-are terrible all over the world. I teach medical students in USA, Canada, Hong Kong, Australia, Japan, UAE,...etc., and the medical education they receive is not great. The secret sauce is you. If you really want to learn, you will find many ways to it (good textbooks, atlases, teachers, videos, audios, courses, lectures, apps,...etc whether online or offline). For instance, there was a brand new Gray’s Anatomy Textbook in my university’s library. I was the only one reading it. Even Anatomy professors and assistant professors were shy to approach it. Your medical education is your responsibility. Be diligent and persistent and you have no idea how good you can be.
      Good luck 🍀

      @@MedicosisPerfectionalis thank you sir, I really have a strong passion for medicine even since I was a child and I'm fascinated by the wonders of the human body. Hopefully I will be able to enter med school after I finish my high school ALevels. You and other youtubers such as ninja nerd lectures and aramdo hasudangun and chubbyemu really made studying medicine from random books i find at the library extremely fascinating, thank you for everything you did and how much you helped many students around the world, I will forever be your student. Wish you the best of luck.

    How does neostigmine antagonize the effect of the depolarizing drug in phase 2 while it augments it's effect in phase 1?

    • @LagoCamair
      @LagoCamair 6 месяцев назад

      I think because in phase 1 where it is depolarising, the action of ACh increases(d/t increased inhibition of AChE by neostigmine) hence aiding phase 1. And in phase 2 where the cells are tired of firing and want to stop, neostigmine would be opposing that effect. Hope it makes sense.

    Local anaesthetics cause hypertension via intrinsic sympathomimetic acitvity and hypotension in cardiac toxicity, so what is it overall?

    • @edwardherrera846
      @edwardherrera846 Год назад

      Local anesthetics don’t cause hypertension. That wouldn’t make any sense. Now cocaine, the only naturally occurring local anesthetic, has some sympathomimetic properties. But the other local anesthetics don’t unless you mix epi with the local (which is done every day).

    Why C fibers are most susceptible to local anaesthesia ?

    • @MedicosisPerfectionalis
      @MedicosisPerfectionalis  3 года назад +1

      Because they are the smallest in diameter (and unmyelinated), so the local anesthetic agent will penetrate the C fibers the easiest.

      How A fibers are metabolically active more than C fibers although A fibers consume less Na/K Atpase pump less than C fibers ??!
      I think Na/K pump needs more O2 therefore metabolically active,, right ???!
