There is no buttermilk in this recipe only milk and if you want to make your own buttermilk then every cup of milk just add 1 1/2 tablespoons white vinegar let rest for 5 minutes and buttermilk is ready
Such a great recipe! Is ok to use green bananas or plantain in this recipe? Wouldn’t it be more of a Mauritian recipe if green bananas or plantain are used? I’m thinking of having a less sweet cake given the amount of sugar that you added.
Ok this recipe requires over ripe bananas if you want less sweet then reduce the sugar by half but it seems to be like I added a lot of sugar but the cake is huge and is not overly sweet
