This was originally composed by Ustad Rais Khan Saheb Niladri is his big big fan and yes main khayaal hoon kisi aur ka was also composed by the great Rais khan saheb.

To be very honest, the way Niladriji plays the sitar is so much better than his zitar. He is very well-suited to pure classical music. I mean, he is very good in light classical, but yeah pure classical of him can’t be matched with his semi classical
