Misfiring or backfiring. Backfiring or constant engine sputtering can be a sign that the ignition coil is in poor shape

How do you see which coalpack is dead??
You can just swap COILS and see how the engine sounds with a diagnostic tool Or test the windings with a multimeter
I'm having an issue with mine after servicing the car changed the spark plugs when leaving garage the car started shaking and engine management lihjt would pop on and off. After I went back and had to chage one of the ignition coils but now 2 days after its shaking and management light pops and off
Hi. I dont get a spark on either of them. Is it possible that all 4 of them would stop working at the same time? Car suddenly stoped working while driving and it wouldnt turn on. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

Polo vivo wetting the spark plug
My vw polo, does have start up problem (not every time), i turn ignition, start up and sometimes it won’t go. Then turn off and do it over and it start perfectly. It’s not just with bad weather it’s all sorts of weather.. does anyone know what the problem can be? I’m in need of help

The chances are, one bad coil would cause rough running, but wont prevent the car from starting. If you have multiple bad coils then yea it could stop it starting
Hi is there any special tips when replacing the ignition coil as the new ones ive bought do not slot all the way down like the old ones?
Did you change the spark plugs also? Maybe the spark plug is longer
DFC Garage yeah i replaced the spark plugs, how would i get them to fit with the new coils? Is there something i need to adjust?
Nothing to adjust. If the engine runs good is not a problem, the new ignition coil ist original from vw or is aftermarket?
