    I've upgraded mine with precision barrel and psionic AEP THO-R bucking. It needed some additional work to fit the barrel, but man, it was the easiest and most efficient upgrade I could have done. Currently shoots about 220 fps with hop set up, and that bucking is magnificent, hops easily 0.25s. I am so happy with it that I also use it in CQB arena and I'm really competitive with it (even against players maxed out on 1J). SSE18 is really great

    If you put an oring on your thread before you tighten the suppressor on it'll help it stay straight

    He's right about the oring, I put em on all my guns, and it makes them straighter, fitbetter, and more secure

    I have this see18 as well. Same rate of fire and range as my snow wolf Pulse Rifle. Pretty impressive for such a little thing! most of the noise comes from the fireing mechanismen so covering the back with your hand quietens the gun more than the supressor does!

    • @rdb9936

      You found any way to quieten it? I experimented with putting a bit of tape round it, but not sure if others have found a cleverer way

    Does that holster work without a belt? Would I be able to wear the universal holster just with normal sweat pants?

    you can just crank down on the suppressor screw, it feels wrong, but that’s what I did and it made it A LOT straighter.

    Cyma Gen 5 AEPs are only available from the german retailer begadi. The 11.1v compatability and the burst feature comes from a efcs system called the begadi core. I think begadi takes gen3 aeps and modifies them for thier shop. Everything else (including the sse18 because cyma obviously produces it) is still running on cyma gen3. Modding these is not the easiest time btw.

    I kinda want an AEP and try installing a 1/18 RC car motor in it as well as a mosfet, li-po (preferably an 11.1v if I can find a small one), new rubber and barrel. Try and give those little things a really good fighting chance.
    Any way, have you had a chance to play around with the PC-1 from Storm yet? I was close to buying it on impulse today but was reminded I already bought the Tomahawk that I haven't had the chance to field yet haha

    • @nickqqqq1
      @nickqqqq1 6 месяцев назад

      Unless you mean to replace it the SSE18 already has a MOSFET installed. And there are 11.1v lipos that can fit it but the mAh is lower.

    U gotta weigh the 100 rd mag cuz its all plastic and holds 3x the amount for only $16 and the universal holster works better for a quick draw and perfect for a kids first airsoft gun cuz of no gas and affordable ... i carry one in the gun and 2 in the double holster and 300 rds is enough for a backup when sniping

    Novritsch's website says the modular suppressor is meant to clamp onto their thread protector, not onto the bare thread. That would seem to be why it was loose.

    • @CammanExtra
      @CammanExtra  2 месяца назад +1

      Thread protector for SSP18. This is the SSE18 which screws onto 14mm ccw.

    • @PaulVinger
      @PaulVinger 2 месяца назад

      Got it... didn't realize they carry three versions. Got the SSP18 version - very tight fit and fiddly to align perfectly, but after snugging it down, it can be unscrewed like a threaded compensator (thread protector comes off with it).

    Just out of curiosity, since you were using hpa, why not buy the hpa shotgun shell adapter for your glock or aap01? That's what I changed to since swapping over to hpa, absolute game changer. The shells are what £3 holds 30 rounds, can easily carry 10 shells so 300 rounds, only downfall is having to switch lines . Something to think about, bud.

      It’s an electric pistol and they always suck. If you want a pistol get a gbb because they will always perform better. You can only fit so much for electronics in such a small place. Much easier to maintain gbb pistols too.

      @@orangeelephant3026 There’s guides to make them work well in winter with modifications and using red gas or black gas. Good quality ones will do well most of the time stock but improvements can always be added with modifications. What temperatures are you talking?

      i was on a gameday at about -10 degrees celsius today. Making Gbbs work reliably in such conditions could be difficult, although possible. Aeps on the other hand dont care about temperature. For cqb or as an emergency backup 80 bbs at like 22 rps should be plenty. 0.5 joules are less then 0.8-1 joule out of most gbbs but at backup distances you can still feel it. Its personal preference in the end, reliability and ease of use or kick and feel...@@gabecollins5585

    He basically stole Cyma Gen 5 and made it under his name. Typical Novritsch. He sells SSE18 mags for 13€ each while cyma does for 7€

    • @nickqqqq1
      @nickqqqq1 6 месяцев назад +4

      Unless it’s because of American pricing the SSE18 mags are $3 cheaper. I feel like there was a lot more work put towards the whole guns ecosystem then the CYMA Gen 5. Also by the looks of it the mags are interchangeable.
