- The VSR, the Airsoft sniper platform that has stood the test of time. It's been many wanna be Airsoft Snipers first step into the world of Airsoft Sniping. I take a VSR10 Clone, a Cyma CM701 and shove in some upgrades to try and get the best from this classic rifle.

Have you used the Maple leaf Decepticon? I absolutely fell in love with it and put it in all of my sniper replicas. I use the 70 degree one. 10/10 would recommend.

Hi Camman, hope you're good. If you can get the magnetic Flux trigger it is definitely worth it. The bearing on the spring guide stopper makes the pull push of the piston super smooth and precise. The trigger mech works really well. Very easy to adjust. Keep an eye out on Tridos.

I use the same exact rifle!
My specs:
-"upgraded version" cylinder and 90degree trigger
-Stock cylinder head with a 20x4mm o ring glued to it.
- Airsoftpro Piston, spring, spring guide
- Stock chamber
- Modify SSX 6.03 430mm inner barrel
- Modify X-range bucking
- Airsoftpro concave hop-up arm.
- Barrel spacers.
- TDC

Great video! Love your builds! I also really appreciated you’re crafting tips in the beginning there! I’ve been interested in adding some Ghillie elements to my sniper set-up and was wondering if you have any recommendations on sourcing halo-screen. The kmcs agm seems to be the best but it’s usually out stock and hard to get especially here in the U.S. I know Novritsch also sells meshes but I’ve heard mixed reviews about the color, especially the greens. Curious as what your opinion on meshes/halo-screen is! Cheers!

CamMan, can vouch for that SM barrel. Not sure if I got a fluke, but it’s straightest inner barrel I’ve ever seen. Put a Modify X-range 55 in it. Trust me, I’ve compared it to the X-range 70 and the 65 and the 55 performs better. Extremely consistent with lovely trajectory. Interested what that Flamingo Noir is though - presume you’re not allowed to say more until it’s out properly?
I have the CM701 with almost the same setup as yours, but with the upgraded hopup "grey AA damping type" and TDC 2 installed.
Can I ask how you set up the scope cam and barrel cam eg, is the scope cam integrated or just on the side of the scope ? I always see crosshairs on the videos ?

The only green Raffia I use is some my friend Recon Raffia made for me. Alas, he doesn’t make it anymore. It’s tough to get a good green when dying Raffia.

No, no lube should go anywhere near the bucking or inner barrel.
Still rocking a SSG24 but I don't get those consistent straight shots. Haven't changed anything from stock so my question is if these upgrades would do it? Or anything else I should swap out for better performance? I'm using a 4J spring 😎
I'm considering Dan's 430mm barrel for my T10 with existing AAred hop and Tridos fitted .
I'm still using the stock AA barrel and had to use a ML 2021 autobot (60) as it was the only bucking that the patch fit through the barrel cutout.
I'd already bought a flamingo 60A and a Modify X55 off Kenny, but both patches are too wide to fit through the oem barrel window; so it looks like I'll have to buy a barrel.
Too nervous to file the oem window wider, because if I end up doing it off kilter (which I probably would) I'd just be introducing more problems lol.

6.00/6.01 tightbore crew or preference for the 6.03/6.08 widebore boyz ?
I don't know whether to go ML crazyjet 6.03 , the SniperMechanics one, or wait patiently for Pete's XT tightbore offering (if ever the factory produce something to Pete's high standards).
Also, where are you on the spring guide with or without thrust bearing argument?, for easing pull and reducing spring coil-up (and potentially shrinking fps shot to shot variation).

What are you using for barrel stabilisers inside your outer barrel?
I should have shown it. There’s a Novritsch stabiliser in there.
Unfortunately I killed my SSG10 putting a TDC in😅, hop doesnt work at all. Havent had the time to look at it properly yet but hopefully its easy to fix
Would it work to run USB cabels through the stock for a stock Novritsch SSG10 a-1?

How did you camo the RIF is it paint or tape?
A question to camman: did. you change the original hop up block of the cyma 701 b ? It Looks like a ssg10 hop up block and does it fits on the cyma stock ?
@Camman Extra I would love to know which scope ring rail you found that's clamped to the barrel for your camera! I haven't been able to find one that is so low profile! Cheers, and great video!
It’s something I made from an old scope mount.
X-range bucking kept folding and even spilt in my ssg10 so just went with the flamingo, where did you get noir bucking from?

Hey CM! Just a quick question - Is there any reason why you havent made this one HPA? Is there a reason youd pick a Spring sniper rifle over an HPA powered one?
Sometimes I play places that don’t allow HPA. It’s also nice to have options.
What kind of fps are you getting with this set up? Also, speaking of just the rifle's upgrades, how much would someone be spending to recreate this build?
It’s about 2.2joules with a 0.45g.
Looking at around £650 ($800) or so including the rifle.

Probably around 2.32j. Most sites in the uk have that as the bolt action limits
