    Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. I didn't even know about the bleach background files. Love RUclips and love your T Shirt Designing. I love the bleaching designs of a T Shirt. But, winter time in Western PA brings the cold weather. So, this is perfect.

    Hi, your videos have helped me so much! I truly appreciate all you do. I discovered something really cool with bleaching. I experimented by spraying a rubber wood grain paint roller with bleach and rolling it across my shirts. They ended up being super popular!

    I love this! I am just learning how to use mockups and I love how you take the time to explain all the different ways to use them, and all the ways to get to where you need to be to use them. Thanks for your time and knowledge!!😃👍

    Hi Emma! Love your our upbeat, positive personality and how informative you are! Thank you! 💜 I was wondering if you could possibly do a video on how you organize your files (designs, fonts etc) and keep your computer running super fast? I have an imac and it's getting really slow. I have my most of my files automatically uploaded to the icloud however I do have many fonts I've installed but I don't think that would be the issue since I don't have a crazy amount installed just my favorite ones and it's still slow. Thank you so much in advance! 🙏💜

      Thanks so much for watching! I use an external hard drive that I plug in anytime I need a file; this helps to not bog down my computer's storage.

    I’m so happy I came across your videos. I am new to sublimation and bleaching. How do I make my bleach shirt match the mock up shirt?

    • @EmmasCottage
      @EmmasCottage  2 года назад

      I'm happy you found my videos too! You bleach the shirt, wash and dry it, then press the sublimation image on the shirt.

    I can see the yellow caution sign next to the plaid purple layer, because it looks like your purple layer might have been too large for Print then Cut (aka PTC) at the time this video was made. With the new update for PTC, new size this wouldn’t be an issue.

    just love your work and the time you take to explain. Question though if I do a screen shot of a design and have the text whited then sublimate with the letters show up in white or whatever color the tee shirt tee is and/or would I need to slice it in cricut design. hope this makes sense thank you

    • @EmmasCottage
      @EmmasCottage  2 года назад

      Sublimation ink is transparent for the most part and you cannot sublimate the color white. So if you want part of the shirt white you would have to bleach that are and do an outline of the words in a darker color. I hope that makes sense.

    I’m clueless when it comes to mock-ups! How do you get this mock-up to social media or a website to be able for people to see and order? Thanks!

    • @EmmasCottage
      @EmmasCottage  2 года назад +2

      Take a screenshot and save it to your desktop or any file on your computer. Then take the image and share it wherever you’d like. I don’t teach the how to’s of websites or social media but I’m sure there are lots of great tutorials on RUclips you could search.

      @EmmasCottage  2 года назад +1

      No need to be sorry! Questions are how you learn! I don't recall exactly where I got these ones but I typically find them from Etsy or Design Bundles. Just search up t-shirt mock up. You can even search the exact shirt brand.

    Hey! I’m not new to sublimating and bleaching but I am new to making mock-ups! How did you make the t-shirt with jeans, shoes image? That’s what I’m having a hard time learning to find or make those cute backgrounds so I don’t have to buy the shirts, make them and hope someone buys 😂😭

    • @EmmasCottage

      I purchased mine from an Etsy shop.

  • @kecnana1038

    Hi Emma what I was trying to ask is how would you get that plaid background on a shirt. Is it sublimation and then your bear is sublimated on top of that? Do you have a video showing how to do that plaid? Thanks and sorry I’m new to all this and don’t get it.

    • @EmmasCottage
      @EmmasCottage  2 года назад +2

      If I were to combine the plaid background with the bear, then I would move the bear on top of the plaid background and then save the image. I would then print the image as one, not two separate images. You typically do not want to press more than once as it can fade the first image. Hopefully this makes sense.

    hi Emma, i just absolutely love all your videos. I am new to this. I have a? on the mockup. how or can i use the template of the bleach effect and a picture or design for sublimation. in other words, instead of actually bleaching my shirt just use the template and add what i want to the front layer and and have it print out like it looked on the video, I was a bit confused cause i thought you said you couldn't sublimate the template. idk I'm confused cause i would really rather do it this way instead aof the actual bleach method. thank you in advance

    • @EmmasCottage
      @EmmasCottage  2 года назад +1

      Thanks so much for watching Deedee! This is a very common question and it would be amazing if it were that easy! Unfortunately sublimation ink is transparent and does not print the color white. So that is why we have to bleach the area first then sublimate the image onto the bleached area. The digital template is only to be used to recreate the look digitally so that we can A.see if we like it, B.share with others to see if it would sale.

I have some got my fur babies and needed to get their names on the cases and have no idea where to start with it.. it would be greatly appreciated if you could help

      I have not tried sublimating on leather yet, sounds like fun! I'll have to do some research!

  • @kecnana1038

    So are you sublimating on top of a sublimation?

    • @EmmasCottage
      @EmmasCottage  2 года назад +1

      I'm not sure what you mean. In this tutorial I was showing how I digitally mockup a picture to make it look like a bleached shirt, then place your sublimation design or any image on top of the picture to show what it would look like. There have been so many times that I bleach a shirt, place a sublimation design on it, then discover that I do not like it. If I would have mocked it up first, I wouldn't have wasted a shirt. You can also use these digital designs for advertising on a website.
