I just converted an Epson ET-2400 to a sublimation printer and printed on the Easy Subli without issue. I chose photo semi gloss paper and high quality for the color. No wheel marks and it turned out great.
I have a question about the Easy Subli. I just bought some over Christmas a long with a printer. Only issue is, it says there are 4 sheets in the package. There are 4 larger white ones the size of paper, then 4 smaller ones that are weird. There is nothing on the package to tell me what they are. I’ve been watching videos to see is someone will show them and explain them to those of us new at this, but no one is doing that. Help
I have tried easy subli multiple times and have screwed it up EVERYTIME being it's not exactly cheap stuff I gave up on trying but watching your video tonight changed my mind! I'm pulling out my easysubli and back at it tomorrow I'm SO excited now thank u for explaining everything step by step so well in ur videos!! Thank u thank u thank u!!
YOU ARE AMAZING!!!! I wanted to make hoodies for my grandson's hockey championship game this weekend and after watching your video I am SO PROUD to say they came out beautiful!!! You are great at teaching and explaining Thank YOU!!!!
Thank you! The tutorial in printing from Microsoft helped me have a way to print larger from Cricut without the pixalation I sometimesn had occur in other formats. I enjoy your channel!
You're so calm, confident, creative, and great at everything do- I love watching your tutorials! But, I'm totally confused right now! When you sublimated the pattern to the lip outline, HOW did the EasySubli not get stuck to the parchment paper???
Thank you so much for being very detail. Initially I thought the video was going to drag because its pretty long. But I was wrong, You discuss all my concerns. Thanks again. Great job! My project came out great.
Oh believe me, I agree, too long! I always strive to speed it up but don’t succeed as there are too many fine details! Thanks for watching and sharing your comments!
Thank-you for your very educational video. I used the snipping tool method to print a large design I created in Design Space that I did not want to use print and cut. It worked perfect!!! Thanks again for sharing your knowledge with us!
Im so glad I found you. I was ready to throw out the box of easy subli. Nothing worked for me. I am ready to try this. I absolutely love that you respond to all of your messages from your followers. You have a new fan here ❤️
This is awesome! thank you for sharing. Quick question - the basic cut image on cricut was resized to allow cut from cricut. I do not understand how it fitted to the Word image which was bigger in size.
So excited! I haven’t even watched it yet, but a company I order vinyl from sent me the wrong order and it had this in it. They let me keep the order and I haven’t used it yet bc I am clueless! Now the best teacher gets to walk me through it !!!!!
I wish I had seen your video first your so right you can’t run the easy subli thru your Epson you get weird lines and just a hot mess Thanks for your tips 🙌🏼 I will try it again. 😊
Thank you Thank you Thank you! This information was great - I just successfully made myself a black tank using EasySUbli this morning thanks to your great directions! Love your channel!

Hello Emma, I am new to this using htv for sublimation. I was able to print one sheet nut tried again and it is not printing. The sheet is not being feed, I have seen others use epson echtank. Please advice
I wasted about 10 sheets of easy subli for one reason or another. I was told i needed the transfer sheet and didn't understand the difference. Not did i mess up trying to use the transfer sheet as the easy subli. I finally got that straight and tried using the correct easy subli and it would not feed in the printer. Alas i found s video where someone taped a piece of copy paper to the shiny side on the easy subli and tried to feed it. It worked like a champ. I did 17 prints like that in easy subli with not a single mishap. So YES it is possible to print directly. Also doing it as the young lady does works awesome. We appreciate these videos and in no way am i saying there is only 1 way to do this.
Emma, I just watched your video. You explained very well. However, I have a question. You removed the cover sheet of the easy subli after you cut it, you removed the backing and then pressed the sublimation onto the easy subli. I followed your directions, but I used butcher paper because I only have waxed parchment. Welllll, the butcher paper stuck and I cannot peel it off. What did I do wrong????
Thank you so much for the tutorial you made this look so easy I am going to try this I just want to ask one question can you use butcher paper to sandwich the easy sublimate and the sublimate paper together or can you only use the parchment paper but thank you again I absolutely love this video
I purchased the parchment paper yesterday from your youtube channel, and got it today. I tried the mask yesterday it worked pretty good but it's hard to match up. Any ideas on how to make that easier. I just can't afford a sawgrass right now as much as I would want to. Keep making those videos girl...you're amazing!!!!! I have you on in the background all the time when doing orders.
Wonderful! Honestly, it comes down to practice, practice, practice and becoming more comfortable with the products and confident in yourself! You can do it!
Thank you so much for your video, most was easy to follow and I'm sure after several more watches I'll have it down. I do have one question that may have been asked all ready, if i have an actual Epson Sublimation printer will it work with the EasySubli or do I still need to use this process?
Wonderful Video!!! I think Ive bought about everything on the list, but wanted to ask what do you use on the top of your heat press with the magnets? :) Thank you!
Hi what setting should I put my cricut machine to cut the easysubli? Also do you have a video on how to set up a 15000 Epson printer for ink? And the settings you put the printer to print the colors as accurate as possible?
When you sublimate the last step, 1. does it show on the teflon sheet? 2. Also, can you reuse the teflon sheet? I know i can't reuse the butcher. 3. Is there a reason why you use teflon over butcher? Thanks. Love your videos
I never directly use my teflon sheet. My teflon is only used to protect my press as an extra precaution. I use Parchment paper usually, and yes, sometimes you can reuse it if the image didn't transfer off onto the sheet.
Fist of all my Epson works great just pring on the sublimation htv if you have lines on your Epson you need to clean the tips prug clean just flow the direction on the Epson screen just use regular copy payer for testing if there lines. Save you Salvamation paper I've done many things just printing on to it and it's amazing how much brighter it is April without any film on it just paid attention which one you're using on which side you're have down on your sublimation I buy and so if you cut the sublimation iron that on to your shirt first just a couple seconds it worked easier that way then you just lay you sublimation sheet with your design right on it.ive had great luck . But it you do it that way make sure you cut it. First
I always want my images larger than Cricut's print and cut allows, that is why I print my images from word. I prefer EasySubli over printable HTV only because I think the HTV feels thicker on the shirt and EasySubli feels thinner.
Thank you for your video. When you cut your easysubli shiny side down matte up and then weed the excess. You are left with your cut file on the transfer paper. Is the transfer carrier paper supposed to cut with the easysubli or am i just going peel if off the carrier sheet. It doesn't seem to have the same floppy look like when you peeled yours.
Thank you for doing this video - it's exactly what I needed! I'm getting ready to do a lot of transfers using this & I have the ET15000. One question - do you have to do press it on the shirt right away? I don't have the shirts & sweatshirts yet so if I can get the transfers ready prior to them arriving that will save me a lot of time!
@@EmmasCottage I agree with the gap closure, you’re doing that prior to contour. I’m saying Once you go to contour, hide all and choose the very top and see what it looks like.
Love this. I love working with Microsoft Word. I did notice that when I brought the image up in Word that the center of my image has a + sign in it. Do you know how to remove the image?
The reason you see the + sign is because you had the image selected within Cricut Design Space. You need to unselect the image by clicking anywhere else on the screen then you can do the screen shot.
How did you get your cutter to cut the easysubli when there were no guide lines lines for it to read before it starts the cut?. My Maker 3 won't cut it because it cannot read the lines (that are not there).
Shiny side down, the dull/textured side is the EasySubli that you need to cut with the blade. The shiny side is the carrier sheet that sticks to the mat.
I just tried this method using an easy press 3 and it melted the easysubli to the parchment paper. Pressed for 60 sec at 385. Could it be too much pressure? Also I did not use my cricut mat, I pressed on top of a wood piece. Thank you
I had this happen to me once when I had my easysubli adhesive side up and image side down, that was an error on my part and the only thing different than I’d done before. Not sure if that was the reason but it could be.
Do you think you could sublimate the image and then cut it in design space? I have a few designs that just have words that I want to try this method on before I use HTV.
I used another parchment paper with the easy subli and it was glued to the parchment paper after I sublimated it. Will this parchment paper Not stick to the easy subli and prevent from doing it?
Did you use the same parchment paper I used? I’ve never had it stick to the parchment paper so I’m not sure what happened? I’ve heard other had this problem and they either used the incorrect kind of parchment (kind with a wax coating) or their heat and pressure were too high.
I did not use the Print and Cut option. In this tutorial, I explain my work around for cutting larger images. I cut the Easysubli as a basic cut, and I print with Microsoft Word.
Would it be easier to press all of it at the same time onto the shirt? Like put the shirt on the press, then the easy subli and the sublimation print on top. Then you wouldn't have to peel the easy subli off the parchment paper.
Unfortunately, no. You don’t want to press the adhesive from the EasySubli onto the shirt for more than 15 seconds or it can ruin the adhesive. When you pressing sublimation you need to press for about 60 seconds. When your using the parchment paper it doesn’t activate the adhesive from the EasySubli. I hope that makes sense.
Thank you so much for this video. Our problem is that every time we have tried this it keeps sticking to the parchment paper and won't come off. We have tried this 3 times and cannot get it to work. We have used parchment paper and not butcher paper. Can you please help? Thank you so much.
The only parchment paper I have tried is the one I used in this video, the link to it is in the description. I have never had a problem with it sticking.
Yes, I did. This is a hack, an alternative way to sublimate on EasySubli. My epson messes up the print every time I've tried to print it directly. You have to take it off the carrier sheet so that you can sublimate on it.
Thanks for your comment, I’ve heard about 1/2 and 1/2 where some will work and some will not. I cannot get it to print nicely on either of my Epsons. I’m happy that you are able to get yours to work!
I’m not 100% sure because I don’t have that printer, will you try it and let us know? I would assume that it will work because it’s a specialized Sublimation printer. Those printer heads are different than the other Epson printers that we convert to Sublimation. I would assume that your printer heads can handle the EasySubli material.
Lorie I have the same Epson F170 so please reply here if you have tried printing directly on the Subli and then pressing on garment. Thanks in advance for sharing your experience.
Sometimes it works, on my 15000 and 2760 I get wheel lines and smudges. It is best used with Printers that are specifically made for Sublimation, not converted.
I cannot answer to parchment papers that I have not used. My guess would be to wait until it’s cool, then try and peel it off? The link to the parchment paper I used is in the description.
Did you watch the full tutorial? I didn't do the typical print then cut, because my image was larger than Cricut's print than cut allows.. I printed from word and cut from Cricut, so the image wouldn't need to be censored on the mat.
Great suggestion, I believe at the time of making this video Design Space didn’t have that option yet, or it was newer and I didn’t know how to use it back then.

Hi I just used my easy sublimation paper in my Eason 2760 with my settings on permanent Matt and the picture came out beautiful
I've had it work one time when I printed directly onto the EasySubli, the rest all had wheel marks from the printer and were smudged in many areas.

You have to use the same kind that I used in the tutorial. I haven’t been able to get other brands to work.

Thanks so much for watching. No you cannot use butcher paper, only parchment paper otherwise it will stick.
Maybe I missed it but which side of the subli do you cut on ? The shiny or textured? Thank you for the tutorial!!
You cut the textured side. The shiny side is the carrier sheet and you don't want to cut that.
Hi, I love your videos thank you for being so informative! Quick question, what material do you set your cricut to cut the easysubli?

If you have a sawgrass I hear it works well. I’m not sure on an Epson.
Wonderful Video!!! I think Ive bought about everything on the list, but wanted to ask what do you use on the top of your heat press with the magnets? :) Thank you!
I use a Teflon sheet and use magnets to make it stick to the heat press.
HELLO, I LOVED YOUR TUTORIAL. WHAT ELSE CAN YOU BUY IF YOU DON'T HAVE THE FUNDS FOR SISER SUBLI?
There are other materials but they are close to the same price.
I always print on the easysubli with my epson printer without any problems.
For paper setting you need to set it on normal paper
I’ve tried it twice, one time with the normal paper setting but it still didn’t turn out well.

I am not sure what versions it is available on. I know that you have to update your software, it was available in one of the more recent updates.

So can you use spray glue instead of tape maybe
With EasySubli I would say no. You don't want to mess with the adhesive it already has.
EMMA, What Gildan shirt do you like the best. I heard you list them but now can't find that video...was is G420 and or G460. thanks
For bleaching, I prefer the Gilden 64000 in Heather colors.
@@EmmasCottage sorry i wasn't clear - i meant for vinyl and subli. you are blessing.
@@TheJanbates for EasySubli I don’t have a preference, you could even use 100% cotton.
Hello! Did you print (with your Epson) on regular copy paper?
I don't use regular copy paper. I use sublimation paper. My favorite brand is StarCraft!
I like the screen shot idea. Thank you. When you contoured, couldn’t you have clicked on Hide All Contours and picked the top one?
No because the top part of the lip and the bottom part of the lip weren’t connected, that is why I had to close the gap.
@@EmmasCottage Thanks Emma, working on it right now.
Hi
Do you know if regular htv could be put on top of a bodged easy subli job to cover it plse?
I have never tried that, but my instinct says no.
How did you get your cutter to cut the easysubli when there were no guide lines lines for it to read before it starts the cut?.
My Maker 3 won't cut it because it cannot read the lines (that are not there).
You are referring to the print and cut feature. I cut my EasySubli as a basic cut whenever my image is larger than the Cricut constraints.
Really good thorough instructions.
Why does your sign say, "Dandelion Cottage" and not "Emma's Cottage?"
Do you put the easysubli onto the mat shinny side down or up?
@@EmmasCottage well I will give it another try and see …. I don’t think I did but we shall see… 😊 Thank you!
Can you print directly on the Easy Subi using an EPSON F170 Sublimation printer ?
I’m not sure, I don’t have that printer. I’m sure you could try it.
Do you think you could sublimate the image and then cut it in design space? I have a few designs that just have words that I want to try this method on before I use HTV.
You need the register marks to be able to cut within design space. So this would only work if you printed them as well.
@@EmmasCottage That's what I thought. Thanks for the reply
If I design any of colours then can the sublimation printer print the same different colours by only 4 ink that it use
Yes, it works just like any other printer. Keep in mind it won’t print white.
Easy Subli jams in my epson
Mine too that’s why I do it this way.
Which side do I put my print onto the rough side of the whinny side
The rough side. The shiny side goes on the fabric, it’s the adhesive.
hi, how does that material feel on the clothe? I mean does it feel rough and heavy or soft and thin?
Fast forward the video to 38:38. I would say that it feels soft and thin. The Glitter vinyl is rough and heavy.
How did you get the Cricut to cut the easy subli without sensor marks?
I dont thinnk i have any good parch paper could you use teflon sheet like you do with glitter or glow in dark?
I have not tried it with Teflon but I have heard of others trying it and said that it works!
@@EmmasCottage awsome thank you. im about to try so i will keep you updated
teflon sheets do work as well :)
@@stephaniecooksley9901 I haven’t tried but I’ve heard the same thing! Thanks for sharing.
Where dis you purchase and what kind of ink do you have?
I purchased the EasySubli from Mycraftsource.com and I have one printer with Cosmos ink and another with Epson Sublimation Ink.
Thank you so much for this video. Our problem is that every time we have tried this it keeps sticking to the parchment paper and won't come off. We have tried this 3 times and cannot get it to work. We have used parchment paper and not butcher paper. Can you please help? Thank you so much.
I have the exact same problem. I am so frustrated!
The only parchment paper I have tried is the one I used in this video, the link to it is in the description. I have never had a problem with it sticking.
What pressure should I press for? Medium heavy?
Yes, I press medium to heavy.
I’m new to sub but didn’t you peel the easy Subli off it’s carrier sheet?
Yes, I did. This is a hack, an alternative way to sublimate on EasySubli. My epson messes up the print every time I've tried to print it directly. You have to take it off the carrier sheet so that you can sublimate on it.
Actually the Epson printers do print just fine in EasySubli. I have a ET-3760 and it works just fine
Thanks for your comment, I’ve heard about 1/2 and 1/2 where some will work and some will not. I cannot get it to print nicely on either of my Epsons. I’m happy that you are able to get yours to work!
If I have the Epson F170 Sublimation printer will the subli work to print directly on the subli?
I’m not 100% sure because I don’t have that printer, will you try it and let us know? I would assume that it will work because it’s a specialized Sublimation printer. Those printer heads are different than the other Epson printers that we convert to Sublimation. I would assume that your printer heads can handle the EasySubli material.
Lorie I have the same Epson F170 so please reply here if you have tried printing directly on the Subli and then pressing on garment. Thanks in advance for sharing your experience.
Quick question can you use butcher paper for this instead of the parchment paper for this project?
No you cannot use butcher paper, EasySubli will stick to it. I have heard that you can use Teflon sheets.
@@EmmasCottage learned this the hard way.
I print on easy subli with my Epson inkjet?
Sometimes it works, on my 15000 and 2760 I get wheel lines and smudges. It is best used with Printers that are specifically made for Sublimation, not converted.
Hello,
Using Signature Select Parchment and the paper stuck to the easysubli. is there a safe way to remove it with out ruining it?
I cannot answer to parchment papers that I have not used. My guess would be to wait until it’s cool, then try and peel it off? The link to the parchment paper I used is in the description.
Hi what papers do you use exactly? Can you post a link or the actual names? Please
What papers are you referring to? Everything I used in this tutorial is listed in the description of the video. I hope that helps!
How are u cutting it without the image being sensored on the mat ?
Did you watch the full tutorial? I didn't do the typical print then cut, because my image was larger than Cricut's print than cut allows.. I printed from word and cut from Cricut, so the image wouldn't need to be censored on the mat.
Could you use butcher paper instead of parchment paper?
No, it will stick to the butcher paper.
I use offset feature to cut easy subli
Great suggestion, I believe at the time of making this video Design Space didn’t have that option yet, or it was newer and I didn’t know how to use it back then.
My sublimation paper stuck to the easy subli and removed some of the colors. Do you know why this happened? My press was at 380 for 60 seconds.
No, I’m sorry. This has never happened to me when I’ve used EasySubli
