A boy with a iPhone 13 and a driver to pick and drop him to school and tuition. Comes to me and says I got admission in SRCC with a marks of 674/ 900 with a obc quota. And I who got 701/900 is sitting in waiting list to get there. I don't have any iPhone or any car, I am also not that economically weak to get in by ews. RESERVATION IS NECESSARY BUT FOR THE NEEDY ONES NOT FOR THE GREEDY ONES

5:11 A few of my classmates who are from middle class families and are from upper class made fake caste certificates years ago to get jobs in the reserved category and some to get Norms in university. In Assam, it's very easy to make a fake caste certificate, so I don't think now it will be any hard task for middle class kids to get a fake economically weak certificate.

Wherein she said that the constant bigotry from one side has always been tolerated, yet if I speak my mind about someone I'll become a target.
So I don't think that whatever she said was wrong and the protests that followed just strengthened her views.

Chalo reservation m kuch accha hua. Although I am from sc caste but Reservation financial condition par hi hona sabse best h kyuki caste se koi Amir garib nahi hota general bhi garib ho sakta h aur St bhi Amir hi sakta h. It's not the fault of the person ki vo general caste m garib paida hua.

I'm a doctor. I am from a general merit category, have no reservations. I believe if any one becomes a doctor through reservation quota, should have that mentioned in front of their degree. Example- if doctor XYZ comes through OBC quota, his name outside his clinic should be written as- Dr. Xyz (OBC).
Because if someone wants to take the benefits of their quota, they better acknowledge it openly.
If they can't acknowledge it, then they should take a seat through merit.
I have no issues if govt. provides free books to quota students using tax payers money. Even free school and college is fine.
But they can't take away our seat (which should be only through merit).
And if they can't get it through merit, better mention it clearly in their degree that they re category student.

Also, So many of my friends have shown fake income certificates to get EWS quota. It's fairly common. Plus the criteria for EWS is not so well defined, people from rich families find loopholes in the defination and get themselves easily enrolled as EWS candidate.
