Hey Stuart, ever thought of doing videos about Teochew (Chinese) influence on the Thai language? I know you study Mandarin and Canto mainly, but I was surprised (in a good way) to find out about the Teochew influence. Either way, keep up the great work! Love this series in particular 🙂
So this is episode 1. I will be creating a new set in Jcademy of this series and include it in the Unlimited bundle to add extra value. I'll probably upload about 5 or 10 to RUclips, but hopefully eventually cover 1000s of sentences
Helps a lot for many as 1. I have thousands of followers / students who are Chinese speakers and / learning or already speak these languages. Learning Thai via these languages is a much more efficient process than learning via English, so if links can be made, its making life easier for many people.
New favourite series on RUclips - looking forward to the rest!
Also enjoyed 12:47 - was Yoda perhaps Thai and an English second language speaker? 👏😄
5555... just put episode 2 out!
Excellent lesson!! Thank you Stuart!

ภาษาไทยคือซับซ้อนและลึกมากกก
Hey great demonstration! What membership level do I need to buy to get access to this?

Hi Stuart! when you read 3110 you leav out the word "tung". Would it mean something else if you include it? ( khit tung = missing?)
It's in the transliteration by mistake but not the actual Thai.

Honest question, If I want to learn Thai, how does referencing Laos/Chinese/etc words help me?
