Harvesting Potatoes

It was time to harvest potatoes. The leaves were dying, and it had been about 13 weeks since I sowed. I didn’t get a huge crop, but it was decent. I’ll amend the soil before I sow again in late August or September. If you remember in a previous post, I sowed two different types of potatoes: a small potato seed that I bought at a local nursery and a bag of large organic potatoes that I bought at a local grocery store. Under the current soil and sun conditions, I think they grew well. It was a good experiment, and I look forward to trying it again in the fall to see how they grow in those conditions.
