I feel like people aren’t talking about how beautiful this movie was. The wall of Babylon, scenes, celestials conversing with the Eternals in space, and all the different locations and settings that Chloe Zhao used to convey how long the Eternals have been on earth. It was all breathtaking honestly. People are going to appreciate this movie more in a few years time.

I agree. I had super high expectations going into this film and I was STILL blown away watching it. I’ve heard people say there was too much dialogue but don’t understand the importance of dialogue. These kind of characters and story require dialogue, plus the way they show the fight scenes felt like it wasn’t from the MCU but that’s such a positive thing. I hope people go watch for themselves to form an opinion cuz this is one of the few CBM I would actually campaign to be nominated for a reward.
Wow man you guys are one of the few youtubers I've seen who have also enjoyed this movie as much as I did and I appreciate y'all for that, all these other youtubers bitching about everything marvel releases, you are right, it feels damn good walking into the movie theater and seeing the new things marvel offers
Amen 🙏🏻 nice to hear a positive reaction! I bloody loved this movie! And wow 😯 it opens up another level! I’m old school geek who read these comics in the 70’s! I love that we are seeing all this on the big screen!
Been waiting for this reaction! I’m so glad you loved it! I loved it too! I can’t even write all the things I loved about it. I am still thinking about it even days after. I need to see it again! And yes it has to be watched in IMAX
After all the reviews I was hearing and Emergency Awesome stating that the structure of the movie was more similar to Dune, I came to the conclusion that people went into this movie expecting Gundam, yet were given Eva and cannot process it. I stand by that more than ever, I literally felt I was watching an anime with this movie, (the emergence reminds of second/third impact from Eva, hell Tiamet even gave Unit 02 vibes). I adore it! My only complaint is the transitions, I think there were some things shaved off for time, but just like maybe a few minutes as a whole. This was such a human story. As to the post credit scenes, they basically added a new layer to Thanos (and kept more to his comic book familial connects). Pip could have been much better, that was kinda bad, though it brings Patton Oswald into the MCU proper. My favourite was the end credit scene where we got to see the Ebony Blade and Kit Harrington one step away from becoming the Black Knight but stopped by a mysterious voice……………which turns out to be Mahershala Ali’s. THEY TEASED BLADE!!!!!!!! (It also a comic book connection because the characters were on a team together, thank you Erik Voss). The phase 4 has now TRULY opened the floodgates.
Yeah Eternal's lore makes Thano's motivation in the Infinity Saga even more complex. Thanos never really delved in detail about the destruction of Titan. Yes he mentioned briefly about not enough resources for the people, but what if the real reason he went for the snap was related to the consequences Eternals deals with. What if Thanos's snap was an attempt to delay Emergences across the Cosmos all at once because Titan was destroyed in such an emergence?
The transitions in the beginning were a problem, I thought. The switch to the scene where Sersi was explaining who they are to Dane almost felt like a glitch, it was so abrupt. Thankfully that eased up as the movie went on.
THAT WAS BLADE!?!?!?! 🤯🤯🤯Idk much about the Ebony Blade or a lot of the comic book concepts presented in this movie plus I suck at recognizing voices but I had no idea that’s Blade at the end! Wow! Thanks, that makes the end credit scene that much more special for me
Ikaris look light as a feather flying. For me it was a one time watch movie. But the characters were good, the effects a spectacle, and the twist was also really good. Makkari and Ikaris powers were amazing to watch. Never seen flight like that, never seen speed look so good
"Robb Stark!" lol me at the end "Robb Stark was kind of a dick in this one." I really enjoyed this movie and I'm excited for the future of the Eternals. Makkari might be favorite in this. The acting of Lauren and Angelina... so good.
I've been a fan of the MCU and the MCU has built itself on characters. These characters were shells. Why in the world did they not spend more time with Ajak for example? Other than a sentence or two, we have no idea why she is so revered by the others. And Thena...all we know about her is she's got some memory issues. Then you had charactesr like Icarus who zig zagged with his emotions so much it was dizzying. He plots Ajak's death like an ass and then balls his eyes out looking at poor green zombie ajak's ugly green corpse. What the H is that?
I felt the same way. The beginning I thought was a little clunky and weird, but the further it went it smoothed out and I really enjoyed it by the end. Not my favorite Marvel movie, but I liked it a lot.
@@srae1971 same! That text in the beginning was so weird. I thought the movie was going to be a clunky mess after seeing that but it really ended up becoming a very interesting film.
I love that, even with their sincere conflict of opinions and even after trying their best to kick each other's ass - all was forgiven at the end of the day. Because family is family.
Thank you for being honest! Other youtubers are too concerned with whatever the popular opinion may be at the time. I, very much, enjoyed Eternals. This was a different kind of Marvel film... an epic, heart-felt drama with more dialogue than action beats; which, I'm sure, took a lot of people by surprise. If you're looking for an action thriller, this might not be your cup of tea. And that's okay! Great Review!
Rotten tomatoes ratings are stupid. No way should Eternals have a lower rating than Iron man 2 and 3, Thor Dark World, Captain Marvel etc. This was way better imo
Been following you guys for so long but oddly this is my first comment on a video. lol Glad ya'll make your own opinion on reviews. So many people followed the critics and deemed the movie as horrible, but I really enjoyed the movie and I see the bigger picture of what this movie sets up in the MCU. I love the diversity of the cast, the storyline, the action, the scenery, and easter eggs. So many great moments and characters but my favorite are Makkari, Druig, and Gilgamesh even tho I loved all of them.
Really enjoyed this movie and don't understand the hate, sure it wasn't perfect but so many marvel movies get a free pass that are far inferior to this movie. Thanks guys for the refreshing review!
Idk what drugs reviewers were on but this is top 5 marvel movies for me, it's genuinely amazing. Shout-out to Lauren Riddlof and Angelina Jolie as Makkari and Thena!
i absolutely loved the movie but damn do i wish we could see more scenes of the group in ancient times working together and hanging out cause their characters were so fun with their battles and convos
Makkari and Ikaris's fight was so good. Definitely gave me Flash vs Superman vibes. I give the movie an 8, I wanted a bit more action, but still had a brilliant time.
For the people who gave the movie a bad review , it seems like they all share the same traits lol,, at least it wasn't like venom where the best part was the post credit scene 😅
I really don’t understand why people detest this movie the whole time I couldn’t even finish eating my popcorn and poutine- the movie was legit THAT good, bruh
I enjoyed it a lot more than Black Widow and Shang Chi honestly. It took itself very seriously and I enjoyed the chemistry between most characters and the action was always superb when it happened. Critics on Rotten Tomatoes are just backwards nowadays. The audience score and IMDB are more accurate of the reception. I enjoyed the movie despite its flaws.
I loved this film, I know it’s not for everyone, but this is a personal favorite for me. Just loved the characters, huge build up for all of the future events. Just can’t wait to see more. I shall forever defend this movie.
I thought it was one of the best Marvel movies I've seen yet so many think otherwise. To each his own but I loved it all the way through and was never bored.
Makkari, Druig, Kingo, and Thena were my faves. Makkari stra8 up put hands on Ikaris lol. The history with the Celestials and the world building was just dope! My only gripe was that the film could have been just 25 minutes shorter.
Nice review. Yes I agree with the guys, this movie was breathtaking. I truly loved it and yes it is officially my favorite MCU movie of the year. My rating 9.8/10. I will be seeing this movie again in IMAX!! STRUGGLE NATION 4LIFE.
A lot of people got drunk on the Infinity Saga. They also don't understand that a stand alone story/team doesn't have to build up to a epic event. Also some weren't used to this method of story telling and origin story. I loved this film.
Spoilers below. Arishem said it was the celestials job to recycle energy in order to create planets and suns to keep the universe from collapsing and going into heat death. Reading between the lines it’s the celestials job to prevent the Big Crunch. Big Crunch is when the universe has reached heat death and has stopped expanding and eventually crunch back into nothing. If I were to guess if no more planets and sun’s were created to replace sun’s that have dissipated or disappeared it would lead to the acceleration of the universe facing heat death. So the celestials must replace old sun’s and planets to keep the universe from reaching its end. On to a much more scary related issue going much further. What if the Celestials are hurrying to create more or replacement sun’s and planets because planetary bodies are disappearing before their time. What if Galactus is consuming planetary bodies. Because He's actually out there because we are getting an fantastic four movie soon. What if Galactus is going around consuming suns and celestial seed worlds and that's why there's so few Celestials now. Arishem said he was going to come back to judge earth and it's people, maybe he meant he's coming back to see if earth is worthy of being protected from galactus.
Loved it! And this was the unabashed praise I wanted to hear, so thank y'all for that! Also very excited for Blade, but the opposite of excited for Morbius so hoping they keep them separated. ;)
You guys are right, doesn’t mean you heard the critics is bad and you just say it’s bad and you haven’t watched it. Same with the first Venom movie same bs they said and they haven’t watched it.
The Celestial that they were trying to stop from being born actually joined their link to help them do it. Which indicates that all the celestials are not on the same page.
ok your opening bit has my crying. seriously. feel like im part of a church family the way you say it. and im really feeling the rest of what you are talking about. us nerds seeing things we never imagined we could see on screen. for me, i read these comics starting in 1967 or so, through 1979. and all i had was those rinkydink cartoons. i NEVER thought id see this for real. i watched the bill bixby hulk, which i loved, but of course i knew i wouldnt get a REAL hulk tv series, there was no way to film that. period. end of story. spaceships we could do, but not superhero monsters. now, we can. eternals was not possible in 1976. not possible. now its real. damn.
This movie was Solemn...talked about mental health(Thena), homosexuality(Phastos), disability(Makkari), free will, in a so natural way. I am every day even more proud to be part of this MARVEL family. Gods became humans among humans.

@@mriddley That’s why we shouldn’t listen to those lazy overpaid trolls. They don’t even have a real job.
Loved the jon snow Robb stark reunion. I also love how they’re building up kit Harrington to be a major character just like they did game of thrones
Thank god you guys like this movie. My heart would have shattered if you hated it
That's why y'all are my favorite reactors lol Common sense! Glad you guys also liked it.
Wow man you guys are one of the few youtubers I've seen who have also enjoyed this movie as much as I did and I appreciate y'all for that, all these other youtubers bitching about everything marvel releases, you are right, it feels damn good walking into the movie theater and seeing the new things marvel offers
Star Wars magazine is an Easter egg when Sersi and Ikarus are siting in Phastos' dining room. Love this movie and hope there will be a sequel!
Amen 🙏🏻 nice to hear a positive reaction! I bloody loved this movie! And wow 😯 it opens up another level! I’m old school geek who read these comics in the 70’s! I love that we are seeing all this on the big screen!
Good taste, my friends! The movie was epic and moving. I recognize the flaws but was entertained at the end of the day.
I don’t give a fuck what anyone says the movie was amazing.
Been waiting for this reaction! I’m so glad you loved it! I loved it too! I can’t even write all the things I loved about it. I am still thinking about it even days after. I need to see it again! And yes it has to be watched in IMAX
Watched it twice and it’s definitely my favorite movie in the entire MCU. So deeply human, raw, and beautiful
Ikkaris struggled against his programming for eons then to find out it's canceled. Obviously he was angry.
The acting of Lauren and Angelina... so good.
Thanks for being fans and seeing it from a fans perspective.
4:10 Imagine that Eternal vs cull obsidian
I've been a fan of the MCU and the MCU has built itself on characters. These characters were shells. Why in the world did they not spend more time with Ajak for example? Other than a sentence or two, we have no idea why she is so revered by the others. And Thena...all we know about her is she's got some memory issues. Then you had charactesr like Icarus who zig zagged with his emotions so much it was dizzying. He plots Ajak's death like an ass and then balls his eyes out looking at poor green zombie ajak's ugly green corpse. What the H is that?
Great review! For me, this movie started odd for me, but the further into it I got I enjoyed and ended up loving it by the end.
I had just started watching The Angry Joe review of eternals saw you uploaded this and now here I am I support my people whenever I can
Rotten tomatoes ratings are stupid.
After Venom and now Eternals, I can’t trust that a movie is bad because the critics say so, I thoroughly enjoyed and even loved both movies.
I’m sorry but venom 2 was terrible
Loved eternals but I thought venom 2 was ass
@@astrocap5373 I was speaking more so about venom 1 although I did enjoy venom 2 as well
I stopped looking at movie reviews after watching captain marvel. I just come to watch movies for entertainment nothing else
I was happy to see my dude from Train to Busan still using his fists for the greater good.
They were both awesome! I agree with Drew, when Makkari was battling Ikaris, she was putting the smack down
i absolutely loved the movie but damn do i wish we could see more scenes of the group in ancient times working together and hanging out cause their characters were so fun with their battles and convos
Don’t k ow if your saying venom two is bad if you are it was ok but my opinion the symbiote fight scenes were great
Venom 2 is fine, it's just Carnage wasn't fleshed out
@@guts7561 i agree with that
I really don’t understand
why people detest this movie
the whole time I couldn’t even finish
eating my popcorn and poutine-
the movie was legit THAT good, bruh
I enjoyed it a lot more than Black Widow and Shang Chi honestly. It took itself very seriously and I enjoyed the chemistry between most characters and the action was always superb when it happened.
Critics on Rotten Tomatoes are just backwards nowadays. The audience score and IMDB are more accurate of the reception. I enjoyed the movie despite its flaws.
@@cold_Lightning9 Black Widow fucking sucked,
Shang-Chi was meh
You guys are cool af. I appreciate your realness. A breath of fresh air. You guys are serious Marcel fans and not on that trip!
I’m sorry but I laughed a lil bit to hard when sprite got knocked out with that rock 😂😂
Best scene ever!
Sprite was the only Eternal I didn’t really like. She came off as a pouty teenage girl.
I loved this film, I know it’s not for everyone, but this is a personal favorite for me. Just loved the characters, huge build up for all of the future events. Just can’t wait to see more. I shall forever defend this movie.
This movie feels like a typical mcu film.i don't know why everyone is saying this is different.
Same
You guys have excellent taste. 👏🏾 i can't wait to see more of them. Makkari 💨💨💨❤❤
I thought this movie was great. A few minor minor issues but that's it. #11 MCU film for me.
Honestly loved this movie. It wasn't top 5 MCU or anything like that, but I though it ruled and I love the world building.
I could watch Makkari and Gilgamesh fight all day! 🔥
Don Lee kicking ass as always.
That was the best justice league movie
I honestly liked - loved every Eternal introduced
Our girl is back 😍👍
This movie is basically a set-up movie to something bigger for the MCU.
The 2nd host?
Wongs brother? You recognise him from train to Busan. Remember how dope he was then?
I agree. I loved this movie, and I was pissed that some RUclipsrs tried to brainwash me into hating it. And YES Gilgamesh and Thena were totally dope.
Loved it! And this was the unabashed praise I wanted to hear, so thank y'all for that! Also very excited for Blade, but the opposite of excited for Morbius so hoping they keep them separated. ;)
I agree with literally everything you said. Fucking preach, my friends.
Church of Marvel, where you know the movie reviews are always 💯. Never doubt the MCU ❤️
🤮
If you think about it the avengers bringing everybody back are the real villains of this movie lol
I thought it was a little long but considering they're setting up the entire next phase they had to pack a lot into this movie.
You guys are right, doesn’t mean you heard the critics is bad and you just say it’s bad and you haven’t watched it. Same with the first Venom movie same bs they said and they haven’t watched it.
The Celestial that they were trying to stop from being born actually joined their link to help them do it. Which indicates that all the celestials are not on the same page.
ok your opening bit has my crying. seriously. feel like im part of a church family the way you say it. and im really feeling the rest of what you are talking about. us nerds seeing things we never imagined we could see on screen. for me, i read these comics starting in 1967 or so, through 1979. and all i had was those rinkydink cartoons. i NEVER thought id see this for real. i watched the bill bixby hulk, which i loved, but of course i knew i wouldnt get a REAL hulk tv series, there was no way to film that. period. end of story. spaceships we could do, but not superhero monsters. now, we can. eternals was not possible in 1976. not possible. now its real. damn.
I loved this movie and I love it more the longer I think about it.
same lol
Me too. I need to see it again bc I keep thinking about it lol
I thought I was alone. I can't get it out of my head, even dreamt about it.
This movie was Solemn...talked about mental health(Thena), homosexuality(Phastos), disability(Makkari), free will, in a so natural way. I am every day even more proud to be part of this MARVEL family.
Gods became humans among humans.
I love yah cause everbody felt like it was gone get dragged cause it’s different but everyone forgot nobody knew much or rated the avengers/ guardians A listers until Kevin feige brought us the mcu and story’s from the comics we loved
14:20 I like how MDogg is showing hints of acknowledging Silent now.😄
Do guys want to see more celestials? Because I do. What if in the squeal there are some good celestials that will help save the other eletrnals.
My take spoilers below.
