This version is when "Whole Lotta Love" was still a cover of Willie Dixon's "You Need Love".
LastTrainToClarkson Willie is still waiting for his residual check.
He got paid. It was settled back in the 80s.
Regardless, Robert Plant was unbothered by the controversy over the latter song. "Page's riff was Page's riff," he told Musician Magazine in 1990. "It was there before anything else. … At the time, there was a lot of conversation about what to do. It was decided that it was so far away in time and influence that … well, you only get caught when you're successful. That's the game."

So strange to hear this after only knowing the well-known version only. The definitely chose the best version to go on the original Led Zeppelin II.
I like this. Led Zeppelin will always be legendary. But I’m not to sure if I like the remix more, though.

If you add a 40us (microsecond) delay to the left channel it kinda fixes it...
My question: Where is the guitar lick between 03.15 and 03.30 min? Did you deleted it? Listening with headphones on my computer it doesn´t sound. Thanks.

Is it suppose to be in mono?
Uh - I hope that azimuth issue is just in this vid. If that's what Rhino released they need to get someone that knows how to set azimuth on a 2 TR repro head.
Just hit the mono button on your sound system while listening to this. the cymbals get funky.
