Your Dad is a lesson to all of us to enjoy riding a bike. We all take it too seriously sometimes, myself included. Just look what he started in you and Kyle and still riding with you both today.
Nice to have your dad along and the hill and clouds reminds of a trip to Madeira many years back and that was an amazing experience, nice to see the dogs too.
He didn't look too comfortable at times! And I'd love to see how an older person, long used to his bike fit - right or wrong - can benefit from a bike fit. I bet a great many of the older viewers would benefit But can Dan @ UK Bike Fit cope with another Hudson family member?
@@Neilhuny The fit surely changes with age. I can tell. Still have my first road bike. Today, I am thinking how I could last for hours on that thing. Could well be that a bike fit would help Amy's dad.
I loved the shots from up on the hill it looked amazing. Nice to see you having a ride with your dad too. Hope you have a good new year and hope next year is good for you as well looking forward to the new adventures
I just love being up above the clouds, it always looks amazing👌I can imagine how cold that descent was😂12000 miles is some going, I thought I was doing well with 6500 😂Wishing you both all the best for 2025😊
Hi Amy and Kyle, Great to see you out again with your Dad. Looks very cold, if fact blumin freezing. Your dads bike reminds me of my Dawes Galaxy, back in the eighties, also had toe clips. I use spd peddles on my road gravel and emtb, love them. Karl bought you some nice clothes for Christmas, especially your new jacket. Good you and Kyle get a couple of weeks together over Christmas. Well done doing 12000 miles in one year Amy. Have a great New year, Tim Melbourne Australia.
Since you are out and about a lot, I would recommend Tado for controlling your central heating (assuming you have a gas boiler). You can turn it on remotely, meaning you will always arrive back to a warm house.
Hi Amy and Kyle absolute amazing scenery. I’ve managed to feel a lot better in myself after reading your book. I’m going to set myself a target. but making sure I’m not going to burn myself out. Your dad‘s a legend nice crash helmets by the way I’m debating either to buy the same what you and Kyle have enjoy and have a wonderful 2025 continuing on with your dreams ❤❤
I'm really glad you're learning how important rest and recovery are to improving your fitness and overall health! Keep up the great work and good luck with your coaching studies.
Hola amiga ciclista... Te mando un saludo fraterno a la distancia... Que bueno que puedas pedalear con tu padre.. El mio hace 15 años que partió 😢... Sólo quedan los recuerdos de las salidas... Bendiciones desde Chile... Abrazo de ciclista ❤
Well said you are a lovely girl and you farther is like me takes it nice and easy i am probably older than your father i am 63 years old happy new year to yee all and keep on cycling.
Well done Amy, what you crammed into this year. 2025 & onwards, take that "time out" when needed. Or else you'll be like Chester chasing his tail ! :) Round & round & round & round & ....... Too many demands, = not a "Happy chicken" ☀️ 🐔
Didn't your Dad have a beautiful Dawes Galaxy? A beautiful cloud inversion on the Weaver hills. Thank you both for inspiring videos, may you have a brilliant 2025
A "trailhead" is the start (and finish) of a trail, usually referencing a hiking, running, or biking trail (often a trail that goes the ough the woods, though it doesnt have to be a wooded trail). Usually it is adjacent to a parking lot where you park your car so you can hike/bike the trail. Weird thing to say. What could they possibly call it in the UK? Ciabatta, as spoken in Italian, is three syllables: Chi-bot-ta. There is no "s" sound at the beginning, and for some of my fellow Americans there is no "d" sound at the end in place of the "t". Also, it is a double "tt", not a single t, so it has to be said as three separate syllables. The first syllable is said like the word "chip" (minus the p) nor is it "chia"-botta (like Chia seed), and definitely no "s" sound.
Adoro seu canal, sua história e motivação... Você transmite alegria e prazer em estar na bicicleta...isto é muito importante... Continue em frente...feliz 2025... Um abraço aqui do Brasil para você , Kyle e chester
Out of interest, what size Rapha gilet did you buy for Kyle? I've just got a Rapha brevet insulated jacket in a mens small and it's tiny, looks like it should fit a child! 😂
Im 47 now and yeah rest is so important, even more so when your getting on like me 😂 I don't think we benefit from just pushing all the time but we all done when were young.
Glad you both enjoyed your Christmas, gifts looked fab and don't berate Kyle as he plainly thinks you're worth it, otherwise, he wouldn't. BTW, plastic around chocolate powder keeps it fresh and full of flavour, although there is the environmental aspect to bear in mind. Best wishes for 2025 to you both, take care of each other.
Hi Amy. I would just like to point out something you probably already know, but in case you didn't; you are not improving your strength fitness or endurance when your on your bike or in the gym. When you exercise you are stressing your physiology - heart, lungs and muscles. The line on the graph will only show an upward curve if you allow your body to rebuild after the stress by recovering properly . However, ou can do this a number of ways - total inactivity is not a good idea, but active recovery, spinning nice and steady on the watt bike with almost no resisitance, a relaxed walk, or even a lazy swim, or simple yoga and some stretching and being mindful of what fuel/food you put into your body whilst you recover, and get a good sleep. I think you are going to smash 2025 and I'm looking forward to watch you achieve your goals. See you in the next vid TTFN.
I'm shocked!! Your sister left the price label on - big error! Sister (Molly or Kay?) must be named and sha... hang on - Amy is now asking Kyle how much various presents cost! Is it a generational thing, a family culture thing, a north-south thing (though I was brought up ~40 miles from where you live)? Knowing the money spent on something was always forbidden with my family and friends. I should say that I love seeing you both, the dogs and you wonderful parents and sisters (plus boyfriend, British star athlete, Ben)
In a cute voice saying hello sheepies hello cowies when you are a meat eater, is wrong. What you should say is hello sheep I eat your friends and hello sheep I eat your friends. Get real.
"The Adamas Family Adventures" final series, season 2024...now on Netflix,The Community was really hoping to see Lauraaaa...not your father !!! very disappointing.

Exactly!! Ride in the way you enjoy ☺️🙌
Love your dad! He is about my age. This motivate all of us 50 something to get on with it!😂❤❤
Everything slows down except the speed time goes by as you get older, Amy! Love the episodes featuring your dad, a true character.
My favorite quote of the year Amy said "I'm soooo cooked the chef put me on the menu".
Zone 2 is great for mitochondrial development - it's NEVER wasted!
What an amazing experience to share with your Dad, something you’ll both have forever.
Nice to have your dad along and the hill and clouds reminds of a trip to Madeira many years back and that was an amazing experience, nice to see the dogs too.
You've got to schedule an appointment for your dad with Dan at UK Bike Fit, maybe for his birthday. That would be a funny and helpful episode.

Plenty of room in the saddle bag for the paper maps!

yippee 🎄
The Zara dress you could wear a sheer camisole top underneath, Amy 👍
How many people checked the front door when the Ring Doorbell notification went off ?
Is black the only colour cycling clothing comes in, in the UK?
People seem to think it is so fashionable 😊 for me always something bright it has to be !
i havnt driver 10,000 miles this year nevermind cycled
😅 I do cycle a lot!

Your dad's saddle is at least 1 inch too high ; )
thought everyone had geese on their pjs..))
😅😅
Over exercising can be a form of "self harm" for some people especially if they are experincing Mental health problems .
Dad's bike looks a little to big 😭
I don't know who your sister is hanging out with, but I've never heard anyone say Kris Kringle, at least not here in California.
your dads saddle is easy 10cm to high.
Surely ‘every’ rider has a responsibility to carry their own pump? Not cool Amy 😳🤪
😅 we always take one to share if we’re al riding together
Isn't it terrible that they can use "slavery free" as a selling point to sell chocolate.
